A smile spread across Bruce's face at her comment, "I love you too max never forget that. You know nothing can calm me down as you can, I've seen you calm down brother wolf in a matter of minutes where it would take hours for others to calm brother wolf down fully." He looked at max as she closed her eyes, "and you also bring me happieness max."

Hear his words made her smile. "It`s basicly my job to calm you down." She joked. "I`ll never forget it because I`d never be able to forget you. Your the wolf that has literally saved my life since the day you met me. In return you took my heart." Max said smiling happily as she opened her eyes again.

Bruce let out a chuckle from her joke, her words melted his heart "and since the day we've met I've been protecting you in return for protecting you you stole my heart over the months we got to know each other." He smiled at the old thought, he had slowly told her about his past over the seven years.

Max nodded to that smiling at she thought about it. "It seems like yesterday. Now we can read each other like it`s nothing." She said and laughed softly at how true it was. Her whole life she was never good at opening up to people. Although ever since she met him it started to become easier and easier to be herself around other people and come out of her shell that she`d build up for protection.

Bruce nodded to that, "it does doesn't it? Over the years I've become a little less visious over the years I still remember the first day we met the woods. When I was in wolf form you looked really scared of me while Brian took out his phone and Luke threw a rock at me." He sighed, "I just wish days were as simple as they were back then."

Bruce nodded to that, "and one day it'll be like that again max it will be I promise that." He just didn't know how long this war was going to last, because without the vamps the lycans numbers were scattered through out the globe. They would have to fight and survive or go into hiding once more.

"Do you think we could just take the pack and go somewhere? I'm sick of fighting, if we fight any longer all of us could be gone." Max said starting to give up hope on it. This war had been seven long years. In three years it'd be a decade of violence.

Bruce let out a sigh, "that's the thing I don't know where we would go max that's the thing I don't know where we can go." He thought for a moment, "I think I know of a place you know the forest below the cliff I showed you the sunset, humans haven't ventured off that far and I think they won't for a few more years. We can make a new home there, we've got the wood to do it and all of that."

Max opened her eyes and looked at him. "Your sure?' She asked feeling guilty hope surge through her. The hope she'd had when they'd started had died and now that the war had gone on this long all she wanted was to take the pack and go somewhere without humans or vampires anywhere in sight.

Bruce nodded, "I'm sure the humans haven't even ventured that far yet anyway max so I'm pretty sure we'll be left alone for a good six years or so." He ran his hand through her hair, "I'm tired of fighting anyway so if you want to take the pack somewhere, or anywhere I'll follow you gladly."

"I wasn`t expecting to go today, both of us still aren`t healed enough for the journey." Max responded and looked at him hearing about Justin she frowned. "All I can tell you is that you need sleep. Try to relax as fall asleep and it may lower the chance you`ll dream about it. If you do dream about it, I`ll wake you up." She said softly.

Max laid her head down on his chest and closed her eyes. She took deep breaths and eventually fell asleep after a few minutes looking forward to tomorrow evening. It`d be a lot of work to build a house for all of them but it would all be worth it once everything was set up and they could live without worrying about looking at someone the wrong way for awhile.

By morning, Bruce was up. Slowly getting another shirt on, he winced when he made a sudden movement with his neck while trying to get his shirt on. He slowly worked his way into his jacket, he glanced at max he smiled a bit. Then he walked over kissed the top of her head and got his boots on.

Max was still asleep never being an early riser. To her being up at the crack of dawn was exhausting and being up in the later morning was a lot more satisfying. She smiled on her sleep when he kissed her on the head and snuggled into the blankets more. The bed felt soft and comfortable.

Bruce looked at her, he smiled a bit. Before making his way downstairs, he saw the rest of the pack packing up whatever they would need for tonight, he had told them over the pack bond what the plan was for tonight. He started packing up some drinks, they would need them if they were going to build that house.

After about fifteen minutes or so Max finally woke up and yawned as she sat up before looking around the room. She smiled tiredly. Today was the day they were getting away to start off war free for over half a decade. This made her relieved and incredibly happy. It was going to be long deserved rest from all of this. Getting out of bed she got a clean pair of shorts and one of her shirts she`d put in one of the drawers. She thought taking a shower would be good before they left. When she was done she`d help the rest of the pack with packing up.
