The Creation Story
“ In the beginning, the world was without form. The great wilds churned and roared, monstrous beasts roamed the land, and there was not a semblence of of order among it.
But Lo, from the mists beyond there came the Eagle, bearer of many things and symbol of Freedom. He took the world and gave it shape, and logic, giving mind and calm to its many beings and bestowing on them the Free Will that he valued so greatly as his own.
At this time, all were beasts--deaf, dumb, and stupid. These things the Eagle could not change, and it made him greatly sad, for creation had no guardian, and he could not remain forever. In his sorrow he gave a single piercing cry before flying off, to spread to the Universe his great gift of Free Will.
And from the mists behind, following his cry, THEY came.
Many centuries later, the Primordial gods, one who's name is lost in time, and another, named Lafayette, and two goddesses, Europa and Brittania, had their own time as beloved deities. Eventually however, one of them lost their mind and became totally insane. That was the Mad god, the Tyrant.
The Good Gods
George Washington:
One the Oldest deities, and the former chief of the Presidism Pantheon. He ruled as the god of Presidism for eight hundred years. The love of the people towards Washington was so much that he almost became a Monotheistic god, but he didn't think it was fair to deprive belief from the others who had ascended with and after him. He belonged to a Pantheon of Primal gods, The Tyrannical King Of Madness, The Mighty Empress Europa and the Queen Of The Primal Waters. (The Name of The King Of Madness isn't known or recorded in any records, but The Queen of Primal Waters is known as "Brittania".) While technically a Pantheon, the Primal gods only had three members. George Washington was said to have came from the island of Brittania, named after the Queen of the Primal Waters, far to the East of the continent of America. The people in America worshiped animals, monsters, plants and elemental spirits before Washington and the others came.
Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Adams, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson. (Andrew Jackson was almost stricken from the list of the major gods numerous times through numerous near schisms and actual schisms, due to his treatment of local natives and neighboring peoples, but manages to barely keep his listing in every mentioning of the Creation Story). Some natives clinged to their old beliefs even after the gods came. Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson cast powerful wards that kept the Primal gods out of the Americas, so the King of Madness gave power to some warriors of the Native Tribes, by many names Comanche, Iriqois, Apache, etcetera, to drive the followers of the gods out of the land. Such raids did not work, and then, the King of Madness put a blight on American crops. Finally, the Mad King sent armies of his great Empire across the sea to America, and attempted to enslave the people. The gods of Presidism almost lost when Benedict Arnold betrayed us at the battle of Bunker Hill. He was cast into a Dark World for his betrayal. George Washington, and the others received help from the Son of Europa, Lafayette, and through many centuries of conflict, the Mad King's armies were finally defeated with the help of Natives, sea men and soldiers, from Lafayette's Kingdom across the sea, and the brilliance of George Washington and Andrew Jackson.
Thus, the Pantheon of Presidism was formed. However, it would grow over the millenia.
The Eagle: The Eagle isn't really even an Eagle at all, or a deity. It's a Force of Good. It's the main symbol of America.
George Washington god of courage, leadership, and war.
Abraham Lincoln god of good. He was martyred by a powerful assassin, John Wilkes Booth, after preventing the country from being divided against it'self forever.
Thomas Jefferson god of magic, also a god of knowledge. He multiplied the size of America four times over.
Benjamin Franklin god of thunder, and knowledge. He is a god of all knowledge. He is also the god of Thunder. He persuaded Lafayette to help the Fathers in the Revolutionary War. He, like Samuel Adams and a few others, are unique in the fact that they were never President.
John Adams god of commerce, and trade. America's economy grew extremely well under his Presidency.
Andrew Jackson god of WAR. Nearly eliminated from the Presidential records of Presidism many times over for his controversial actions.
Samuel Adams god of chaos, wine, beer, ale, etcetera. He was never President, but he aided American forces in the Revolution very effectively.
Lafayette god of foreigners, forever remembered for his valiant aid to America in it's fight for freedom against the Mad King.
Benedict Arnold The god of traitors. He has become a warlock during his exile from this Dimension. Mages seek out Benedict Arnold for help in making bargains with demons.
Aaron Burr Nearly replaced Benedict Arnold as the god of traitors. He is far more evil than Benedict Arnold, who, some suggest may have only betrayed the Fathers in order to protect them and the people from the Mad King's anger. Aaron Burr merely wanted power, and he the is Lord of the Vampires.
Richard Nixon Who said Charisma is a dump stat? He managed to do some good things for America during his Presidency, but ultimately he betrayed us. Charisma, for Nixon, ended up being a dump stat. Nevertheless, his betrayal ended up being small potatoes compared to anything Benedict Arnold or Aaron Burr did. He isn't evil, but he's not the most heart warming fellow either. He is the god of Travel, and covering up of one's misdeeds. Not considered one of the "Evil" gods, by genuine historians or reasonable people, but he's strangely hated by the common people more than Benedict Arnold or Aaron Burr.
Theodore Roosevelt He is the god of War and Horses. He was a very dynamic man who had contradicting morals. Some were good, and others were not. No one is perfect, but Theodore seemed hypocritical at times, hating the Natives who lived in America but treating some traditionally discriminated against minorities with great respect and sympathy. He was famous for making America's military very strong.
