[Ahead are spoilers for a game that's a few years old, and also the story the game followed, not the story I plan to use. In fact, everything here is simply to be used as a base for what we create out of it.]

Introduction

At the far reaches of the world, there lies a forbidding wasteland known as Okanos.

Deep within, a vast rift known as "The Scar" blights the land. At its centre, suspended above this fathomless fissure are the Thirteen Towers.

Towers of all sizes interlink and intertwine, fusing to become one single fortress.

Held in place by chains, the Towers loom like a spider in its web. Seeming to inhabit a space beyond the normal world, the Towers serve a purpose; they bind the earth together, preventing The Scar from widening and tearing apart the world itself.

In Pandora's Tower the video game, a girl named Elena is cursed with "The Beast Curse", an affliction that slowly turns her into a beast basically fated to destroy Imperia, the continent they live on, divided into ten countries. To go off on a small tandem, there are actually only nine now because one, the country of the the Vestra tribe no longer exists. The longer she goes without eating the meat of a creature that lives within the thirteen of Pandora's Towers, the more transformed she becomes. Her transformation is one of .... well, total grossness, and down the line causes her to dawn pulsating purple-like flesh riddled with holes and marks, then eventually tentacles of the same shades, and so on.

The Towers

Pandora's Towers are a set of ancient towers creating a fortress that hangs above a hole in the earth, called "The Scar", tethered to it by giant chains rumored to hold The Scar together and keep it from ripping open the world into the "Other World", which is completely unknown. The towers are rumored to once be used as a place of worship, but the continent of Elyria sent their army to occupy it quite some time ago, and when they decided it was too dangerous and abandoned it, they fled, leaving behind items, scrolls, and other things to collect. Also found in the towers are items and weapons that are from "The Other World," the dimension being prevented from emerging into this one by the twelve chains from Pandora's Tower. The one who led you to these towers to save Elena is a creepy gypsy named Mavda, who mysteriously knows way too damn much about the towers and carries an old man on her back for some reason who seemss to be able to work on items and improve and create them for you, though he never speaks in a way anyone can understand but presumably Mavda herself.

Each of the towers is based on an element (Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, and Light) that are represented by the Gods and Goddess of Aios. Each tower has a God and Goddess counterpart, showing the light and dark side of the element. Each tower is full of new creatures and such, leaving the thirteenth tower to be more of an ending area since there are multiple endings, and presumably where a place of worship. The random meat from the random creatures only temporary holds off Elena's condition, which is on a constant countdown to her turning into a tentacle-y monster of grossness and purple, splotched, and split skin. Each tower has a master, and the master's flesh is what actually breaks the curse, but it only works when all 12 have been acquired and eaten by the one who is cursed. Of course, in the game, Elena is a frail girl and doesn't do the hunting herself, because games love to beat the dead horse of 'damsel in distress'. Instead, her love interest, Aeron, enters the towers for the hunt while Elena stays back in the broken-up tower called the Observatory built a long time ago to watch over The Scar and towers. The couple had been lead into it by the gypsy Mavda while being chased out of a city, and are still being hunted, leaving Aeron with two time limits: stopping Elena's transformation into the dark beast that is fated to bring about destruction to their world and open the scar, and to do so before the Army have hunted her down.

Things to be Noted about the Game (In Canon)

-Mavda clearly knows way to much and has an ulterior motive, but she probably won't even be involved in my game. Partly because she's creepy.
-While creepy, the gypsy gives you the sacred weapon of her people (The Vestra tribe), the Oraclos Chain, which is the item used to remove the flesh of creatures. Best to keep this involved somehow, probably, because it's also a weapon and using Elena's hair is used to tell Aeron how far along her transformation is, regardless of his location.
-Mavda's country of the Vestra's was wiped out by another country during a war that ended just two years before. Clearly something to do with her motive, but not to be spoiled here, if not kind of obvious. Besides, she's totally unnecessary for our story. Fuck that crazy chick, dude.
-The Other World is never revealed in any way, so if we were to decide to bring that into our game, we could make it any way we want.
-The Observatory where the pair is hiding out is full of literature relating to the towers and countries.
-Elena has dreams revealing that the tower's Masters were actually once humans that were weaponized in "Operation Zero". The experiment backfired, so they fled. The common beasts are likely from the Other World, giving us creative freedom on them as well.

--------

Our story is still undetermined because I don't wanna make it alone, unless you ask me too in which I'll try to come up with several pitches. In case you're wondering, male or not, I've played on both sides of the one being in distress, not to mention there is no need for me to play a male because a lot of times my female characters are better anyway. That being said, there's no need for anyone to have to be saved if you don't want, or even multiple Beast Curses. Creative freedom, yo. The only things you need to worry about is being able to RP consistently, deal with talking to me OOC 'cause I talk a lot, and being a good, creative writer. I'm not a stickler for a ton of things in a writing style but I do have my limits, like all of us.

(Also, my chemo gives me memory and thought altercations so I might skip out for a bit, require lots of rereading, and forget your name. Sorry.)

PLEASE PM ME AS FOLLOWING AN INTEREST CHECK IS SOMETHING I ALWAYS FORGET TO DO SOMEHOW.
