Bruce nodded at that, "yah he'll come around eventually since he's had only one hybrid in his pack once and that was Michael him and Michael got along well and I think he would like you. He needed someone to keep his son in line, anyway." His hand was still on hers, as he was sitting backwards in the chair.

Max nodded and smiled. "I'll definately make sure of that." She said and squeezed his hand lightly. Max opened her eyes and took a deep breath. "I feel really tired. I don't think it would be aprpriate to sleep here though."

"Hey john you still have those two extra rooms we could use." John nodded, ""thanks I know my way." With that Bruce pickled max up in his arms heading for one of the extra rooms, he set her down on the bed. Before going back and closing the door.

Max opened her eyes when he picked her up and brought her to one of the rooms before being laid on the bed. "I can still walk ya know." She said looking at him.

Bruce only smiled at that, "I know that max just decided that you didn't need to walk more than you had to." He took his jacket and boots off, before laying beside her on the bed. "You know having you not dying on me had lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders and set brother wolf at ease."

Max rolled over and looked at him before smiling. "Not dying has lifted a weight on my shoulders as well. I didn`t want to die. There is still so much left to do in my life." She said and scooted closer before hugging him. She was more then glad she wasn`t going to die almost anyone would be happy about that. There was so much left. Dying at the age of 18 wasn`t one of them.

Bruce looked at her and smiled, before wrapping his arm around her waist. Letting her out of his hold was the last thing on his mind, "andlike Sena said once we find out mates and our mates are gone that's it we can't find a person to replace them even if we could I wouldn't you would be the only one for me."

Max smiled and closed her eyes. "I love you too Bruce." She said finally being able to say it. When he`d first said he was in love with her all she could do was stutter and make little sense what`s so ever. Right now she had nothing to be embarrassed about. It made her happy that he wouldn`t find another mate if he could. Although she`d want him to be happy even after her death.

Bruce kissed her before soon breaking the kiss just to catch his breath. He looked max in the eye, "now would you do the exactly the same thing I did today if the tables were turned and I was the one dying while you were the alpha of my pack."

Max opened her eyes and looked at him before sighing with a smile. "Yes, I would have done the exact same thing. Even if our roles were reversed your still my mate. If something happened to you tomorrow I`d do as much as I can and more to make sure you lived."

Bruce nodded to that, "I would practically do anything for you to live even if it meant I had to turn myself into the vamps I'd do it." He rolled onto his side to look at her, "now that your not dying brother wolf is finally leaving me alone for a little while." He felt brother wolf stir in his mind, before he went back to sleep.

"Sena's actually shutting up for once." Max joked smiling lightly and pretty soon she was sleeping quietly. She really was tired right now. Her body was still adjusting to the blood as more of it was created.

Bruce looked over at max, seeing she was asleep. He quietly got out of the bed, going back to the living room. He saw peter, "did mike give you an update on how the pack was doing." Peter nodded, "yah right now the humans haven't found the house yet, but the humans are looking for us."

Max slept quietly a dream of one the only memories of her parents going through her head. It was calming to see them again even though she wasn't seeing them for real.

Bruce nodded at that, before he walked back to the room before opening the door. He didn't look away from the door, "peter just make sure we don't have any police coming over here or any other humans with weapons." With that he walked back into the room, closing the door behind him quietly. Before climbing back onto the bed and falling alseep himself.

Max woke up in the late morning the next day. She opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling before moving her head and looking over to where Bruce was sleeping. She smiled lightly before sitting up and looked out the window. "Where are we?" She asked no one in perticular. Having forgotten about last night for a moment.

Bruce mumbled in his sleep before bolting up right. He was breathing hard, he looked over at max when he heard the question. "Were at johns place what you don't remember last night max?" His nightmare forgotten for now anyway he knew it would come back later.

Bruce shook his head before covering his face with his hand, "it was a nightmare just thought I got over that years ago. Before I came into this pack and became alpha, I used to use an old pack I wasn't high in the rankings really, one day I went hunting alone the alpha ordered me to, when I got back I heard howls an barks of pain when I got there I saw humans slaughting us try didn't know we were lycans they just thought we were wolves I was the only survivor of the pack."

Max looked at him as she listened and frowned. "I'm sorry that was probably really hard on you." She said softly and thought about it. Something like that must have been horrifying to to see.
