Peter laughed, then picked up luna. "She might be, but remember she's Lycan so she can't really break any hearts, plus max she won't do it to her own father." Bruce raised an eyebrow, "that's debatable sometimes peter you know that right."

Max sat back down and looked at him. "Either way, I wish I knew her tricks when I was her age. Then my uncle really would have had something to worry about." She said and drank her water. Luna looked at Peter and poked his nose before giggling like it was the funniest thing in the world. She was a hyper girl compared to her father.

Peter laughed when she poked his nose, "your just like your mother full of energy aren't you." He smiled at the little girl in his arms, "just make sure she stays out of trouble peter you really need to keep an eye on her with what's going on right now."

Luna looked at Peter and smiled before nodding excitedly. "Yeah!" Max nodded agreeing with Bruce. "He`s right," she said and stood up before walking out of the room to go upstairs to change into a new set of clothes.

Bruce watched max go upstairs, before he finished off his drink setting the cup in the sink. He went to the couch and laid down there looking up at the ceiling. He sighed he didn't know what this war had in store for them or anything.

Max walked into Bruce`s room and closed the door before getting her suitcase and changing into a new set of clothing which consisted of a blank tank top and black jeans. Then of course her regular black hoodie with a red star on the back and her boots which she didn`t bother to put on at the moment.After changing she walked back down stairs.

Bruce heard her coming back downstairs, he let out a sigh. Looking up at the ceiling peter of course had taken luna to go meet the rest of the pack. He rolled over on the couch, he didn't know if the whole pack could get out of this alive or not.

Max walked over to him and looked down at him. "When we the last time you relaxed?" She asked softly. She could tell he was under a lot of stress as the alpha with the war and everything. In her opinion he should be relaxing even just a little bit at this point. Too much stress wasn`t good for anyone.

Bruce shrugged, "few weeks or something I lost count after thirteen." He looked up at her, he knew she was worried about him, he knew that because she was his mate. He tried to relax a few days back but after a few hours everything just came back rushing into his head.

Max sighed. "You really need to relax your going to get yourself sick at this rate." She said a worried expression on her face. "I think we should take the day to just go out and do something. To get away from everything for a bit. At the moment everything`s calm so I don`t see why not."

Bruce nodded, "alright max alright." He got himself to his feet, grabbing his boots and then putting them on. He grabbed his leather jacket and put that on also. He wasn't one for going anywhere without his jacket it was his mothers brothers jacket after all.

Max smiled in victory before walking over to her combat boots and slipped them on before tying them. "Do you know any good places we could go?" She asked curiously never having gone amazing far in this forest.

Bruce thought for a moment, "yah I know a place," he started walking out of the house. After a few hours of getting to his favorite spot they were there. It was a cliff, with the view of the river and forest below them the sun was starting to set it wa the best place you could go and watch one.

Max followed him through the forest wondering where they were going. He seemed so calm about it and she wondered why. When they got there she looked around and watch. "It's so beautiful here." She whispered after transforming into human form.

Bruce smiled, "always helped me think and relax when I'm out here it's been awhile since I've been out here fully again." He sat on the edge of the cliff just watching the sun set. He always managed to find time to come. With the war and all he couldn't do that.

Max looked over at him and smiled before leaning over and kissed him softly. "I know you will." She said softly and squeezed his hand. The war still scared her though. So far he'd already been injured seriously. It scared her of how it may be in the future.
