That night Jemma dreamt about that day her and Jasper were playing in the garden, up until the part where she pricked her finger, it just kept replaying in her head. It was a memory she was fond of, and her brother still had the flower she gave him, same with Rune. Before the dream could replay in her head she felt something nudge her foot and someone spoke to her, bringing her out of her unconscious state. “Wh…what, huh?” She sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes. “What’d I do?” Her subconscious knew it was Jasper before she realized it, and to her, Jasper being there that early could only mean she had done something wrong. When she actually looked at him she realized that he shouldn’t be there.

“Jasper, what are you doing?? You can’t be in here, aren’t you worried about getting in trouble?” She questioned. Jemma leapt out of bed and urged him toward the door. “What are you doing here so early? Is the sun even up yet? A proper prince should knock and wait for the young lady to open the door… or something of that nature…” This of course was somewhat true, she wasn’t exactly sure, it was early and she was rambling. It was obvious the trip to Iglasia had completely slipped her mind.

Jasper snickered and walked away from the bed standing tall and firm, examining her changes to the room, "Please, the only person who would tell me otherwise is father, and I don't think he cares much, plus the maid wasn't going to wake you and you seem to sleep in quite often," he started looking at her books and pulling one out, reading the cover. "Get ready, wear something light and thin, it's going to be hot where we're going, I'll send in a maid to help you, we leave within the hour." He started for the door and placed his hand on the handle before looking back at her, "Oh and good morning Jemma," he smiled and left the room without another word, he made his point clear and if she wanted to come she was going to have to deal with this nature of orders, she most likely hasn't been to the royal part of Iglasia so things will be different between the twins for a short time.

He called over the nearest maiden and sent her in to quickly dress the Golden Princess and prepare her for today's events, meanwhile he found his personal maid waiting for him just down the hall with his rapier, he smiled and gently took it from her hands and clasped it to his belt, "Thank you, can you please head down to the kitchen and grab a few biscuits and shortcakes, the Princess and I are going to have a long journey and need to start right away, food is a necessity on this trip." The maid smiled and nodded before heading downstairs, Jasper looked around with one hand on the hilt of his blade before smiling and taking a step towards the front door and exiting the castle, he stepped into the carriage with a butler holding the door open and awaited his sister's arrival.

She listened and watched as he moved throughout her room, examining her things. He reminded her about getting ready for them to go. “Oh that’s right! I forgot about going to Iglasia, don’t worry Jasper, I’ll be ready as soon as I can and meet you outside the castle” Jemma didn’t wait for him to leave, instead she went toward her wardrobe to change; but she looked back as he said good morning, then he was gone. Her cheeks flushed pink a little, it made her so happy the little things that her brother did for her that he wouldn’t have when she first came back from her long journey with Rune. A minute or so after he left a maid hurried in to help her get dressed, she shook her head and thanked the maid, requesting that the maid allow her to get ready on her own. The maid did as she was asked, curtsied and left the princess with the reminder that if she needed anything at all, she need but ask and she would have help.

Jemma wore a light flowing shimmering gold dress that went down a little passed her knees and the collar a square shape as to not reveal too much skin. The sleeves were quarter cut to her elbows and loose, not tight like her other dresses’ sleeves. There was a thick black bow on the back that she tied neatly on her own. “There, now Jasper can be proud of me” The princess finished the look with fancy golden sandals that tied up just below her knees that she had gotten from Calorean on her travels, luckily they just barely still fit her. After packing a bag with a few extra clothes she hurried out of her room, being sure to bring her bow and quiver along on her back. She wouldn’t leave Everglenn without it. “Jasper, I’m ready” She smiled as she ran to the carriage that was waiting for them both. “Sorry if you waited long, I tried to be quick, but I’m ready now that’s all that matters right?”

The Golden Prince figured his sister would take longer to get ready but he was wrong, she was out in a decent time and he didn't have to wait long at all. As she got in he responded, "Right," he stuck his head out the window to talk to the coachman, "We're ready, leave the sight of the castle covered by dust," Jasper was in a good mood and that was something he said often to the coachman when he meant to go swiftly and quickly. As the carriage moved he reached for basket of biscuits and shortcakes handing it to Jemma, "here, something to eat while we enjoy the ride. He wasn't that hungry so he left the basket to her hands first, instead he took out the red silk ribbon in hair and his long golden coat so he could be more relaxed and comfortable while on their trip.

Jasper had been to Iglasia many times, and each time a better experience, he mostly went to watch the King perform duties and such but now he was going on his own to represent EverGlenn, Jemma was just a tag along, good company. He started to remember the large palace, greater than their own pearl castle, but not as polished as theirs. He liked the culture, very different, the women were given more freedom and the men weren't always looked at for an order or a wise decision, both sexes were equally involved. Which is why his favorite opponent in dueling was the Princess, the only female in Azarath who participates in the Dueling Championship. The Dueling Championship is a league of royal figures that aren't running a country, such as Princes and Princesses, they come from each country in the alliance and duel for the title, the past winners were mostly all in Calorean, EverGlenn has yet to have a title holder, which is what drives Prince Jasper to train harder and be the first. The participants are given a shot at the title every year, but only when they turn sixteen, the duels before that age are mainly practice and training, or for fun. Jasper will have his first shot this year, same with the Princess of Iglasia, but the Prince of Calorean has held the title for three years now and hasn't lost since. Jasper see's the age difference as a small barrier and something to easily pass through, it's all about skill to him, not so much experience.

Delighted, the young princess gratefully took a shortcake from the basket and nibbled on it. She knew better than to scarf down food since it was unladylike, but she didn't mind, she wanted to enjoy the first food she'd had all morning. The small cakes made by their baker were always delicious and she could eat them all the time. "Thank you, Jasper, you're so good to me" Jemma smiled at her brother with lots of love. Her smile faded a little when she saw the ribbon he took out of his hair, their mother's ribbon. Often times, Princess Jemma tried hard not to think about their mother's passing. Even though she wasn't there she could imagine it vividly and it hurt very bad. Jemma missed her mother, she never got to know her as well as she would have liked too, and she had no mother to teach her the proper lady. There was no maternal figure around to help her get through her rough teenage years. But it was okay, she had Rune, her father, and Jasper if she needed anything.

She watched the landscape change as they got further from home and closer to Iglasia. The land became flatter and more grassy, she loved it. As much as she loved Everglenn it was always nice to be able to escape, especially considering she was so used to being on the road. Jemma wasn't sure how much time had passed, but somewhere along the way she had fallen asleep with her head against one of the inside walls of the carriage. By the time they arrived she was all drowsy again like when Jasper had woken her up at the castle. "...Have we made it to Iglasia, Jasp?" She asked tiredly.

Jasper sat calmly as he watched the horizon change from a kingdom engulfed by mountains to a country born on flat land. He liked Iglasia, it was a good different to him, well he didn't like different that much but visiting the country so many times he got used to it. Jemma awoke from her slumber and the sun was starting to fall down, the trip was just about over and they were entering the main city, "Yes, we're approaching the capital city, I suggest you adjust your attire back to its proper formality," he smiled at her before taking the red silk ribbon out of his pocket and putting his long hair back, after firmly tying it he put on his long golden coat that was trimmed and patterned with a pearl colored string. As the carriage went through the city people stared left and right, not having seen such a decorated carriage, jewels and polished materials were not popular in Iglasia, even for the royal family. They neared the palace and the uniformed guards started to fall in their formation to help escort the Golden Twins.

Jasper could see the surprise in his sister's eyes, his guess was right and she had never been to the royal palace, he had to make sure she knew what not to do, he knew she would behave of course but as a responsible brother and a representative of EverGlenn, he had to make sure their image was appropriate and the impression was still good. "Jemma, in this palace the women have as much freedom as the men do, it is your decision to act and behave on behalf of EverGlenn, representing your Kingdom in the manners that we live in, but you may also act and behave freely just as they do, the impression will not change between our country and theirs, they see it as a compliment that we adjust to their living, but if there is one thing I ask you not to do, is to correct them in anyway, even if they are absolutely wrong, do not correct them, if you think the women shouldn't behave the way they do because that's not how we have our women behave, do not correct them, we respect the way they live and they respect us, so please do not be arrogant or single minded, but I know you won't," he smiled at her reassuringly before looking out the door as it was opened and he stepped out, spotting the royal family by the main door, which was much smaller than their own castle. He waited for Jemma to exit holding out his arm to escort her towards the palace and bowed before the family, "Jasper Hetterwood, Prince of EverGlenn," he paused to let his twin introduce herself, something that was not regularly custom to EverGlenn but it would give her a start on getting used to the ways of Iglasia, "I'm here to represent the Kingdom of EverGlenn in my father's place, King Mitus, he has given me the responsibility and this letter to confirm it," he handed the letter to the guard and it was handed to the King before the Golden Twins were accepted and allowed inside. That was one thing Jasper forgot to mention to his sister, the royal family is never handed stuff directly, always to a guard first, just a custom, he hoped she wouldn't be handing anything over, but he didn't worry too much on it.

Jemma listened to her brother while also staring in awe and a bit of surprise at the beauty and difference of the Iglasian castle. Although much smaller in size it was still magnificent in it’s own way. Jasper’s advice was very helpful and much appreciated since she had never really met the royal family of Iglasia before or even been near the royal gates. Quickly the Princess of Everglenn straightened out and smoothed her dress so it looked as it did when she first put it on. Her brother escorted her to the bottom of the steps below where the royal family was standing. He bowed and introduced himself in which she followed suit, curtseying and stating her name and position, “Jemma Hetterwood, Princess of Everglenn” The young princess made sure to do as her brother told her and do as he did with everything because she did not want to mess this up for him or cause any trouble.

She watched as he spoke, he gave off a strong and confident vibe that she wished she could imitate in the face of these other royals. Once they were accepted inside Jemma tried to contain herself as she ogled at the lovely inner parts of the castle. Jasper was asked to speak with the King and his advisors alone while Jemma was to be shown around the castle, as a courtesy.

Jemma smiled and nodded at her brother before they parted ways, she was a bit nervous about being on her own in uncharted territory but she’d trust her instincts and everything would undoubtedly be alright. After all she was a Hetterwood, a royal, she knew how to hold her own as a Princess. A handsome older boy, whom she recognized as the Prince that defeated Jasper in a duel those years ago, came up to her with a warm smile on his face. “Good evening, Princess Jemma, I’m Prince Fiyori, I’ll be your escort around the castle. I can’t wait for you to see the wonders of my home”

Jemma was surprised when he came up to her but she didn’t let it show, without hesitation she curtseyed at the Prince. “Thank you, your highness, for doing this for a foreigner like me” She commented. Fiyori gently lifted her head and straightened her poster. “You needn’t be so formal, Jemma. I’m sure your brother told you how things work around here. You and I are equals.” A slight blush could be seen on the Princess’s face. “Oh okay, thank you, Prince Fiyori”

Jasper stepped inside following the family, this was the part where they went separate ways, he knew she would be alright, the people here are kind and the guards are well trained and equipped, nothing bad should happen to her. "Jasper, please come this way, I want to speak to you and my advisers about a couple things before dinner," The King spoke to the Golden Prince. The King is a very opened minded man, with a curly black beard and a large stomach, he was kind in every way, but his war strategies were of the most violent, a man of many faces. Jasper nodded in response to the King before looking at his sister and smiling, hoping it reassured her safety to be away from him. The King started to talk after awhile of walking down the hall, this seemed more like a small short walk that would provide privacy and enough time to discuss immediate matters. "My Prince, I am glad that you are taking responsibility in such matters now, you have grown with your age and I am honored and pleased to work with you."

Jasper smiled and looked back towards the King, "Thank you, I'll admit I have changed a lot since I was younger, I have my sister to thank for that, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for her, so I too am pleased to be working with you.

The King laughed a little, "Women always have a way of changing men," he grabbed the Princes shoulder and shook like they were best friends before letting go and continuing on with business, "But now is not the time for chit chat, we have things to discuss, I hope you have been informed of what me and your father have discussed in the past?"

"Yes, he has, I am fully aware of our current trade agreement and alliance."

"Good Good, that saves a lot of time, my city is currently running roughly, we have more bandit occurrences in the past couple months, lowering our stock and supplies, our food levels are acceptable but not great, we'll live but we can't take another hit from the bandits. Now I understand your father, I mean, EverGlenn has requested some soldiers for a constant defense against Zanonia, I want to help, but losing men gives us a higher risk at losing our supplies. If you have something to offer now is the time to give, this is, as you know, an urgent issue." The King walked silently allowing the Golden Prince to think before speaking.

Jasper narrowed his eyebrows, tucking an arm around his chest and resting his other elbow on it so his chin was on his hand as they walked, "I must say that is very unfortunate and I'm sorry for your loses, we do have an outpost near our borders, we've made for instances where our neighbors have lost supplies, though since it is new, there isn't much but it may suffice for a couple days, that may not seem like enough but I am willing to offer one more thing that you would be interested in," he strictly remembers how Iglasians love titles, "I will play handicap against any of your sons during the Dueling Championship this year, you of all people should know I'm a high threatening duelist along with the Calorean, this would give your sons an extreme advantage against me, giving them a stronger chance at the title for Champion, if they can manage that is," The Prince held a greedy but friendly smile, a little gamble and for fun as well, the city still gets their supplies but to put the cherry on top, he sweetened the deal with a handicap.

The King stopped in his tracks and thought about it for a bit, seeing the ups and downs, if it would be worth or not, and if his sons would be able to manage for such a title...

~~~~~
Fiyori smiled at the Princess before lifting his arm in the direction that they would be walking, away from the small meeting, "Not a problem." He walked with her side by side down the halls, the walls were of a basic but durable stone, similar to a clay like material but it was also fancier than basic houses in the area. There were paintings hung up almost everywhere, pots and plants decorated the floors and low ceilings, their colors were vibrant and relaxing, made anybody feel like they were home. "So Princess, tell me, where have you been all those years, tell me of your adventures, I heard about your disappearance and then your return, I was rather happy to hear that, and curious about what your did. He continued to escort her around, showing her each room and telling her some history while still continuing to ask her personal questions.
Jemma walked at an even pace with Prince Fiyori, though it was unusual for her not to be hustling about. She was glad that the one who had once defeated her brother was a gracious man and not an arrogant fool like many royals. As she stuck with him, her arm in his, she admired the scenery and wished that her home was a bit more humble like this one. The prince spoke, pulling her out of her thoughts; her gaze, which was once all over, was now rested on him. It was only a matter of time before someone asked about her disappearance and since she wasn't permitted to speak about what really happened, Jemma had to think of an excuse quickly. "You'd like to hear about, my adventures? And where I've been?" Princess Jemma asked without wavering. "My guardian, Rune, was given the task of teaching me in the ways of other cultures, which was the reason I was away from my home for such a long time. It was somewhat experimental, which is why Jasper had to stay behind, to learn the ways of our people and how to be King of EverGlenn someday." It was a poor excuse, but it was an excuse nonetheless. She hated lying to such a kind young man, especially since he was a prince, but it was what had to be done.
From what she saw, it seemed as though he accepted her answer as the truth; Fiyori continued on showing her the castle and all it's beauties, pointing things out and conversating along the way. Jemma heaved a sigh of relief and smiled. "I'm glad I came along with my brother, it is an honor to be able to meet you and your family and see the royal home with my own eyes"
The King smiled big and bright before looking up to the Prince after pondering about the offer, "I think my oldest can manage just fine, he's been training hard lately and has beaten you once before, I accept your offer," he stuck out a hand for Jasper to shake to make the deal official. Food from the outpost and a handicap during the Dueling Championship for a few hundred soldiers.
Jasper smiled and nodded in agreement when the King spoke of his son winning that match before, he agreed in accepting that it was a fair match and he only got arrogant and made a mistake, the win was fair and square, so in the King's eyes there is reason to see why his son would be worthy, "Then it's a deal, I'll send a courier over to EverGlenn immediately to retrieve the food and meet at our borders, the location will be given as well, I on the other hand wish your son the best of luck this year, things have changed," he gave a greedy but friendly grin to the King before continuing the walk around the castle.
The King held his smile, "Great, it shall be a glorious match when the time comes," They walked a bit further before running into then King's oldest Prince and the Princess of EverGlenn. "My son, I have great news for you, this year during the Dueling Championship, Prince Jasper has agreed to fight handicap against you, this will be a stepping stone to your victory for the title," they shared an embrace before the two separated from the group and left the Prince and Princess alone.
Jasper looked at Jemma while the King spoke to his son, giving her a reassuring smile that he knew what he had done and everything was going to be okay. When the King left with Fiyori he stepped up to his sister, "We now have soldiers for Father's war, it was one of the things I was capable of gambling, don't worry though, I'll win that duel, thanks to you my left arm is extremely powerful on its own." He gave her another reassuring smile while placing a hand on her shoulder, "I have to talk to a courier, I'll leave you in the hands of Vince, he's the youngest brother and will keep you company till I return," The Golden Prince left back down the hall and away from everyone.
~~~

(during the final moments of Jasper's and the King's meeting)

Fiyori continued to escort Jemma around the castle, "Of course, we love company and its an honor to have you, the Royalty of EverGlenn are always so elegantly dressed and their belongings decorated with jewels, we love to see such beauty, " he had a curious question about her brother, "How has Jasper been training for the Championship? Does he seem confident for his first run at the title? I assume you know being his sister and probably helping him train." They neared the King and Jasper from around the corner and he kissed her hand before departing, "Ill see you tonight at dinner." He gave her a smile and left with his father into a separate room.

Shortly after the King and Prince entered the room where the other brothers were, Vince stepped out to meet the Princess for the first time, his head a little low as if to hide something on his face, "So your Princess Jemma? Nice to meet you," Vince wasn't big on the formalities or respect towards anyone except those in his family, he's arrogant, rude, and selfish, though he 'tries' to be nice once in awhile. "I guess I'm escorting you to where you and your brother will be staying," he said in a flat tone before gesturing down one hall, "This way." He started walking in front of her, trying to make distance but not to be rude about it. "I hear your brother is going handicap this year, it's Fiyori's third chance and Jasper's first in the Championship, what a stupid mistake, my brother is going to beat the crap out of him, he still hasn't forgiven him for what he did to me all those years ago," he turned to face her and smirked a little as the scar across his eye downward was now clearly visible.

Before seeing Jasper again Jemma was questioned a bit further by Prince Fiyori, which she did not mind. She liked the fact that some one new was speaking to her and was actually interested in what she had to say, it was rather different than back home. In EverGlenn woman did not have much say so and since Jemma did not have a mother to speak to no one really spoke to her or cared to know about what was going on with her or what her opinion was, especially with her guardian so busy as of late. "Jasper has been training quite hard for the Championship, he is confident and ready to dominate" This was how they wanted her to speak she hoped, it was how she would speak when not among important people back home. Jemma loved to fully express herself. When Jasper and the King of Iglasia neared Fiyori kissed her hand politely before leaving her.

lant green said "My son, I have great news for you, this year during the Dueling Championship, Prince Jasper has agreed to fight handicap against you, this will be a stepping stone to your victory for the title," they shared an embrace before the two separated from the group and left the Prince and Princess alone.

Jasper looked at Jemma while the King spoke to his son, giving her a reassuring smile that he knew what he had done and everything was going to be okay. When the King left with Fiyori he stepped up to his sister, "We now have soldiers for Father's war, it was one of the things I was capable of gambling, don't worry though, I'll win that duel, thanks to you my left arm is extremely powerful on its own." He gave her another reassuring smile while placing a hand on her shoulder, "I have to talk to a courier, I'll leave you in the hands of Vince, he's the youngest brother and will keep you company till I return," The Golden Prince left back down the hall and away from everyone.

The young princess kept quiet and listened to The King speak and then leave with his son, what he had to say made her a bit nervous but she had confidence in her brother, he always knew what he was doing. Then Jasper spoke to her and she even more confident in him. He is going to be fine, I know it. When at last Jemma was left on her own another boy came to her, he was younger than anyone she had met yet but not exactly a child. This was the youngest prince, Vince, the way he acted seemed rather stand-off-ish, like he didn't want to be around her. "Thank you for taking the time to show me there" Was all she could think of to say since he wasn't saying much in return.

lant green said "I hear your brother is going handicap this year, it's Fiyori's and Jasper's first year in the Championship, what a stupid mistake, my brother is going to beat the crap out of him, he still hasn't forgiven him for what he did to me all those years ago."

Jemma looked up from her thoughts, the things he said were harsh and unnecessary she gritted her teeth when he showed her the scar. "Jasper did that to you...?" It was hard to believe, but there was something in the back of her mind that knew Jasper was capable of flying off the handle and hurting someone. Princess Jemma stopped in her tracks in the hall way and began to speak in an upset tone, "listen, child, my brother could defeat your brother easily! The only reason he lost that duel years ago was because I interrupted him, he is the best duelist there is and you better not forget it"

Vince halted when he noticed the Princess stop, she said something that made his eye twitch a little in anger. The pride and honor of his brother was shot down and there was no way he could believe it. Fiyori is the best, always will be and he has been training hard, the Calorean son only won cause his brother miss took a couple steps. Small mistakes that costed the duel. Vince could and would only believe that Fiyori was the best dueler out there. He made a face of anger at her and shouted back, "Fiyori will demolish him without your stupid interruption, he's won more duels than Jasper can even count, if you think he's so tough why don't you have him fight tomorrow?!" The young prince was arrogant and very protective of his older brother's skill.

~~~~~
After the Golden Prince spoke to a courier and sent the letter back to King Mitus, he wanted to see if the training hall had any changes, this was where the Dueling Championship was going to be held this year. As he made his way, spotting the old paintings and a few bright plants here and there, he recalled some of his visits here, he couldn't believe how much of a disgrace he was to EverGlenn when he was younger, always mad and angry, not wanting to talk to anyone and only hurt people. But then Jemma came back and things changed, he only focuses on the good memories now.
As he came closer to the door to the training hall he could hear the sound of a steel blade hitting a wooden dummy. He was wondering if it was Jaque training and maybe give him some advice, the strikes seemed a little heavy. Jasper opened the door and stared at the figure who fought the dummy, he shut the door quietly and slowly approached them, they obviously didn't know someone had entered because they were still striking at the dummy. Jasper smiled as he remembered her bright blue hair, long and flowing with the wind and the way she moved, he started to blush a little and controlled his emotions in order to speak, "I see you're still using my old saber that I gave you," he waited for her to turn around and gave he a smile.
Jemma could see the anger in Vince's face and kept her expression straight, she was able to keep her calm in the tense situation, something she was highly skilled at. However, the young princess was rather impulsive and at the mention of a duel for her brother's honor she had to accept. "Alright then, Prince of Iglasia, let it be known that my brother, Jasper of EverGlenn, will participate in a duel against your brother, Fiyori of Iglasia tomorrow at noon. Do we have an agreement?" Holding out her hand, she looked him dead in the eyes. Despite her defensive feelings she was still cordial with the young man.
~~~~~~~

In the modest, but still well-built, dueling arena of the Iglasian royals, Princess Lumina practiced her attacks for the upcoming Dueling Championship. Beneath her the wooden flooring shined underneath the nicks and slash marks from all the training, around her the high walls of stone stood tall with their light grey hue and detailed engravings. Swiftly the princess flicked her right wrist hitting the dummy with surprising force for a girl of her size and age. It meant nothing that she was a girl in a tournament with mostly males, she would outdo them all, it was the way of Iglasians, gender didn't matter much. Her pure blue eyes focused on her target as she raised her arm to strike once heavily across the front of the dummy.

"I see your still using my old saber that I gave you" A voice from behind her spoke.

Lumina recognized the voice as someone she hadn't seen in a long while, she turned quickly and threw her arms around his neck in a hug. "Oh, Jasper! It's been too long!" The princess could be quiet excitable, especially when seeing someone she cared about. In truth, she had feelings for the young prince and had missed him dearly. "Where have you been?" She asked still holding him with her chin rested on his shoulder.

Vince snarled lightly, giving no thought about the offer and not even thinking what Fiyori would say, he grabbed her hand roughly and shook it hard, "Deal, I'll be seeing you there." He started to storm off and realized that he still had a task to do that he was assigned, he would half-ass it anyways, "Your room of the stay is through that door over there," he pointed in a general direction before turning his head and walking away. mumbling under his breath, "Jasper is so dead tomorrow.

~~~~~
Jasper's eyes opened wide as she embraced him quickly without giving a formal greeting, he wondered if they shared the same thoughts for each other. Then he thought against it, there's no way, they were too close of friends. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly before letting go, accepting her hug and giving one back. "It has been too long, I've missed spending time with you." His face put a very light tone of pink before he spoke again to answer her question, "I've been practicing hard for this year's Championship, and Jemma has returned as well, I've been catching up with her. You remember Jemma right? My sister."
Jemma looked at the hand Vince had shook. What had she just gotten her and her brother into? "Quite the temper that one has" She spoke to herself, shaking her head a bit before heading in the direction where their room would be. It would be found, with or without Vince's help. By now she was a little nervous about what she was going to tell Jasper, it was enough to hope that maybe Fiyori wouldn't accept the offer and just brush it off as just little kids bickering with each other. If he saw them that way, she wasn't sure.
Lumina finally released Jasper and placed her saber into it's sheath at her hip. It wasn't hard to tell that Jasper's face was a bit flushed red from her hugging him, but she decided not to mention it. "Hey Jemma is back? That's great news! You must have been so worried about her while she was gone, I know I would be if one of my brother's was gone for years at a time. Why was she gone for so long?" A normal person would add, 'if you don't mind me asking', but as a young Iglasian princess, she was used to saying most of what she wanted too. "Oh, I mean, you know, if it's okay for me to ask that?" She blushed a little herself but kept a smile on her face, she was over joyed to see him.
Jasper smiled at her before speaking, he didn't mind talking about such topics, especially with Lumina, "She went away under secret protection, you know the war we are having right now right? Well we were able to push their forces back enough so she could come back, and now she is," he lied to her. Of course he wasn't going to share the real reason why, things would go haywire everywhere and the alliance could be lost between the two countries, anything could happen if they knew was cursed. Jasper spoke to her in a kind manner, he wanted to head back to where him and Jemma would be staying and get some sleep but he also wanted to talk to her for a bit. "So Lumina, what have you been doing for these past couple years, it has been a long time and I can see that you have been practicing hard."
"Oh, those Zanonians cause so much trouble for you and your people in EverGlenn, I'm sorry, Jasper. But I'm glad she's returned to you and all is well" The young princess moved to push the dummy over to it's proper place, the arena needed a final good cleaning before the Championship and she had to do her part by putting the things that she took out away. "I'll have to let the maids know to sweep this up" She thought out loud while looking down at the wood chips she had hacked off of the wooden practice dummy. "What have I been doing? ...Hm..." She thought for a moment before walking toward the door, gesturing for him to follow. "Well, I've been training a lot, I have taken up painting and have excelled in horseback riding. I've been told several times over the years that I need to start looking for a husband, but what they don't know is I already have" Lumina smiled sheepishly at Jasper with pink cheeks. "Sorry is that too brash, I know where woman you come from don't say such things, I just... we've been friends for so long Jasper, I wouldn't want to be with some man that I don't know"
Jasper watched her as she took the dummy back where it belonged and made a note to herself to tell the maids to clean the wood chips on the floor. She then gestured him to follow and of course he would, he was lead to the door and shut it behind them both before starting down the hall. She responded to his question with a few things like horseback riding and training a lot, just like every duelist starting this year, she also took up painting and he grew curious about that, art was always one of the many things he liked and if she had good work he wouldn't mind buying a piece from her. And then she spoke of a husband and kinda made it obvious that she wanted him, though it was still hush hush. Jasper smiled and nodded, "I understand Lumina, though it's still a bit too early, I think we should wait a little longer where we both start taking bigger roles with the country before talking about marriage." He made it as obvious as he could that he had some intentions to marry her, though it was till to early to talk about. They continued down the hall nearing his dorm and it was getting late, Jasper and Jemma have been on a long journey and still have yet to rest afterwards.
Lumina nodded with a smile, "I suppose you're right... hey you must be tired, are you going to rest when we get back to your room? I would love to spend some more time with you while you are in Iglasia" She squeezed his hand and giggled. "I'll leave you be for now so you can get settled in, come find me tomorrow and we can train together" Without another word she kissed him gently on his forehead and scurried toward her own room.
Jemma heard people talking outside her room and recognized one of the voice's as her brother. She pulled the door open and put her hand on the back of her hand, 'n_n. "H-hey Jasper... I've got something to tell you." The princess pulled her brother into the room and shut the door behind him. "I've done something I shouldn't have and I know you're going to be upset but please, just listen to me before you get angry with me"
Before they even walked a few feet from the training hall her hand had grasped his, it seems as though she wasn't afraid of rushing anything, Jasper played along with it for now. She spoke of wanting to spend more time with him and he yawned being tired from the long day, nodding when she spoke of being tired and answering her question of going to sleep. "Yes, I will find you tomorrow when things are settled, I do have intentions of spending time with my sister here as well, I'm sure she hasn't been to the market near the palace, so I'll find you when I'm ready." Before another word escaped his mouth she kissed him on the forehead and took off down the hall, his face blushed a bit before he touched the door.
As he reached for the handle the door flung open and he spotted his sister, his blush quickly washed away. Jemma spoke of something she needed to tell him, the Prince was not exactly amused but he didn't know what she was going to say. He stepped in with her, before he could speak she spat out quickly that she did something she shouldn't have. His first thought was something that upset one of the Royals and would bring a bad name to their Kingdom. When she spoke of not to be angry, he started to prepare his anger, knowing it was most likely something that would upset him, "Alright, speak."
