At least we wont waste time with trying to convince anyone to play Assassin, lol
I have many creative ideas for Assassin class.
It's just that the Berserker class I made was long overdue.
Same for my master.

Master sheet is finished

Name: Brecht Strongarm
Age: Late 20s
magic specialization: Vibration-based thaumaturgy

Biography: MURIKA (United States Government secret agent codename: F.R.E.E.D.O.M . Brecht was orphaned during a glorious, sanctioned, AMERICAN related war and taken in by a military commander. He was raised from an early age to undergo the most rigorous mental/physical training unsuitable for even adults; all in order for him to become a super soldier. By the age of 14 even the force 10 or 20 men could not so much as deter him. Various medical tests lead private doctors to question why muscular dystrophy had yet to occur, Brecht replied by smashing their heads against the wall and stating "Such nonsense is un-AMERICAN and therefore unnecessary" It was then understood that the concept was very clearly discarded and done away with under the unyielding might of PATRIOTISM. Once the boy reached 18, he was enlisted as a government officer to be sent on only the most covert operations, his methods whoever, were not so subtle. Brecht considered any obstacle standing in the way of victory a threat that needed to be neutralized with extreme prejudice. Strangely enough, he had never taken a life, merely beaten his enemies into submission and giving them the option to Live Free or have their balls crushed like a filthy commie, naturally the answer was always the same. Despite Brecht's unwillingness to kill, his victims didn't always come out unscathed, Some were diagnosed with severe injuries such as: Indefinite comas, loss of control over bodily functions etc. His brutality became legendary and was feared by even his superior officers, the rumors of the soldier possessing strange powers only added to the turmoil. Too dangerous to be let out in public, Brecht was isolated to his living quarters and was only let out during missions, eventually gaining the nickname "Mad Dog" - one he despised, he already had a codename, ironic it may have been, he needed no other.

Years later, a set of red markings appeared on his arm. After filing a report, he was payed an abrupt visit by the director of the CIA. The man claimed the markings signified something of great interest to the AMERICAN government, a phenomenon they had been secretly observing for some time. Something about a war between Heroic spirits and "preparations" that needed to be made. The very prospect of this mission sounded ridiculous however there wasn't the slightest bit of hesitation for there was nothing this man wouldn't do to preserve the glory of his beloved AMERICA)

Appearance:

Any other stuff you want to add in (height and all that stuff): Height is 6'6 Likes drinking, Despite what his appearance may suggest, he's not one to prioritize brawn over brains.

Limiting stat points is probably the most retarded idea I heard for a Holy Grail War scenario.
Stats themselves only play a minor role in FSN and Servants regularly handle others with higher parameters.
It's more important to determine the said hero's style if anything.
The actual battles are determined by special skills, noble phantasms and other such abilities interacting with each other.

You worry about Munchkins that max out all the parameters?
Don't be.
You should only use stats that make sense. Nothing more but nothing less.
For example 15 points is actually way too much for any real Assassin class Servant to have.
Don't add extra points just because it may give you a minor advantage. This is roleplaying. Not a fuckin' videogame.
On the other hand I can barely count any decent Knightly class Servant which you can recreate by only 15 points worth of parameters.
Hell, you can't even make a so-called "average Servant" as it was described by Nasu. That'd need about 18 points.
So yeah, excuse me but I'm going to royally shit on this system.
Same with skills.
Instead of limiting by points it'd be better to comprehend what a character with all of their skills and Noble Phantasms can do and then evaluate everything based on this.
If the mix of all the various abilities are too broken, ask the player to revisit their Servant.
If it isn't, just roll with it.
If certain abilities and skills don't make sense given the Servant's history, then you're back to the drawing board again.
Really, use your brains people.

Anyways, time to post my Master:

Name: Johnatan Curtis
Age : 26
Gender: Male
Nationality: British
Occupation: Traveling Salesman (Magus)
Magic Specialization: Spiritual magic (capture, usage and exorcism of spirits or minor phantasmal creatures)
Short Bio:
5th line Magus of a family renowned for their spirit exorcism. Originally they were a Hungarian family called "Kertész" they emigrated to the British Isles after the failed revolution in 1849. Renamed themselves "Curtis" they continued their pursue of spiritual, a gift that can be traced back to their distant "táltos" ancestors. In spite of his age Johnatan has exceptional knowledge about spirits and traveled most of the world. He always loved history and mythology so when Johnatan heard about the Grail War in Fuyuki he was instantly taken over by the idea of summoning heroes from the past. He spent a whole year to search for the right catalyst. His efforts were rewarded with the master's mark appearing on his arm just before the Grail War began. Johnatan prepared for the summons but accidentally he called the Berserker class. Feeling cheated to have a Servant that can barely speak Johnatan is dedicated to meet the other six quickly.

Stats does play a relatively role with using certain special skills and NP abilites... medusa mystic eyes you have to pass a stat check to be affected by it... God hand also uses the parameters when determining its effectiveness. You can say its kind of a check and balance system when certain abilities are use and if used in an RP, its actually a great way to introduce a minor check and balance system to prevent shit from going overboard.

There is some importance to them, yes.
Although your example is only correct with Medusa's eyes of petrification (and even then technically that decription is BS given what happened to others).
God Hand needs A or maybe even B+ rank Noble Phantasms to pierce it, nothing else can get through.

Also a "balance system" which is completely ignorant to the setting is only hurting the game.
Like I said, 15 points is too much for Assassin class, maybe about right for certain less powered Servants and utterly inadequate for anything at the level of "average Servant" or above.
It doesn't work.
Just use your damn common sense and you're done.
If somebody tries to abuse the system then just have the damned brain to notice it.
Thing's simple as fuck.

...Where the hell did you get that?
I can buy the idea of A rank attacks shaving off one life from Berserker before he adapts.
But there's absolutely no mention of 12 A-rank strenght normal attacks equating the loss of one life from God Hand's stock.

I edit that last part, I couldn't remember if it took a number of hits for him to be affected my A level statistically but I look it up on the wiki:

The ability requires that Berserker must be killed by A rank attacks twelve times, once for each of the labors, before he can be defeated. He can only be killed by someone with an A rank strength statistic, A rank magecraft, or an A rank Noble Phantasm

Then you just failed at the reading comprehension roll check.
Berserker must be killed 12 times, yes.
He also adapts to any attack which killed him.
There's no mention of 12 A-rank strength normals equating to taking one life.
Really, Byrd.
Have you only woken up just recently?

You must miss the point where I said I edited it, that was from memory. I had to check to wiki to verify tho, its been about 2 years since I read Fate/Extra. So technically you can damage him if you have A level strength but he will adapt to it.

My main point was that you don't only need A level NPs or abilities to damage him... you can do it physically if you have A level strength

Well, you can.
I can't see why were you even arguing about something which I also stated.
Anyways, Servant parameters are quite meaningless compared to what kind of abilities you can have.
Having full A stats is nice but it's meaningless if you have no special abilities aside from being a good fighter and the enemy has a one-hit killing move.
That's the point.
Such concept for limiting the stats points you can allocate may work for many other RPs.
It does for Es' mecha RPG.
But it doesn't work for a HGW game.

Im not saying parameters are as important as special abilities and NPs... I was just stating they have a minor role with certain abilities.
