Peter only let out a snort, "she left me years ago haven't talked since." He leaned back in the chair, Bruce walked up to the two of them. He sat down in front of peter, he looked between the two before he laid down on the floor.

Don't think anyone's forgotten about you. Max thought to Bruce before looking at Peter again. "Seems like a complex relationship." She said before Luna woke up and opened her eyes looking around her. She saw Peter and blinked a few times before getting out of Max's arms and walking over to him. "Are you my daddy?" She asked quietly afraid she'd be wrong.

Peter looked at the little girl in front of him, "yes I'm your daddy luna." Bruce finally saw the looks between the two match up the little girl had the same color hair as peter did. He watched them, looks like peter has a bit more on his plate than expected

Luna looked up at him in wonder before climbing up on the chair and hugging him. She'd spent the last two days looking for him. Her mommy had shown her a picture of him and told her where to go. Being the smart little girl she was she had went to go find him where he mommy said.
Max looked at the two. They were definately related no doubt about that. The little girl had been smart enough to somehow find her way here.

Bruce looked at the two, he never assumed that peter had a little girl from what he could tell was that peter only talked about Sarah from time to time. Now he wondered, why was the girl went here in the first place? Peter put his arms around her, he smiled a little.

"Mommy said I'd find you out here." Luna said excitedly. Max looked at Peter. "How do you have a daughter though?" She said voicing her and Bruce's thoughts. Honestly it was a bit strange to see the guy with a kid and no mate by his side like you'd expect.

Peter sighed, "I took a human as my mate a few years back she left me never spoke a word that I had a child when she walked away from me her name was Sarah I haven't seen her since she left me all those years ago." He looked at the child in his arms, "she hasn't even contacted me I've left her multiple voicemails over the phone and she doesn't answer them."

"Hmm, it's a bit weird to think she would just cut communication with you. Even after knowing about Luna." Max said and looked at Luna. "Luna, how old are you?" She said softly.

Peter sighed, "hey luna did mommy tell you reason of why she sent you here?" Bruce was wondering that himself, ok there has to be a reason luna was sent here Sarah wouldn't just do it out of all of these years. it was the first time in the last few minutes that he actually said something.

Luna frowned and sat down on Peter`s lap. "Mommy`s been sick, she sent me here to go see daddy. She said the he would take care of me. I asked why she couldn`t come with me and she said that it was an adult thing that I shouldn`t worry my head about it." She explained looking down at her lap. "Did I do something wrong?" Luna asked looking like she was about to cry.

Peter shook his head, "no no you didn't luna I can tell you what this will be your new family you haven't met the others yet but we will protect you and take care of you alright?" Bruce thought a moment, must be cancer or something else if she sent her here and she would know she wouldn't be able to survive it or take care of luna anymore.

Luna nodded looking back at him and tilted her head to the side. "Is mommy going to come too?" She asked her eyebrows furrowing together in confusion having no idea that she may not see her mom again or the silent conversation going between the three.
Max sighed looking at Luna. She`s a smart little girl but she`s naive just like any other child is. That can be both a good and bad thing. She thought.

Bruce sighed, kids can be naive at times it isn't always a bad thing either it's just never thought it would be like this with how Sarah sent her here I odont think she's gonna pull through this time

"Where`d mommy go then?" Luna asked frantically. Max nodded in response to Bruce. I`m really sorry Peter. She thought to him and her heart felt heavy. For both of them, not just Peter but Luna as well. She knew what it was like to not grow up with a mother. Although she hadn`t had a father either only an uncle. The little girl would be lucky to have so many people watching over her.

Peter nodded to Max's thoughts in his head, "mommy went to a better place luna." Bruce already knew what it was like with only a father, except at least luna didn't watch her mother die in front of her. sarah was good person and she's always wanted the best for the pack even though she was human she always thought of us first before anything else I don't really see why she left peter though he's a great guy.

"Why couldn`t she take me with her?" Luna asked starting to tear up. It had been just her and her mom her whole life and suddenly she couldn`t be with her mom anymore. She just didn`t understand why. She sounds like a good person. I suppose everyone has there reasons for things they do. Her`s just weren`t spoken out loud. Max thought and looked at Luna.

Peter looked down at luna, wiping the tears off of her face. "Luna where mommy was going you couldn't follow you'll see her again someday I promise that." He hugged the little girl in his arms, i guess we can leave these two alone for alwhile I've been pulling on the pack bond for extra healing so I think it would be a good time to shift

Luna hugged him and sniffled still crying. Max looked at Bruce and nodded before standing up. She walked over to the stairs and walked up them before going down the hall and turning into Bruce`s room.

Bruce followed, walking through the open door. He sighed before he started the shift, the shift first started in his back it was going slow, he heard his back break and other bones that he didn't care to think about. A small whimper escaped him from the pain of the shift.

Max watched him wondering how she could lessen his pain. She had yet to understand how to do that and at the moment she really wanted to know how so that she could help him. All she could do was stand there and watch. "It`s going to be alright."
