I was wondering when fuckin Mako would get his shit together and bend some lightning. That's one of my favorite parts, after airbending.

Part of me hoped they were gonna be brave and kill off one of the rumored-to-die MCs, but it worked out well anyway. I have no idea what to think of Korra's situation. Both physically and emotionally. Some people on /co/ said the 'real' venom was infecting her with the idea the red lotus had, not the actual poison they gave her.

The only true letdown this season was how much of a nonentity Zuko was. They more than underused him.

Yeah, that will be interesting to see next season. I found myself sympathizing more and more with the Red Lotus over the season, it was very nice to have a group of antagonists who weren't just evil and had a cause many people would find admirable. Also, they set themselves up nicely for a bit of a timeskip that leaves Korra a null factor, so it will be interesting to see how the world reacts.

Indeed, I mean, one could boil the penultimate episode down to: And then all the important characters fight except Zuko (And Tenzin and the non-fighty characters, but none of those were in a position to anyway). Perhaps they felt adding Zuko into the mix might have stacked the odds too heavily in favor of Team Avatar? I mean, still wouldnt have been an easy fight, but certainly less intense and more assured.

Overall, great season and great season finale. Can't wait to see what they do for the final one.
