Drake watched a few on his left turn to dust as he killed the one in front of him. Dust and ash covered his shirt, "they thought they would get a lucky kill their stupid for thinking that. Also I've just got some news on why we're getting a lot of vampire activity they've found Dracula's tomb and if tey have then I suspect their going to try and bring him back."

Aura looked at him her breathing heavy. "They can`t bring Dracula back there was a reason why he was killed in the first place. He brought forth the race of vampires and killed too many to count. Someone so dangerous can`t be resurrected or it would mean the end of the world." She said her eyes wide. They had to stop them before this happened. The vampires would need rare items to even bring him back as it was.

Drake nodded to that, "he can be brought back so don't say he can't." He let out a sigh, as he sheath his sabers, "like I said your father may think this won't come toward te pack but it will he won't leave one Lycan alive if he's brought back."

"I know that," Aura said and thought about all of this. Her father wouldn`t listen, she`d have to talk to the pack herself and hopefully get them to listen. She wasn`t going to let all of them die due to her father`s disbelief in danger. "I need to go to our neighboring pack and ask them about it as well. Although they may look at me strangely for being there considering they are modern. They don`t exactly like us."

Drake nodded to that that, "I'll see what reports will come in from te other hunters in other cities see what's going on." He needed info more info than that article gave him, only way to get it was through the other hunters.

Aura nodded and carefully got off the tree. "You wouldn`t happen to have a house or something I could stay at for the night?" She asked her hand still on the tree for support. Tomorrow she`d have to cut the stitches out so no permanent holes were made. Her insides weren`t really dealing well to this either which was one reason it was also taking so long.

Drake nodded, he grabbed her arm putting it around his shoulders. He started walking, a slow pace so he didn't push her since she was wounded. His sabers were in the sheath, and the other hunters had already headed home.

"Is there any other humans or vampires where you live? Cause weather I like it or not while under my pack bond it`s my obligation to kill anyone who sees me." Aura said hating that she had to say it. It was seen as stupid by anyone not put to the old ways. Back then it was a real thing though. Anyone seeing you in human form knew you were a lycan and what your identity was. That made them a threat to you and your life.

Drake shook his head, "dad always liked living in secluded areas I guess it grew on me myself." It was middle of the night, of course no one would see them because they were all asleep at this kind of hour. He helped her inside of his place. "Theirs a guest bedroom down the hall, just to let you know."

Aura nodded to that. "Thank you, I really appreciate this." She said and looked at him. "I hate to ask but could you help me over there? Tomorrow morning I won`t be as useless but for the moment I can`t really help it." Aura asked him. It was hard to move her legs, every time she did her body rejected the idea.

Drake smiled at that, "yah I can." With that he got her arm around his shoulders, guiding her to te guest bedroom before setting her down on the bed. He walked to the door, his hand on the knob he looked over his shoulder at her. "Get some rest Aura I think you'll need it for tommorow." With that he closed the door making his way toward his room.

Aura got under the covers of the bed. It felt strange to be in a closed room like this compared to her home. This bed felt different as well due to it not being made of cotton and cloth. Laying down carefully under the covers she looked at the ceiling which would have been wood in her house. It was different, very different, yet she wasn`t afraid of it but curious.

Drake got to his room, closing the door behind him he took off his boots and shirt along with his pants. He got into the bed rolling over onto his side, he ha his fair share of scars like any Hunter would. He sighed, he knew he was too wired righ now to get any sleep. He shook his head, letting his mind wonder.

Aura closed her eyes and eventually fell asleep in the strange place Drake called his home. Her dreams were filled with flashbacks from her past. Most of them including Michael and his gentleman ways. Although near to when she woke up the memories started going through his death and how he died in her arms. She`d then made up the lie to his family about what happened to him because they would have frowned down upon him risking his life for a lycan even if he`d loved her. Back then things were different fro the ideals set in the present.

Drake had woken up at dawn, he grabbed his pants and shirt putting them on and making his way toward the kitchen. Making breakfast eggs bacon and hash browns he made enough to where two people could eat. Thinking that Aura was hungry.

The next morning Aura had woken up early but was in the bathroom having looked for it earlier. She was using her knife to cut the stitches out. It hurt but she could at least move around now. The wound was closed enough to not become open again. Stitch by stitch she worked to cut them out. It was a long process to say the least. Eventually she got all of them out and threw them away into the trash can. Walking out of the bathroom she smelt food or at least she thought it was food. Going down the hall she came into the living room and looked around following her nose into the kitchen. "What did you cook?"

"Eggs bacon hash browns, a regular breakfast for me thought ou wanted some so I made some more." He had just got done making her plate setting it down on the bar, before turning around and making his own. "You alright the wound closed up fine?"

Aura sat down on the bar stool and tried some of the hash browns with her fork. "They taste like potatoes," she mumbled and nodded to his question. "It closed up enough to not open up again although there`s no telling if there is any permanent damage to my organs, though it`s unlikely there is." Then she ate some of the eggs that and the bacon being the two that she recognized. They didn`t make hash browns back at home.

Drake just shrugged at the comment, he nodded. He ate himself, "right now I just have to go through te reports on my desk from the other hunters had just sent in." He sighed, "how I hate paper work but in order to figure out here smdraculas tomb is I gotta go through the reports."

Aura nodded to that and continued eating. "I will have to go see the leader of the neighboring pack today. She probably is going to be very confused as to why I`m there. Her pack is known for their understanding though so hopefully everything will be okay." She explained and sighed. She`d met the girl once a couple years back. She was very young for a pack leader only being 19 in human years.
