Usernames are constrained to ASCII (keys on most keyboards) so that I can have some sort of [@Cordi] BBCode for "mentions" and so that you can actually type in names into the New Convo box.

Allowing special characters turns out to be more trouble than it's worth for these reasons. :(

:( well thanks for getting back to me Mahz. I'm sure I'll figure out a way to cope. Preferably with copious amounts of oversex.
