Large plains of pure fire. We thought that we would have to do the impossible. Maybe we would all die horribly and everyone would forget us That everything we tried would be in vain.
I don't even know what happened, four years and nothing had happened. They said the portals was safe. That everywhere they opened up was checked a million times. Maybe they were. Everyone except this time. We lost our friends, maybe even our loved ones. Gone in a snap of a finger. Sucked into the green eye. The people who opened up the portal. Cowards? Maybe. I don't know what I would have done. But they offered that anyone who wanted to go in there and try to save their friends. I speak for myself, but I felt like I had to. Seeing as it was kinda my fault that Owen fell into the portal.
