Oh wow, I was expecting quadrants but layering them looks much better.I like the transition between the different settings. And the added info about challenges/tricks is a good aid too. Maybe the town should have an even layer of homes, still thin, maybe earthquakes? I do like the addition of the mutts. Hopefully things won't be too hard the gang...You did a good job, better than what I could throw together!

I started off doing quadrants, but I thought it was more circular from the way you described it. If you like it enclosed like that, we'll keep it! And yeah, I just didn't want to cut off the radio tower, so I didn't include them on all sides. Now that you know what I mean, I'll color them in real quick. Hmm, earthquakes could work. I think it would be nice for them to have one actual safe place though. Maybe there are resources scattered throughout each area, which would force everyone to eventually venture out from the town?

True, true. It helps that you're actually around though and that you actually want to plot, so I stay excited about this thread. I like my other threads too, but this one seems to move faster than the others even though we have pretty large posts. Plus, you're good to talk to. I always feel really awkward and annoying when it's clear my partner doesn't want to chat and be friendly.

*nods* She works so much, she should get plenty of rest for next few weeks. And our Navy guy (my older bro) is coming home for a week at the end of the month, so she has that to look forward to.

It is harder to post if your partner doesn't seem receptive. I get second thoughts if I think my partner isn't invested/talkative. I wonder if they're happy or just going through the motions. You can always tell if a writer doesn't like what they're writing. I mean the last thing I want is to make someone feel like that have to post if they're no longer interested but if they don't talk much, there's not much that can done and it sucks. Communication is key for any level of writing, sure people are busy, but both people need to have fun and talk ideas out. :3 You're good to talk to too, though I feel like the topic has been a bit one sided with my mom, I wanna know what you're up to too! (in a slightly non stalker way hah)

I'm hoping I'll finally get the OK for physical therapy.

Some people don't like getting personal which I can understand but neglecting the story as well is even more worrisome. Oh good, flu shots are a necessary evil. With mine, I got a discount on groceries (though I was in a grocery store)/ What happened to your ankle? PT can be tough but worthwhile down the road. Of course there are so many fragile bones in the ankle, it's also wise to be careful too.

I understand that too, and that's totally fine with me but when they act like I'm annoying them it's a problem and then I want to drop the RP. But omg, it was so dumb, haha. Last summer, I was working out and I went down into a push up from a jumping jack and jammed my toes into the floor, which pushed the top part of my ankle up into where it connects to my leg. I never went to the doctor for it because it wasn't broken, just sprained and that wasn't the first time I had a sprain. So, I let it go. Winter came around and I got really horrid arthritis where I hurt it. So I finally got around to doing something about the pain instead of just ignoring it. I got some x-rays and there's a little bit of arthritis but not as much as I thought, so I was given a brace and told to come back in two months (which is tomorrow) and we're going from there. There was talk of PT but he wants to see if anything has improved. /long winded explanation lol

And yep! About a half hour per character, so I think I made pretty good time :3

We haven't seen him for about a year, he'll be off for his orders across the country so it'll be good to catch up for a little bit. We skype but talking in person is much better.

Well that sucks. I know some great writers on here but they're not great friends/people. Like they don't talk much and it's hard to pick between a good writer and someone you might not jell with. I feel your pain, hopefully they become more talkative to at least reassure you they're okay and not bothered by you. Otherwise it can be pretty discouraging.

Damn, sorry to hear about the injury. That sounds painful, hopefully now you know to check into a doctor to be safe than sorry. Of course that's easier to say now. Hopefully it's been healing up okay and not giving you too much pain. Two months seems like a long time to go without checking in with someone, hopefully it's all good, or at least better if nothing else. ^^

I think he was just trying to fix the way I walk with the brace. Ever since I hurt it, I definitely don't walk the same. I end up going down our basement stairs sideways and there are certain ways I step where it still feels freshly sprained. Guess we'll see tomorrow though! In the future, I'll probably just suck it up and go to the doctor or the hospital.

I GM groups, they can be quiet (argh) or lively. But groups rely on so many people that it can be seen unstable by some. Advanced posts are slow to come by, but it's also fun to see other people write and react in similar situations. I think both have their pros/cons but for me, one on ones are easier and better to enjoy and see through to the end. Luck permitting and all that jazz...

Oh jeez, that's not good! It's better to manage it I guess, but you shouldn't force yourself to do things if there's a solution (money willing and all). Hopefully it goes well though!

Sometimes it's hard to edit myself, sometimes I feel I should while other times I think 'fuck it' and just forget about post sizes. I guess it depends on the RP and what's going on. Probably with ours, they'll be trimmed down a bit, depending on the content of the characters and what they've got to say. >__> Rather than plan posts, I tend to just wing it, if I planned words and actions, god knows if I'd ever get out of my own head to do anything at all.

No Top Gear on BBC America? I'm shocked, but then again it is Thursday night...tomorrow will have Shanter stuff...give me Picard any day! But hey, it gives me Orphan Black, Doctor Who, ST TNG and Top Gear, I can't complain much. I wish they'd get newer episodes with Gordon screaming because it's always soothing before bed. XD Or a great wake up call. I'll probably head to bed soon too then, I have to be up tomorrow morning to do some cleaning but my afternoon should be free to catch up on writing, maybe some Netlix.

I tried to admin a tumblr RP once. Ugh >____> Relying on tags to get apps is the worst. Worse, some of the people I did accept were drama queens. Needless to say, it died and I moved onto indie accounts. Now I do my playing here because the tumblr RP community is kind of toxic.

Thankfully, I have decent insurance. I just never go to the doctor if I can help it. It's just a waste to me, and I hate waiting in the waiting room. So with my ankle, I just threw some ice on it and waited for the bruising to go away. Like, as long as I could move my toes, I didn't care.

This has actually been good for me, because I was in a serious slump for a while. I could barely write three small paragraphs and now all of the sudden I'm back to where I used to be. Muse is weird.

I haven't watched too many of the old Trek episodes, but I like the older movies. The new movies really drew me in, tbh, they're so colorful. Chris Pine being there helps too, lol. I always forget about BBC shows. I tried to watch that new one, Intruders, but I kept forgetting when it was on and then I lost track of it :c
