Liz studied her kidnapper. She was sure that somewhere along the way he had gone crazy. She looked around to see they were in Vegas. She had always wanted to go but her father couldn't stand the city. "You would allow me to see done of the city?" She didn understand why he would do something like that. "I would love... No I better not." Her father was going to be pissed enough without her adding to the issue.

He said over his shoulder before reaching over his shoulder and unclipping his armour. He handed it to the man who oppened the helicopter door, then he asked the man. "Would it be innapropriate to ask one of the guards to watch us both?"

The man shook his head no in responce, and Samuel gave the signal for the man to "Make it happen." Then samuel returned his attention to you, with the wind blowing past gently. "Well, cmon. Lets go already. It will be my treat."

Samuel smiled and escorted you inside. You went down the elevator, and on the 3rd floor one of Samuel's guards joined you two. The elevator made one final stop at the lobby. There, Samuel walked you out, and handed you a glass of champaign as you aproachedthe exit. "Its compliments of the hotel" he said over the growing sound of music. Then, the sliding front doors swung open upon theibown accord, and the amazingness of the city of sin hit you like a wave.

All about you and Samuel was noice, light, alcohol, money, entertainment and so much more. People walked all about. Samuel didnt waiste time to turn and look at your face, simply to see your reaction. Here, samuel wa welcome. He was burried amungst all the other lawbreakers with money. A red car parked across the street rocked, strippers walked around, drunk people were crashing into curbs, women screamed as they hit the jackpot on slot machines, men brawled, children ate all sorts of foods.

It was all so alive, even the sidewalk glittered as if to say "Welcome to Vegas"

Liz looked around wide eyed. She had never seen so many people in one place. She could feel the energy in the air. She could almost taste it. She didn't know where to look first. Her eyes darted around the room quickly. She was trying to take everything in at once. She too the Champaign without really thinking about it. She took a sip as the walked. Liz was itching to try her luck but she wasn't sure where to start.

Liz was stunned. She didn't know what to think. "Ok food first." She could handle that. Food was easy. "Seafood?" She suggested. It was something that she had always wanted to try. She was going to do as many of the things she had always wanted to do as she could. She wanted to have a memory to treasure no matter what happened.

Taking occasional sips of his drink, until you reached a rather run down looking building with a licture of a drunk fish hanging in neon from the window. "Here is is. Samuel said as he pulle you inside. His guard followed closely behind.

Inside Samuel did not wait to be seated. He pulled 2 seats up by the bar. Electronice gambeling machines that looked like ipads were everwhere, and te scent of the ocean on grill fille the air. A rather large looking white man was at the grill doing his job, and a much smaller darker woman aproached. "Hello you two, welcome to the odyssey. Do you know what you would like to eat or drink yet?" To which Samuel replied "give us a moment."

Liz followed him in a daze. She couldn't believe that he was going to let her experience Las Vegas. She didn't mind that he was with her every step of the way. In fact she was glad that he was with her. He knew the city she didn't. She followed him into a restaurant. She took a deep breath and let the smell of seafood fill her lungs. She took her time following him to the table. "I have no idea what I want."

"Well they have sushi of all sorts here if thats what you like, but they also have grilled seafood a well." Samuel pointed to a small menue up above and behind the counter.

"I don't think I am brave enough to try sushi." Liz told him softly. She wanted to try new things but sushi was a bit too much for her. She looked at the menu. "I think I will try the Salmon. I've heard it is a good fish to eat."

"Salmon is good for your heart and cholesterol yeah." Samuel added in. When the lady came back, he told her "One order of grilled salmon, an another of red belly pirannah. And ill have a Sam Adams." Samuel looked to you, woundering what you would get to drink.

First came the drinks, and then a few minuts later the food. Your food was cooked well, with a small dash of herbs on top. Sammuels came wrapped in a bannana leaf. His fish was whole, eye and fina included. "The pirannah is a freshwater fish, so its healthier usually, and taste less salty." Samuel says as his plate arrives.

Liz shutter when she looked at his meal. She didn't care how nutritious it was for her. She could never imagine eating something that was staring at her. She kept her eyes on her food. She eat inntiny lady like bite.

Samuel started with the eye, then tore his fish apart! "Hurry up!" Hefrequently said over his food. "Or we wont have as much time." His etiquate was gone, and he ate almost like an animal, shoveling huge portions of this moderately small fish into his mouth. His fish was picke to the bone by the 3 minut marker. Then, he kicked back in his chair and sipped his beer whilst he waited cor you to finish.

Liz was glad that she wasnt a slower eater. Her devoured his meal like he was the Tasmanian devil or something. She had never seen anyone eat like that. Fortunately she finished shortly after he did. "Alright I am ready."

Samuel placed a 20 and a 10 on the counter, then stood up and led you out. Outside, the noose and coty life once again overtook any chance for a level toned conversation. None the less Samuel turned to face you and shouted "WHICH ONE?! YOU CAN PICK!" He wa referring the the countless casino's linning the streets, many of which had hotels above them. The big 3 seemed to be one shapped like a black pyramid, ceasar's palace, and a very native american looking casino.

All 3 had people walking in and out. Some were crying, others were laughig, some were jumping with joy! But the same games were offered in all 3. The sun was still directly ahead, and beat down upon the life of the city, like the great ball of fire it was.

Liz looked around. She was overwhelmed again. She didn't know where to go. She pick the pyramid simply she thought it was pretty. She walked into the casino. The noise nearly deafened her. She took her kidnappers hand. She was nervous about being in the ceremony. She looked around wondering where to start. She wander over to one of the pull slots.
