A few hours ago, I made a Math quiz in preparation for my brother's final exam this semester. By the time I finished writing the questions, I just noticed that one came up like this:

You are playing Pokemon Black 2 and are running around a patch of tall grass at Route 6, home to several wild Pokemon species. Below are the list of Pokemon you can encounter and their respective percentages of encounter:

Marill - 5%
Tranquill - 15%
Swadloon - 10%
Deerling - 30%
Karrablast - 5%
Foongus - 10%
Shelmet - 25%

Suppose that you encounter 100 Pokemon during the course of your gameplay. Determine the probability of you encountering one Marill out of the 100.

Also, I'm heading out now to buy spices and sauces to take to Australia. Those things cost ten times more there than they do here and some of them are only available in my home country. XP

I was planning to log on yesterday. I was on a dentist's appointment and got everything done in an hour, but the car battery went bust, so I and my dad spent two hours waiting for a replacement. I couldn't log on because of that. XD

Nope, sadly. On the bright side, we did manage to get home safely. :D

On the other note, my brother is dragging me out for dinner tonight. No buts, no ifs. I do suspect that he's only taking me because his eatery of choice is an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant. :P

He's been nagging and whining about eating there for the past three weeks. Since I'm leaving in a week, he said that I should come so we could spend time together. I'm pretty sure he's taking me so he could dump things he couldn't finish to me. ^^;
