Well, since Tahaan and Aysus can "See" one another, and they both have been described with color aspects(Tahaan being described as Gray with little sparkles in in for example), I would say that "Color" is the word Tahaan is using to describe the way the shift in energy makes the bits "look" different. The change in the exterior aspect of the bit. I can't think of a better word. . . . .Sorry. . . . .

Or one could argue that a side effect of making Light and Dark, seeing as light consists of all the colors, is that color became a part of their vocabulary of describing the things they "See"

I can certainly understand that there are gradients and shades, but grey, white, and black are very different things from green and purple.

The main reason I have to bring it up is because using it in that context gives the impression that the color a thing is reflects the nature of its weave. Which I suppose could be true... But that says a lot about people and animals just from the color of hair and skin.

I do not know how you want to solve this issue. I had an idea that the colors would just represent the nature of the atoms, like NO2 would look one color, and O2 another, and that's what the "Colors" would mean, which is why some bits refuse to come together because they are incompatible, but I didn't wanna go into chemical compounds, so I used colored instead. . . . .Simplifying things. . . . . .

I seem to be doing it again, Pope. Apparently I can't even make it two posts before I disagree with something. Yet I'm just not willing to always back down, and I can feel how much it bothers you when I try and push something through.

Are we just... incompatible?

Eh, I think it's less of a matter of incompatibility, and more a matter of us seeing things in such different ways that our flow is naturally choppy. If you don't like the use of the word color, then I am open to discuss some other way of representing the changing of the bits. I was seriously trying to explain my reasoning, and if that doesn't work, this is something I am more than willing to talk about it, and subsequently, change it.
