Bruce was helping load whatever they needed into the back of his truck, as his filled up he directed anything they would need for tonight to Max's truck. He got what they didn't need into the back of his, it would be a long night for all of them, it wouldn't be hard though.

Max took a shower and changed before coming downstairs. She lifted one of the boxes in the living room and walked outside walking over to Bruce. "Good morning, where should I put this?" She asked the box being labeled blankets. It was something that they did need for the night considering it was colder now. She was surprised it hasn`t snowed yet. It would be any day from the current weather.

Bruce looked down at max, he smiled a bit. "Your truck were putting the stuff we need in your truck and the stuff that can hold off in mine." He lifted a box that had said summer clothing in the bed of his truck while the box labeled drinks went into Max's.

Max put the box in the bad of her truck and looked around. "Is there anything else we need to put back here?" She asked making sure they had everything before she closed the gate on her truck so it would drive off with everything.

Bruce climbed out the back of his, his boots hitting the ground with a thud. "I think that's everything we need to get us started," one of the pack handed him an ace. "Well need this to if were going to be building the house then I guess I can use this old thing again."

Max looked at him and nodded closing the gate before looking back at him and smiling. "I`m really happy ya know. We`re finally going to have peace for a little while. It`s going to be a nice change of pace." She said and looked at her truck. "I`m surprised this old thing is still up and running from how old it is. I`d have expected it to go out by now."

Bruce chuckle at that, "I've fixed the thing up a bit seeing that she was about to give out a few months back I made a few repairs to it." He smiled at that, "the old thing should be running for another few years at the very least with what I've fixed up."

Bruce smiled, "yah I know and you'll always be by my side not to be seperated." He walked up to her, "just to think we'll be starting fresh by tonight and everything no more worry about the war for a good six years at the very least and we've deserved it."

Max looked at him him and her lips curved up into a big grin. "I'm so excited, I can't wait. No more worry for another six years." She said excitedly. There were so many possiblities to do now. All of them coukd finally relax and have a normal life for awhile.

Bruce hugged her, "I know that max no more fearing for a few years at the very least and wondering when the next attack would come." He let out a chuckle to that, before he pulled her back to arms length. "We'll get through this I promise." With that he kissed her he didn't care who was watching at that moment.

Max kissed him back and smiled. It had been awhile since she had been able to smile this much and actually be happy. One of the things she couldn`t wait for was to see how the pack`s new house would look like. All of them seemed to have really good skills when it came to building a house. This would be a learning experience for her and Luna that was for sure.

Bruce pulled back and smiled down at her, before he pulled back reluctantly. "Alright let's get moving then," with that some of the pack climbed into the back of Max's truck while the others got into the backseat of Bruce's and back end. He got into the drivers seat, "the rest of the pack will direct you to the place I've already staked out for the house" with that he drove off.

Max got into the driver`s seat of her truck and listened to him before nodding and driving off behind him. She made sure to keep some distance in case they were followed but it seemed for now they were okay as long as they were in the territory. After they got out of that to go to their own it would be a challenge.

Bruce got out of his truck, the clearing was big enough for the house and a driveway if needed. With that the pack got out of the truck. Bruce grabbing his axe and started to hack away at a tree. After a thirty minutes the tree went down, Bruce was sweating big time, he took off his shirt and threw it into the back of his truck he went back to work on the tree. His muscles rippling beneathe his skin with every swing.

Max got out of her truck and could help herself to not watch Bruce as he chopped away with the axe. He was her mate it wasn`t abnormal for her to think he looked sexy, which he did. If he wasn`t hers she`d be worried some other girl would snatch him away from her. Although she still didn`t understand how she got so lucky to be with him, regular her. Don`t start drooling it`s not like you haven`t seen him with his shirt off before. Sena said in her mind. Oh shut up Sena. Max thought and got back to work.

Bruce handed the ace to peter once he got through the bark, he tied some rope to the tree itself. He took a breath before he started pulling. He boots dug into the dirt, as he pulled he had to put the rope on the different shoulder, every once in awhile. He got the wood where he wanted it and he started cutting it into the supports for the house.

Max decided she should find the best source of water around the area and shifted before running off. She looked around curiously trying to hear a creek or river around. After a short while she found a river that was quite clear for water outside. It didn`t smell like anything was wrong with it. Looking around she carefully checked for anything bad. Not seeming any wolfsbane or anything poisones.

By evening the supports for the house went up, and then they would start on the walls just before the sun went down. To at least have them ready, Bruce was back cutting wood with an axe cutting the length that was needed, then watching that get dragged add before continuing.

Max had come back a while ago and was helping to set up the supports. With her added strength from her vampire side it was an easy and difficult task at the same time. No matter how strong you are getting a beam in the ground was a difficult task to anyone who tried it.
