Hello, and thank you for visiting my thread. I apologize for any roughness with the thread as I'm searching for one very specific idea. As the thread title states, it's based on Doctor Who. This would be a Doctor/OC roleplay so if that's not your thing I understand and you can turn back now. However, when I say Doctor/OC I don't necessarily mean in a romantic context... that element is strictly optional.
I'm looking for a crossover with Bioshock, specifically dealing with the city of Rapture. Familiarity with at least the first game in the series is strongly encouraged as that is where I'm drawing inspiration from.
The general idea is that my character is a citizen of Rapture. The TARDIS arrives in the city around the time of Rapture's decline (the exact date can be negotiated but I'm thinking before the civil war heats up). There's a few different ways we could take the story from there but one idea I had was the TARDIS being confiscated by the Rapture security forces and the Doctor, who was traveling alone, becoming a wanted man. (Perhaps Ryan believes him to be a spy, similarly to how he reacts to Jack at first during the game.)
Somewhere along the line he'd have a run-in with my character who decides to help the mysterious 'topsider' even though they know the consequences would be dire were they to be caught.
If we wanted a more short-term storyline we could end it after the Doctor leaves the city. However, it could be a lot of fun to do something more long-term with my character traveling as his companion. Either way this would be an RP where we'd each need to play multiple roles, though we can attempt to streamline the story to minimize that if need be.
As for which incarnation of the Doctor this story would involve, I'm looking for either an Eight or a Twelve. I'm aware Twelve doesn't actually have any episodes out yet so there'd be plenty of room to play around with your interpretation if you so desire. I could also be convinced to do this scenario with other Doctors but those two are my preference for now.
The OC I will be playing can be any gender, so if you have a preference I can set them up to fit it. I don't have any pre-made characters but will create one for the RP. I already have some ideas kicking around in my head but I'll wait until I find a partner before I flesh them out.
Please understand that I'm only looking for this specific plot right now, so unfortunately I'll have to decline any other requests for RP.
I don't know much about this site yet so I'm unsure if PM play is a thing here, but if it is that is how I'd prefer to RP. If not, I could do a thread too, I just usually prefer playing in private.
