"What is it about your past that`s creeping up on you? What exactly is making you so stressed." Max asked him she herself starting to feel a bit tense from all of this. She wanted to understand what was wrong but it seemed like they were talking in circles.

Bruce let out a sigh, "I guess some of the deaths are starting to catch up to me because before I went into another I was my dad's own personal inforcer. If they didn't obey what my father had told them I killed them." He let out a breath before closing his eyes.

"So are you feeling ashamed or regret for what you had to do?" Max asked still looking up at him. She`d had a rough childhood as humans went but his was ten times worse in more ways then one. He had to kill people at a young age while she had to worry about wondering if she herself had wanted to die. When she was a young girl depression wasn`t an abnormality in her life.

Bruce let out a sigh, "I feel guilt and regret for doing it my dad tricked me into doing it it seems like me and him get along well we don't." He leaned his head back, "it's been eating at me for a few weeks at most I don't know but I know my dad tricked me into doing it for him."

"Well, you knew it was wrong. Your not a monster, you knew that by doing so it wasn`t right. He tricked you into it so your justified by that. The fact that you now have regret over it is a good thing. It may eat you up inside but I`m sure that makes the victims rest at ease. They know you didn`t want it to happen you were forced too."

Bruce took a deep breath, "it just they didn't deserve it it was some stupid law of wolves and they broke it I was sent by that time I was only knew how to kill because I just came out of the pack that wa abusive to me. I didn't ask them anything I just attacked, now I just feel the regret."

Max sat up and turned around before hugging him. "You didn`t deserve what they put you through. You were young and they preyed upon you and used you. They don`t deserve anything less then punishment for what they did to you. One day they`ll find out the hard way what it`s like to be in that situation." She said trying her best to comfort and reassure him.

Bruce nodded to that, his shoulders shaking slightly. He took a deep breath, can we please go to our room I don't need the pack seeing me like this there wasn't tension in his shoulders anymore. Though he did feel like breaking down or something of that rather.

Max nodded and let go of him before standing up. Come on, it will be alright I promise. She thought to him softly and offered her hand to him. If he didn`t want to be in front of the pack then that was perfectly fine. Both of them were alike in that sense. Neither of them like the break down in front of others. It was a difference with each other of course though.

Bruce took her hand, his gaze looking at her his vision blurred. He closed his eyes, shaking his head clearing his vision. He wiped his eyes with his free arm as he got to his feet. He took a deep breath, he didn't trust himself if he opened his eyes.

Max took his hand and looked at him before walking over to the stairs with him and walked up them then into their room down the hall. She walked him over to the bed and sat down with him. Looking at him with a soft gaze.

Bruce's shoulders were shaking slightly, with all of the regret that was on his shoulders. He finally let it all out, the words had just tumbled from his mouth, it was easier talking to max for him than to talk to anyone else. It was kinda of a thing now, since seven years back he had learned how to open up to her.

Max listened to him and rubbed his back for support. She was glad he trusted her enough to rely on her so much just like she could to him. When she was younger she`d hoped of have had this kind of relationship with her husband and now that she`s all grown up and is now a lycan she has that relationship with him. He may not be her husband but in the wolf pack your mate is equal to your other half which also meant that you were sort of married in that sense there was just no need for a ceremony and stuff.

Bruce had his eyes closed, past faces flashed by his eyes. Though this time he didn't flinch, he just looked at them the tension in his shoulders slowly releasing after all these years. The stress of it just seemed to come out of him as he said each word recalled each death he had done to them.

Max watched as he talked and slowly relaxed. She listened to every person one by one. In her mind she sighed in relief as he was finally starting to relax a little more. It wasn`t just men that he`d killed. there had been women and any other lycan of any age that disagreed with the laws or choices. She could only imagine what it had been like to be him in those situations.

Once Bruce was done, the years of tension had slowly left him the stress on his shoulders went away. He finally got some of the regret off his shoulders but not all of it was gone it would take years for it to fade in the very least.

Bruce nodded to that, "I finally feel better it feels good to not have that weight on my shoulders anymore." The shaking in his shoulders stopped, he get better to have all of that off of him after all these years of having that weight on his shoulders.

"I`m glad you feel better, you don`t have to carry anything by yourself anymore. I`ll always be here by your side to help you." Max said gently and laid down looking at the ceiling. She was still tired, the damn sun had woken her up this morning. Usually by this time she wake and fine but the rude awakening hadn`t been her favorite way to wake up. She liked it better when she could wake up by herself.

Bruce nodded to that, before he laid down by her. He wasn't as much in tension as he was before, the muscles in his shoulders were finally relaxed. He knew he could tell max anything, he trusted her with his life he knew he could trust her with his past.
