Max walked into the dining room and sat down as well. She looked at Jacob. "Good morning Jacob," she greeted him as she sat down at the table. Max knew fully well what would happen if Bruce was challenged as Alpha. It wasn`t like she cared if Bruce was alpha or not. She would love him no matter what although if Jacob did become alpha the things would get complicated quickly.

Jacob looked over at max, "morning." He walked out of the room, "max you should know now I won't back down even if he has me pinned either in the challenge I yield which won't happen or I die for him to become alpha which won't happen either." Bruce said with a sigh, he needed his strength he knew that for sure.

Max looked over at him sharply. "Don`t think about dying. You promised me you wouldn`t do that on purpose or even not on purpose." She said before sighing. "You need to believe in your mind that you will win, because you will. Your the alpha always have been. You`ve always been at the front of any attack and solved any problem. You have a lot more experience then the rest of us at a of things for being your age."

Bruce nodded to that, "and I won't die or even lose to him. He may think he knows everything about my fighting style, though it can change in a moments notice." He let out a breath, before he looked up at max. "I will win this fight even if it takes a lot out of me to do it I will and I promise that max I will win this and stay alpha and stay with you."

Max stood up upon hearing this and walked over to him before hugging him from behind. "You never have to worry about staying with me. I`m stuck to you like glue. Wherever you go I go without fail. If that means going somewhere different worst comes to worst then I`ll follow willingly." She reassured him.

Bruce nodded to that, one of his hands rested on max's. "And I to you max I will follow you wherever you may go don't matter the place or time I will follow." His hand was larger than hers, which like always Bruce's hand covered hers.

"Forever and always you oversized puppy." Max said and rested her head on his shoulder nuzzling into his neck breathing in the scent of him. "You`ll win this though, I know you will, because I have faith in you. I know you better than anyone." She said and was still amazed that even with the growth she`d gotten when she was changed into a lycan that she was still so much smaller then him.

Bruce nodded to that, before getting to his feet. He walked over to her, his hand gently lifting her head up to meet his gaze. "I won't ever leave you alone while I'm alive I can promise you that." Once he had said that, he leaned down and kissed her, his lips soft and gentle against hers. His arms went around her waist, and he picked her up.

Max wrapped her arms around his neck on instinct that she might fall. She broke the kiss and laughed. "I'm glad to know I'll always have you by my side then." She said and Luna walked in the diningroom on her way to the kitchen before sighing. "You two," Luna said in a 'what am I going to do with you' kind of voice. Walking into the kitchen she grabbed a plate of the pancakes that someone prepared that morning, most likely Hank or Hannah.

Bruce laughed at what Luna said, "Luna you'll understand this once you have a mate so don't say that he won't do the exact same thing as me well his personality will be different I know that." Peter walked in, "like I said before her mate will have to go through me," Bruce let out a sigh at that. Before putting max down, Jacob walked in, Bruce held up a hand before he spoke. "I know what your about to say Jacob you want to challenge me, then let's take this outside." With that he walked outside.

"Again, good luck with that dad." Luna said and walked into the room. She heard about thw challange and sat the plate she'd made down before going outside following after Mac. Max walked outside as the rest of the pack did. A challenge would effect all of them.

Jacob was in front of Bruce, they circled each other. Jacob had charged Bruce first, about to dive into his mid section, Bruce moved out of the way and just before Jacob landed he kneed him in the stomach before back img up quickly keeping distance between them. He watched as Jacob got up with a groan, he let out a breath. He charged Jacob this time, though he didn't go for the tackle. A fist went flying toward his face he dodged then grabbed Jacobs arm flipping him onto his stomach. Again Jacob got up, claws scratched his face, that's when he realized Jacob was slowly losing control he knew for a fact now that he wasn't even close to being ready to being alpha. Bruce had to end this quickly, he went around Jacob before kicking him in the side and then his fist connected with his jaw. He pinned Jacob to the ground, "do you yield?" He got a bod from Jacob before he got back to his feet letting Jacob up.

Max watched not all too surprised or worried when it seemed to how much a difference was between the two. Bruce was stronger and better at dodging the attacks than Jacob was. Jacob was too reckless and agressive with his attacks. They had no control to them. She noticed towards the end he was starting to loose control. It was obvious who was the better choice for this.

Once Jacob had yielded, Bruce let him get up getting off of him. Getting to his feet, brushing the dust off of his jeans, he touched the dried blood on his cheek no evidence he had been hurt there, only the dried blood remained on his cheek he would have to wash it off later.

Max didn't know what to say to this situation. She'd never witnessed a fight for alpha because all the others knew who the alpha was already. Challenging Bruce just seemed like not a good choice. He was experienced as alpha there fore he was stronger due to experience and practice. To fight him you had to get close to how strong he was and have a pretty good knowledge of fighting him.

Bruce rubbed the back neck, he didn't hold back. Though he didn't give control over to brother wolf either, because he knew he wouldn't give any mercy and he didn't need to lose anymore of the pack. He let out a sigh, before he looke over his shoulder at the pack, before turning and walking over toward max. "Like I said before I wouldn't lose."

Max looked at him. "Like I ever doubted you." She said and looked around before sighing. "I'm going to go get something to eat." She said and turned around around before walking back into the house. She walked into the kitchen and got a plate before putting two pancakes on it and trenched it in maple syrup. It was one of the habits her uncle had given her from a young age. After getting a glass of milk she walked back over to the table and sat down across from Luna who'd came back to finish her breakfast as well.

Bruce nodded to her, he walked back inside the house behind her. He grabbed himself some eggs and bacon with sausage, he sat down on the table. He started to eat he swallowed, still eating he needed the energy since he used most of it in the challenge.

Luna looked at Bruce. "Hey Bruce how old we're you when you met Max?" She asked curiously. She wondered about how old she could be when she finally met that person. Everyone except her dad talked so fondly about it like it was such an amazing thing to happen in ones life.

Bruce looked up at luna, "20 I fully met her when I fully met her. I first met her in the woods but I didn't know her that well because she fainted aftercwatching Brian burn alive, I still say the vamp deserved it for causing all of this mess." His hand slowly tightened, at the thought.
