Bruce handed the axe back to Hank for now, he saw max struggling with a support. He ran over putting his back against the support and helping her lift it. "Easy now don't put to much force into it our till I the other way." He quickly tuned using his hands to get the support into the ground.

"Picking it up is the easy part getting it into the ground not so much." Max admitted sheepishly. She wasn`t much of a builder, any other skill maybe. Cooking, yes, fixing something, yep, but when you put a hammer in her hand you`d better not expect much.

Bruce nodded to that, "I know that that's why you see the pack putting the supports into the ground with two people not one." He smiled at her, before he climbed up to balance on one of the supports, to get another support nailed into place.

Max kept it steady looking up at him. "I guess I thought I could handle it and it didn`t turn out so well." She said and shrugged. It was good that someone had at least caught her before she did something bloody awful to the foundation of the house. Then they would have had a real problem to deal with and it wouldn`t have been good.

Bruce shrugged to that, "it's fine max this is your first time doing this." He got the support nailed into place, before going after the second floors supports balancing on supports already in place as he worked he never thought of himself as a person with great balance he always guessed it was instinct.

Max looked up at him her eyes wide. She`d never seen someone go up that tall and not care about it unless they did it every day. To see him do that scared her a bit yet she knew he wouldn`t fall. The beams were taller then she could have thought they`d turn out as in length.

He jumped from support to support, landing on the other support with ease then nailing in the other. He jumped down once he was finished putting the supports in for the floor of the second floor. He looked up at his handy work, it had been awhile since he did this but he was still as good as he was back then.

Max watched amazed. It was like watching one of those acrobats on TV. Except he wasn't doing back flips or anything he was just jumpingand hammering. Although she was surprised her had such skill when it came to this kind of stuff.

Bruce looked at the other pack, then looked at the sun. "Alright we'll put the walls up tommorow I think everybody just needs some rest for now." With that, he started pulling out the pillows and blankets handing them to the pack one by one. He grabbed two pillows and a blanket that could fit two people, he got out of the back of Max's truck and walked over to her handing her one of the pillows.

Max took the pillow from him. "One day down, we got a lot of work dnone today aswell." She commented and looked at the struture they'd put up. Within a couple days the house would be finsihed at this rate. Seeing it built so fast was amazing.

Bruce nodded to that, "it'll probably be done in two more days." He smiled at her, before he took one of the blankets laying it on the ground, then lying there himself and putting the other blanket over him it was still big enough to fit max next to him.

Max put her pillow down before laying down next to him and hugging him around the waist. "You guys build houses faster then I've ever seen. For a human to build a houce it takes weeks or even months." She commented amazed at the progress.

Bruce shrugged to that, before he put his arm around her. "That's because they have to take breaks we eat while we work we drink a soda while we work we don't take that many breaks really." He shrugged to that, before kicking off his combat boots.

Max kicked off her boots. "You're right," she said and closed her eyes. "Although it is exhausting to go so." Mac commented as she yawned. Once the house was done it would be smooth sailing from here on out.

Bruce looked over at max, before he slowly fell asleep. After a few hours he started mumbling in his sleep, it sounded like he was having a nightmare, but otherwise didn't show it. He didn't wake up, even though his breathing was slowly speeding up.

Max had fallen asleep for a few hours before waking up confaued leaning in closer to hear what he was mumbling. He didn't have nightmares all the time but when he did it worried her about what they were.

Bruce was sweating, "don't you dare Justin don't go running towards the humans to buy us time that's an order." He was still asleep while he mumbled, "let me go justin don't go don't we don't need to lose you think this through." With that he bolted awake, "Justin!" His breathing was fast, he shook his head his hand over his face.

Max sat up all the way quickly and wrapped her arm around his shoulder. "Hey it's okay just calm down." She reassured him and rubbed his back comfortingly. That memory wouldn't let him be, it was always a constant reminder in his head. Justin's death hadn't effected any of them as great as it did Bruce.

Bruce let out a shaky breath, he looked over at her. He put his forehead on her shoulder, he was shaking he was trying his best to steady his breathing. Though it would be a few minutes before he would fully calm down.

Max hugged him and laid her head on top of his. She didn't like this constantly happening. Him always having this nightmare when he slept. He needed to be able to sleep and he got none by this.
