As Corraidhìn stood awkwardly in the crowd of people he realized what a grave error he had made. This was no mere assassination that he had dropped in on. He had hoped that the man in black was a humble assassin that he could eliminate and possibly gain the king's trust, but he was obviously more important than that. Two more people, and the guards that would most likely drag him to the chopping block had appeared since he had dropped down. Suddenly the woman across the room materialized two green liquids from her pockets. Quickly he realized that the only way he would make it out this fight without being skinned would be to choose a side. "Damn these Holyoke politics! Who are the bad guys?" he asked over top of the calling voices. "It sounds as if you're all fighting over who gets to defend the king"

Luther realized the individual wasn't going to foolishly and recklessly start attacking people where he tucked his tome back under his shoulder and canceled out his glyph he had on his hand. I didn't quite understand why the person was in the room in the first place and why would someone just recklessly slaughter guards just to get to a throne room? He at first thought perhaps they could be an assassin for hire, but judging by how his actions weren't cunning at all and he just barged in with brute force made Luther dismiss that thought. Razhard didn't know exactly what was going on and the Pangaea officials didn't look like they were taking offensive either. Chloris took one of her hands off her sword then ordered the guards to stay where they are and take no action. She like Luther wanted to sort this whole mess out.

"So much has happened and I doubt any of his wants to raise a blade against the other." Those were the first words that escaped Meira's mouth while she used her eyes to survey the area and understand the situation more. Despite having many questions for her grandfather, now wasn't the time to let her emotions get in the way of her duty. Ranathia was still confused over the events that had just happened. First the arrival of emissaries from Pangaea demanding the return of Daeslurph and now this unknown person just jumping down from the balcony who looked suspicious.

"Let's begin with, do any of you have any business with the King?" Chloris requested toward the people in the room that didn't originally belong in it. She looked over toward Meira, Ranathia and Siia's direction and remembered that they were requested for an audience due to the summoning. "I do know that these three ladies here were requested by the King, but the rest of you I don't know your stories aside from Aira who is the adviser." She said as she started her statement off with a calm voice only to scoff at the last part which was directed at Aira.

"Forgive our intrusion, Lady Chloris. I was requested by the nobles to meet with the King and it seems no one informed him." Drausius started to speak as he stepped out in front leaving behind him the dark armor dressed Azmaldus and his lovely wife Ishtora. He then whispered back toward her as he turned his head toward the woman to answer her question. "Patience, now is not the time, Ishtora. You will get your fest, but you will have to wait."

Chloris didn't like Drausius where her glance shifted into a more serious one as she slowly approached the man, "Meister Drausius, I didn't know about this arranged meeting with the King. I guess the nobles never took the time to tell the Regal Guard. You have my sincerest apologies, sir." She said as she bowed toward the man in a fake gesture to please him. In reality, she hated that man for many reasons which she would not speak about.

Razhard decided to speak once the other sides became silent as his two sisters continued to stand by his side, "So we know that these three lovely ladies and the emissaries were here on official business." He paused as he turned his eyes toward the intruder in the room, but before he did that he ordered Aira to stand down. He wasn't going to permit violence in the room and she needed to stand down since no one else was attacking. "So..."

Razhard then took a more serious tone to his voice as he stared in the unknown assailants direction, "What is your story then? You just rudely barge into the throne room without any announcement or restraint toward your actions which makes a bit cautious about what I should do." He paused briefly before he continued, There is no need for any of your guard to act. I'd like to hear this man out first before I give my final verdict."

"Boy, do you think brute strength is to answer to everything? Brute force would just make the situation worse." Siia said annoyed toward Nathan since she wasn't happy about what he had said earlier. Even though she heard every one of his words, she still didn't like his reckless talk. No one is fighting and now you're just instigating trouble. Don't make me have to take action to restrain your actions." She said coldly toward Nathan has an icy scary glare appeared in her eyes. One that intended cross me and you'll die. It was enough to send chills down anyone's spine since they didn't know what Siia would do if they refused her demand. "Don't make me repeat myself. There is no need for pointless violence and sounding like a savage only makes you look more like an imbecile. We are trying to make peace not break it and an idiotic stunt from any of us could spark a diplomatic incident leading to further bad relations between Guardia and the Pangaea Order. So I ask you this, foolish child. Are you okay with innocents dying, because of your own idiocy and lack of restraint on your words? Your actions can instigate a war. I advise that you contemplate that thoroughly."

Meira agreed with Siia as well. Ranathia was reluctant, but it was probably better to agree with the woman as well. Fighting now wouldn't accomplish anything and Nathan needed to learn how diplomacy and politics work.

Meira looked over toward Nathan and a very serious expression placed itself on her face. She continued to stare him down where she knew that she had to get him to stand down before he sparked a diplomatic incident. At worse, his actions could lead to war, because the fact his weapon was still brandished did mean that he was declaring war on the Pangaea Order. She then spoke with irritation in her voice as she yelled toward Nathan ordering him, "Nathan, as your superior you will step down. That is an order and I don't want an excuse. You will either stand down or you will deal with me. And the one being naive is you. You aren't thinking rationally and letting your emotions take control of your actions!" She said gripping her hand onto her sword. Her eyes telegraphed the seriousness of the nature of how he was taking the situation and she was going to force him to stand down if it came down to that. "I'm not going to ask you again. If you do not stand down I will be forced to resort to submissive action. Do not make me make that decision. Use your head and think rationally and calm your mind. Sheathe your weapons at once!" The last part of the statement she shouted loudly enough so her voice could easily be echoed in his direction. Surely she knew that her voice was heard and now it was up to him to decide what he was going to do.

"It sounds pretty naive to just assume that this is going to end without anyone dead" Nathan responded with a hint of venom in his voice "These people just barged in and all but demanded something that belonged to the king, I don't see this ending well for everyone. I figure the most I can do is try to draw some fire to myself. If I get them annoyed enough, I might just be their first target. That guy with the book looks like he might be the easiest to provoke, which is good because in my experience, spell casters aren't the fastest killers, which I assume he is based on his weapon of choice. Considering how long his attack is likely to take, by the time he's killed me, everyone else will have had ample time to ready themselves. The longer this goes on, the more time they have to plan out their attack. The way I see it; our best bet is to force their hand by making them attack someone expendable, namely me. That way, everyone else will have a good opportunity to counter attack. I don't see anyway for everyone to walk out of here alive. This is what happens when to people unwilling to back down for anything clash; people die. If we're lucky, I'll be our only causality" he finished as he put his swords away. He wasn't going to need them anymore

Xeiyenreisha said "I'd like to hear this man out first before I give my final verdict."

Corraidhìn needed to think fast. The king was obviously no fool. What could he say that would be believable at this point? "I'm a... uhh, mercenary! Offering his proffesional service to you and your nation. I was making my way to stand before you to offer me and my men, when I saw that you might be in danger, and so I rushed in to help, thinking he was an assassin! That's when i noticed that he wasn't an assassin, but it was too late." he lied. It could be half believable, which is only as much as he needed to escape the throne room alive. "I cordially apologize for my rather rude entry. I hope you understand." He placed his mace back in his belt, and his spell book back In his pocket. He turned to Nathan. "Feeling suicidal, are we?"

While Razhard turned his attention away from Nathan seeing as Meira was about to handle it, he fixed all his attention on the unknown assailant. Though Razhard had his doubts he was a mercenary since a he had already hired a blue haired girl who was a mercenary, but he would give the lad the benefit of the doubt. Despite his actions, he decided he would pardon him this time only. "So another mercenary wanders into this throne room? Perhaps you might know a mercenary by the name of Lenna Vashuna of the famous Vashuna family. She was here earlier and offered me her services and was also a mercenary. So, what guild do you work for then?" Razhard questioned toward the individual trying to determine if he was truly a mercenary. "Are you of the famous Vashuna Crimson Lightning Brigade? They know about every mercenary guild in existence and they are by far one of the largest groups in existence."

"I accept your apologies and you have my forgiveness. So your skill as a mercenary brings you to this land? You hardly find many mages amongst mercenaries. Mages if they are independents are usually found in sects."

Aira stepped aside, placing her veils of venom into her robe. She grinned, "I guess I would accept no less hostility from a dragonite." she said, loud enough for everyone to hear her. Even if she died, the possible combat caused by the chaos would cause Guardia to be leader-less and in hysteria. She knew that the idea of a dragonite in a throne room would cause the guards to go into a panic, and it would anger Nathan, possibly into a rage. She pulled her toxic chemicals back from her robes hidden but in reach if the room did break out into combat as she was hoping.

He wants a guild now? Thought Corraidhìn, worried that his cover would soon be blown. "Lenna Vashuna..." He had heard her name on occasion, but never truly heard of her. "The name is familiar, yet the identity escapes me. We are of the... Tyosac Mercenaries Union. We have come all the way from the distant land of Ytrellia to fight for you, as we had received news of the war." That was only half true. They had come fro Ytrellia, but they had come unaware of the war. He had to plan out his next moves carefully. The king of Windgrace was no man to trifle with, especially in times of war. "Our only allegiance lies with you and your humble, yet glorious kingdom." He had only to hope he wouldn't ask the Lightning Brigade if they knew of the 'Tyosac Mercenaries Union'.

"I guess I would accept no less hostility from a dragonite." Nathan knew that voice; it was the bitch who drugged him. He hadn't noticed her before. Wait...did she just say that there was a Dragonite in here? That bitch, she just outed him!

...wait...no that couldn't be it, that would be just stupid. What would she have to gain by revealing his secret in front of everyone like this? There's no way she could be that stupid. But that meant...there was another Dragonite in here! "Dammit" Nathan swore under his breath, who was it!? His eyes looked around, checking out the occupants of the room. While he knew it had to be one of the invaders, who had pretty much just declared war on Guardia by breaking in like this, he had no idea which one it was. He kept his hands at his sides, ready to jump when the other Dragonite transformed. His swords wouldn't be much help against the scales of a Dragonite. So like always, his plan was to climb up to their head, and punch a hole through their skull

Siia was a bit suspicious about the woman's actions though it wasn't enough at the moment to get her to pull out her trump card aside from her Broniac. The way that woman was acting didn't fool her at all and she knew exactly what she was up to. She couldn't really make her move until this whole problem resolved itself. She ignored Nathan's words since they were just useless conjecture that had no place. Turning her attention away from Azmaldus she knew that the true enemy was the one who was acting innocent. It would be hard to persuade the King that his own adviser was trying to defile him and she knew by the way Nathan was acting that she did something to him and her antidote she gave him was taking its precious time to take effect. That woman could try anything, but as long as she was able to see into the future, her actions would always be predictable toward her. She closed her eyes and sighed that this primitive mortal was trying to cause so much havoc. It was self-explanatory that any Xian would want to stain the Guardia throne with the blood of its last King.

"I advise you think your decision over most closely, King Razhard. I'm disappointed with your response, but I will give you another chance to change your mind." Drausius concluded as he looked over toward Chloris who ordered her soldiers to let him pass allowing him to leave the throne room. Ishtora and Azmaldus as accompanied him toward the door as well. "I shall return at another point in time, Razhard. I expect a better answer next time. Your duty is toward your people not some personal trinket." He reminded Razhard as he and the other two accompanied him left the throne room. Before Azmaldus left Meira yelled out his name where he turned around and shook his head, "Fate has cast us as enemies. I expect you to honor that decision, grandchild and please remain at my daughter's side." He paused for a moment as he stepped forward toward Meira and caressed her cheek, "You look so much like your my daughter who is your mother. She would be proud of what you've become and I am too. Though we may have different resolves, my love for you Meira won't change. Take care of yourself. Perhaps you can stop me from doing something horrible in the future." Those were his final words as Drausius called his name where he obeyed and left the room with Drausius.

Meira wasn't completely satisfied with what Azmaldus said toward her. There were questions she wanted answers to, but he didn't give her the chance to ask them. He just said his piece and left which irritated her. She didn't understand why her grandfather had become the man he was now. Moreover why was he working with the Pangaea Order and what did Siia exactly mean by he betrayed her? Was she in love with this man at one time? Meira thought in surprise.

Razhard listened to Corraidhin's piece then gave his final verdict on what he was going to do, "I've heard of Ytrelia and if you're from that continent then there is no doubt you're a mercenary. You're probably familiar with Vermilia and Ibelia which are the two largest nations lead by mercenaries so I'm guessing you're from one of those nations." She then ordered one of his soldiers over toward him with a bag of Alura. He then threw the Alura at Corradhin where he continued, "I shall accept your services then. That is one hundred thousand Alura. I'm sure that is more than enough to compensate you for hiring your services."

Luther and Chloris didn't like the King's decision, but they would accept it nonetheless. They weren't ones to argue since they could only honor his decision hoping he would not regret it one day. Chloris ordered her soldiers afterward to stand aside, but to stick at the entrances and increase guard security around the castle so nothing like this could happen again. Like Siia though, she also didn't like the Aira woman nor did Luther. Luther always tried to avoid talking to the woman since everything she said was just a bunch of nonsense he didn't want to listen to.

"Member of a cult are you?" Siia questioned with suspicion lit in her eyes. "I have my doubts toward your trustworthiness and I don't trust you at all. Though I will not openly oppose you, I will give you firm warning. If you do anything that I should deem impractical you will die right where you stand. So I will advise you to cease what ever you are up to even if it is what I suspect which is to arouse the hatred in a certain individual's heart to erupt in merciless massacre." She threatened as she formed an empty magic circle on her hand with no symbols on it.

"I've studied your kind and you use Mana on Xi. But I know an art that surpasses even Mana. You could not comprehend how powerful my magic is nor would you understand this art I know that usurps all other forms of magic. It isn't Holy Magic either."

Nathan watched them just walk away in stunned silence. By the time he regained his senses, they were out of earshot "...they backed off. They just...backed off" the surprise on his face was quite clear "that...that doesn't make any sense. They wanted the spear enough to invade the castle...so why did they leave without a fight? Why did the king just let them go for that matter? They invaded his home and demanded his most precious treasure...so why did he just let them leave?" In his confused state, he had began to hyperventilate "this has to be some kind of dream. That's the only explanation." Drawing his white sword, Ysera, he used it to slash his own wrist. "Gah! I felt that. But that means that this isn't a dream. Dammit, why does nothing make sense anymore!?"

Aira smiled inwardly, despite Siia's and Nathan's threats, they couldn't touch her. To the king, she is a respectable adviser and a "proud" member of one of his kingdoms. If either of them attacked, or even killed her, they would face the kingdom's wrath and she would be protected. While she can't use her magic in the king's presents, if worst came to worst, she would be able to use her magics and protect herself against the fools, and she would be able to use her potions and poisons without qualms.

"King Razhard, you should settle your dispute with these others kingdoms later as both a dragon and a witch is at your door. That boy there is a dragonite, and I suspect him to be a spy of the Dragonia nation. And that strange figure is a witch and a slanderer, she claims me to be not loyal and that I am some kind of cultist in my own head! She is using a magic that doesn't even use esir which is forbidden in this fine kingdom. You know even in the troubled times of Xi, we, the nobles of Xi, will stand strong with our king! Now, please king, arrest these traitors and witches! I doubt those girls with those two are any more innocent of treason!" she shouted.

She acted like she had no clue what Psygonics was, but the cult had informed of this magic. She knew it was powerful and was unaffected by cursed magic, but if the hag would kill her now after this claim, she would only confirm that group was untrustworthy and evil, and she would make her final moments count.

"Bloody hell!" shouted Corraidhìn as he caught the bag jingling full of money. He opened it up and looked inside, a saw a gleaming heap of gold. He doubted he had ever gazed upon that much money in one place before. And the king had simply thrown it to him as if it were a bag of dirt. "T-thank you your highness" he stumbled out in amazement. "I will inform my men at once. You give us the orders, and we will ride out to any foe you deem worthy to die by the wrath of the Tyosacs." He began to exit the room, but stopped in front of the four people arguing. Obviously the argument had made no progress. "If you're planning on killing someone, if I might put in my suggestion, kill the dragon. It doesn't seem like he'd mind."

"Curses..." Siia said under her breath realizing the situation had taken a turn for the worst. She was about to allow herself to be captured nor was she going to let the two she was looking after be captured as well. She immediately canceled out the effect of her spell and began to think of how she was going to get them out of this predicament.

Razhard motioned toward his guards as he listened to his adviser and did as she requested. He had no reason not to trust her and he didn't know these people from Windgrace long enough to actually fully trust them. A pity since the pink haired girl was very attractive and he found her an ideal interest in his life, but when it came to his people that bear more weight than his personal interests and he didn't let his emotions get in the way of his decision. He ordered Luther and Chloris to both seize the four present in the room where the soldiers moved in front of the entrances blocking their exits. "I'm afraid my duty is to my people and if my adviser says you're a threat then I have no other option, but to trust in her decision. The four of you will be placed under arrest until we can sort this whole mess out."

Meira wasn't about to let herself be captured as well nor was Ranathia. She was insulted by the King's decision, because he had summoned them into the audience room as emissaries and now he branded them as criminals. She kept her hand right at her sword in case anyone tried to approach her. If she had to, she would cut her way through the ranks just to make her escape. There wasn't time to form a teleportation spell and time was running short on what they should do. "I solemnly swear, you will regret this decision one day. I have no interest in going quietly." She turned her attention toward the King and his adviser letting them know she was about to lay her weapons and surrender quietly. "Dammit, we're surrounded and there's no getting through without taking casualties..." Meira said toward herself with concern since she needed to act quickly before more troops entered the room. There wasn't much time before the entire castle was locked down and before he locked down the city so if she wanted to escape she had to do it now. She was angry that she second guessed herself and didn't listen to Nathan since he was right. Now wasn't the time for regrets, it was the time for action.

The soldiers slowly approached the four as Razhard and his sisters demanded they throw down their weapons, but they did not listen. Luther had not moved from his position and Chloris was hesitant to act since she didn't want to guess wrong about what Luther was about to decide. Luther then pushed his hand up into the air where he formed a giant glyph around the entire group which produced a forcefield which wouldn't allow anyone else to enter or exit. The three looked at him and asked what he was doing and he advised them that he wasn't trying to capture them. His loyalty lied with the nation of Windgrace even if he loathed Archduke Valerius. He wouldn't allow these loyalists of Queen Erialyss be intimidated. "Chloris, you can stop me if you want. But my decision has been made." He paused for a moment as he turned his eyes right at her while maintaining his spell, "I don't really care about this nation. The only reason I came here was to look for my sister. Now that I know she isn't here, I have no reason to stay here."

"Dammit Luther, you're going to make me choose between my heart or my honor!?" Chloris exclaimed as she was frustrated. She was a member of the House of Ingrassia, but she received her sword from a man named Lucent who talked about a girl with pink hair he was looking for. She thought to herself when she just remembered that. He must mean this girl named Meira. She looks exactly like that girl he was describing to me. I was in love with him at once until I met Luther. I owe him the favor of saving his love from capture and I can't turn my blade against my love either. Dammit, father and mother will call me a disgrace to the family. They'll no longer welcome me in the House of Ingrassia if I turn against the Guardia Kingdom.

Razhard looked over toward Luther and was a bit annoyed that he would betray him. LUTHER! I KNEW IT!" He yelled as he also saw Chloris was rather hesitant about what she was going to do. Luther's only reply was, "I don't care if you knew my action all along or not. You are a fool that allows yourself to be used as a pawn. I've just exploited that fact when I used you for my own personal reasons." There was truth to Luther's words. Luther had no real loyalty toward Razhard and used him to determine where his sister was. That was all he cared about. The people of Guardia and the greedy nobles he didn't give a damn about. The nation was so corrupt that he couldn't care anymore. There was no way he was going to allow anyone to use him as a pawn which was a fact.

Razhard casually shifted his eyes and focused more of his attention over in her direction and reminded her, "Chloris you are a member of House Ingrassia. You have a sworn duty to uphold your allegiance toward the Guardia Kingdom and honor your family name. Would you abandon all that honor and shame your family name for these people you do not know?" Alicia stepped in and added toward what her brother had said, "You owe the Guardia family a lot, Chloris. We saved your family from being pursued by the Glasfords. We also helped cause Vandalin the Lightning Flash to pull back with his brother Faber. If it weren't for us, your family would be dead."

"Do you honestly believe I care about what my mother and father want? Though I love both of them dearly, I will do what my heart wants. I also owe it to a man who saved me from pirates that entrusted me with this sword a debt I plan to repay. I'll protect Princess Meira Finathia-Valdaria Rystaliuskal. I owe it to Lucent'phelias Xanathare and since I bear the holy blood of Elan I will not be in league with an evil temptress who plays the king as her own pawn."

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT MY BROTHER!" Alicia protested not liking the choice Chloris was making. She not only betrayed her only family, but she insulted her own brother in front of her eyes.

"So you would throw everything away for petty things such as debts that you owe?" Razhard questioned toward Chloris disappointed in her answer. He wasn't entirely surprised that his own Regal Guard turned against him. Aira had informed him that they were both using him for their own ends and she was right. He had no reason not to trust her since everything she said was starting to come to the truth of reality. Luther's betrayal wasn't any surprise either. He was a member of the Windgrace nation and he had already been told by Armand of the Provance House that Luther was just using the nation to find his long lost sister Lenna who was working with the Vashuna Mercenaries. He reached behind his throne and grabbed out his holy weapon the Spear of Salvation Daeslurph.

"We need to leave and quickly. Our swords are no match for that spear." Siia reminded them as she turned toward Luther to see what he was up to. He reminded her that he needed a little more time to complete the process of his spell. If he had to he would use the power of Phantasma Magorias to buy himself time.

"I will challenge your worthless swords with Daeslurph. No sword is any match for this spear." He reminded the girls as he let it rest on the ground. He was ready to take on any of the girls if they wanted to challenge him. Even the famous Broniac of obscure legend held no power compared to the spear he held.

Chloris remembered what Razhard asked her earlier and her response was, "I'll do what I believe is right. I don't give a damn if the Guardia family saved my family. I do owe them my gratitude, but that is all. Only a coward holds it against someone for choosing their own path. Not only a coward, but also a fool who doesn't understand people fight for their own reasons. If I must tarnish the honor of my family then so be it. I don't give a damn about continuing to serve this nation that is so corrupt there is no salvation for it as long as that wretch controls the King's actions. I will also remain by Luther's side until I die and I will repay Lucent for his kindness he's shown me. I owe him that much. Obligation toward my family does not outweigh those. You can brand me a traitor and accuse me of treason and conspiring against the Kingdom of Guardia, but I will do what I feel is right. Siding with Guardia as long as that witch is in control is not what my heart believes in right. I will free Razhard from her control one day. But for now, to honor Lucent, I will pledge my blade and its services to Princess Meira. As a descendant of the Saviors of Light I'm sure she'll shed light onto the darkness of this situation." Those were Chloris final words before she placed her second hand on her claymore.

Luther had finally finished his teleportation spell where they all vanished in a blink of light reappearing in the town near a tavern. Meira sighed in relief as they were finally safe for now, but now wasn't the time to be resting. Surely the King would send his men after them so they had to get out of the capital and fast. "I don't know why either of you betrayed Razhard, but you have my thanks." Meira said as she thanked both Luther and Chloris for assisting them in their escape.

Luther reminded the group, "We don't have time to stand around here. Armand and the other houses will soon be looking for us. We must get out of Ereis Eisan as soon as possible. I have an idea of where we can rest within the Guardia nation since the person controlling that area is a friend of mine."

'Luther?" Ranathia asked the blue haired man when he started walking as she followed the rest of the group. "Why did you turn against Guardia?"

"I never had any allegiance toward Guardia. I used them to look for my sister. That is all you need to know." He said in a cold tone as he tried to avoid from talking as he lead the group toward where Meira's pegasus knights were waiting so they could at least get some units to help with their escape.

"Are we headed toward my pegasus knights?" Meira asked as she followed Luther through the town remaining to keep her eyes out for any soldiers who were pursuing them. She knew they couldn't start to run since it would give the guards suspicion, but they also tried to remain a fast pace as not to spend too much time while they were being pursued by the King's men.

"Yes." Luther answered as he lead them across a bridge then used his magic to destroy the bridge to prevent the soldiers from catching up. He flipped open his book and recited words in ancient text where he shot a crimson red lightning bolt from his hand which pulverized the bridge laying it in ruin as it fell into the canal and broken shards of it laid limp against the concrete wall of the canal. He put his book away afterward and told everyone to start to move faster, because that probably caught the entire guards attention. He had to prevent the cavalry units from crossing so he had no choice. The red lightning bolt that let off a loud crackle, echoed in the area causing the townspeople to run away in fear after they saw and heard it. The commotion within the people would give them ample time to make their escape. Since the people were in duress, it would make it a lot easier to flee the city. Their distraction would help slow down the soldiers as well. When he destroyed the bridge, a couple of soldiers saw him and asked what he was doing. He decided to tell the group it was time to run where they also pursued after the group. "Stop them!" The soldiers yelled in town as they started to pursue after the group. The screams and panic of the townspeople slowed them down though.

Meanwhile back in the throne room, Armand and his group entered the room to analyze the situation. Razhard ordered Armand to take his men and pursue after the fugitives who fled the castle. He also told him he better take his Archknights to destroy Meira's Windgracian Pegasus Knights. Armand nodded saying nothing as he left the room. He turned toward Corraidhin, "I want you and some of my men to enter the city and search for those people. I want you to bring me the three ladies back alive. Don't harm them anymore than you have to. If they refuse to surrender and fight back incapacitate them. Make sure they are placed in chains since they are troublesome. The pink haired girl and the two raven haired women. Persuade the others to surrender, but if they resist then kill them. Bring me their holy weapons after you kill them along with those three girls." He ordered Corraidhin giving him his first task. He was confident that he could fulfill it without fail. "Do not fail me!" With that he turned his attention back toward Aira. What she had said was correct. She had predicted what was going to happen from the very beginning and trusting her was the greatest of his choices.

"I was wrong to doubt you." He said toward Aira as he sat down in his throne seat with Daeslurph resting in his lap. "As compensation, I will lift the ban of Archant in Xi and allow your people to use it. The ban here will be lifted as well. If the nobles protest over this then I'll show them who is ruler. If those fools from Seinadare think they can defy me I'll crush them with an iron fist!" He grinned and started to laugh hysterically. It looked like Aira had fully managed to manipulate Razhard under her full control.

"Daeslurph will destroy anyone who dares oppose us!"

Guardia Kingdom, not exactly the best place to be at the moment, but he still decided to visit when he heard Meira was heading over. He blamed it on the promise he made to Meira's mother when he was a little distracted. However, this time, it wasn't a chore or annoying as he noticed Siia was following Meira and her friend before they went into the castle on top of that, there was a large gathering of holy weapons in the castle, which also cause a resonance that flared his senses towards the nearby Divine Equipments. He was about to find a way to sneak into the castle when he noticed that there was one equipment that was away from the rest, not only that, the direction meant that it was currently in the Common Quarter of the capital. Curious, Whizzle changed his direction from sneaking into the castle and started to head over the lone Divine Equipments holder. His path took him to a tavern, empty during the hour except for several drunkards, travelers and some exceptions. His sight fall on one of the customer, a thin teenage boy barely into his adulthood that wouldn't look out of place if he was working. Now, how would he try to approach this person. The boy looked twitchy and awkward enough that Whizzle was sure that if he was to approach directly the boy would either run soon after or ignore him completely. Meaning he'll either have to say that he's harmless or be seen as one. Deciding his action, Whizzle approached the boy, although not before altering his form to that of the first harmless person of the same age bracket as the boy in his head, Alice. Reaching for a chair, Whizzle took a seat right beside Fenrir. She paused for a bit before looking at Fenrir as if something caught her attention.

"Hello, are you a traveler?" Whizzle asked in a perfect imitation of Alice's voice.

"Boy. That escalated quickly. I mean that really got out of hand fast" Nathan mused as he walked along the bridge with the others "hell. I'm still not sure what just happened. There were so many people in there that I've never even heard of...or at least I didn't remember their names. But man, It looked like everything was going to be okay but then" he snapped "it all just took a nose dive. That's the last time I ever get into politics. I'm really glad I'm not royalty, I might just cut off my own head if I found myself in charge of a kingdom." Taking some time to wipe the blood off of his still bleeding wrist, he continued "but geez. This is not how I saw my day going at all. It does kind of bug me how arrogant that king is about his spear though." He was broken out of his musings when the others began to run

"Stop them!" he heard a group of soldier yell.

Channeling Ki to his legs, he took a massive jump to catch up with the others. Then using Wind Magic slowed his decent, making him glide with the momentum of his jump towards the others. However, something was till bothering him "what was that crazy lady talking about when she mentioned a Dragonia kingdom? Is there really an entire nation of Dragonites? I really don't like the thought of that"

"Yes my liege" said Corraidhin as he left for the door. Razhard's orders were quite confusing to him. He led the troops through the castle, muttering as he planned his course of action. "Don't kill the sexy ones, do kill the creepy-bitchy ones and their not so creepy husbands, and the halfbreed, unless you can tell them that they don't need to die, which is the most unlikely situation for the halfbreed, and bring the holy weapons once you've killed the not-sexy ones and kidnapped the sexy ones." They emerged from the palace and into the bustling streets of Windgrace. "Right, so if I was a creepy mage where would i go?" Suddenly, a bridge down the street cracked in two. "That's where" he said, and he led the soldiers toward the bridge. He got there just in time to see his prey running through the crowd on the other side. "Damn! No use following them this way." They ran along the side of the canal looking for another bridge. At long last they found one and made their way across it.

"What the hell? Dragon Knights?" The soldiers questioned as they saw a group of Dragon Knights flocking around the city of Ereis Eisan. Another group of soldiers managed to head the group off and block their advanced. Each one of them assembled themselves in a formation would wouldn't allow Meira and her group to advance any further forward where they were armed with mostly swords and spears.

"Damn!" Meira exclaimed as she and the rest of her group stopped in the middle of the town seeing the soldiers had blocked their advance forward. She wasn't sure what to do since the only way to get passed them was either to go right through them or to take one of the alleys and find a side street that wasn't heavily guarded by Razhard's men. One thing for was for sure, getting out of the large capital wasn't going to be easy, but the people scurrying after Luther destroyed the bridge managed to block enough of the soldiers view where they couldn't see Meira and her companions.

Luther examined the area knowing like Meira that advancing forward through that heavily guarded now area was going to be impossible without taking casualties. He also noticed that the individual who invaded the castle earlier had caught up to the group. He was pretty sure that the King ordered the man to chase after them. With him being a magic user like Luther, he would provide problems for them. He also noticed in the sky that there were Dragon Knights that soared in the sky. They didn't bear the Guardia banner though and archers from Guardia were starting to array and were going to go on a counter offensive of those knights attacked. He did notice the golden shield with several golden stars arrayed in a v formation which indicated that these were mercenaries. Not only that, he knew that banner better than anyone. They were the Vashuna Mercenaries hired by the Windgracian nation. Perhaps his luck had paid off in using Razhard after all. He remembered someone telling him that his sister employed in the Vashuna Mercenaries so if those Dragon Knights were here, that meant she wasn't far from them.

Ranathia was concerned why Luther was buying his pretty time looking for another way. She looked over in his direction and asked him to speed things along. She then learned that he might have found his sister. She thought that was nice and all, but now wasn't the time to dawdle. Luther's hesitation allowed the soldiers along with the other man to catch up to their group. "Luther, what is taking so long?" She questioned once again wanting to know why Luther was taking his pretty time trying to find an alley for them to slip into. If he wasted too much time he'd give the Guardian Army time to surround them.

The soldiers that blocked their advance were suddenly bulled over in surprised by a reddish white winged horse that sprinted toward Meira's direction. It was her pegasus Scarlet and right behind her were her pegasus were her Pegasus Knights gliding in the air and another pegasus that ran in the direction of Siia and a black stallion that ran over toward Ranathia. Both Siia and Ranathia boarded their mounts and pulled themselves alongside Meira. Siia moved her pegasus toward Luther's direction and held her hand out where he grabbed it and climbed on. Ranathia did the same for Chloris who boarded her mount. While that was all happening a blue haired girl wearing skimpy bikini armor soared downward on her dragon meeting up with the group where she announced herself, "We are the Vashuna Mercenaries. Under Queen Erialyss orders we are to safely escort the princess. If any of you dare stand in the way of my group, you will be cut down!" She yelled as she drew her golden spear with a ruby in the center of it into her hand. Luther was relieved to find his sister, but would save his questions for later.

While Meira moved her pegasus over to lift Nathan up onto it she looked at Corraidhin then drew her sword into her hand. She wanted to know why he was working for the King when he was being controlled by such a horrible person. Her Pegasus Knights assembled around her where a purple haired girl asked if she was okay and she just nodded at the girl. She after she spoke to the purple haired girl on her white pegasus turned her attention toward the man she wanted to question. "Why is it that you fight for the King when he is being controlled by such a loathsome woman? Do you have no honor? That woman cares nothing about the people of this nation and only herself. Why be in the service to help that witch?"

"I am Meira Rystaliuskal and this sword is the Blade of Light!" She paused for a moment as she caused her pegasus to incline itself upward standing only on its two feet. "I am the Holy Elian Crusader of Euphoria. The sword I hold in my grasp is Meleitling. I am a Savior of the Radiance and Twilight and you will not stand in my way! If I cannot persuade you to change your alliance then I'll cut my way through the Guardian forces so that I can leave the capital! If you get in my way, I will cut you asunder with the thunder in this blade!" Meira yelled as she held her sword high in the air flashing it at Corraidhin. Her sense of leadership boosted the morale of not only her Pegasus Knights, but also the blue haired girl's Dragon Knight group.

"Princess Meira, we are yours to command." The purple haired girl said as she positioned herself around Meira's group to ensure that they would make it through safely even if they had to pierce right through the soldiers since Ranathia was riding a horse so she couldn't fly. "Same here." The blue hair girl added as she aligned her dragon knights with Meira's pegasus group. Lenna and her mercenary group positioned the dragons they were riding alongside Meira's Pegasus Knights.

Nathan found his eyes drawn to the blue haired girl armor...or rather how bad it was 'geez. That thing barely covers anything. She might as well not be wearing any armor at all' He found the idea that not only did someone think making such armor was a good idea, but that someone also thought that wearing it was also a good idea. Shelving that thought for another time, he climbed up onto Meria's mount, feeling very uncomfortable riding a living creature. As Meria drew her sword and began her speech, Nathan had to repress a sigh; he found it rather irksome when people bragged about their weapons. He much rather put his faith in his strength of body and magic. In fact, the only reason he kept his swords was because they were all he had left of his parents. The only reason he even knew how to use swords was to justify keeping them. "Should...should I just blow them away? It's the most non-lethal way for me to get them out of our way as fast as possible" he asked Meria

Fenrir looked at the strange girl up and down, "Go away." he said. He was drinking some water, but only because it was free. He smelled something off about the girl but was to depressed to figure out what. "Now, just go away and leave me alone. You don't want to anger me if you want to see tomorrow." he said, then letting a wolfish snarl escape his mouth. He wasn't in the mood to be disturbed.

Aira bowed and said, "Thank you my king." she said walking over to him. She glared at Daesluprh with a hateful look, and then looked away to not look to suspicious. "As thanks for lifting the ban on mana for our people, I would like to gift you this, as a thanks for your many gifts." she said, revealing a veil of glowing golden liquid from her robe. "It was brewed my father and this potion is said to be the mark of a true apothecary master. It is said to give health and luck to whoever drinks it. I was saving it as a reminder of home, but you deserve it for removing that horrid ban." she said.

Whizzle flinched as if Fenrir's words had scared her. Fenrir's harsh words was to be expected after all but she can't just push on even if she suspect that the warning was more than she should expect otherwise. She had to choose her move wisely if she wanted to take a look or talk about the Divine Equipment that the boy has. Of course, she could always try to offend him that he would then drew it out, but the effort of trying not to get hurt or killed by the Equipment would probably be too much. Whizzle looked at the glass of water in front of Fenrir and considered something.

"Umm, I could buy you something?" Whizzle said uncertainly. If there was one thing that Whizzle had learned about travelers, it was that they would never turn down free meals. They might get suspicious, but never turn one down. And Whizzle was sure that Alice's face was at least sincere looking enough to put down the suspicion.
