Drake looked at her slightly confused, but nodded. He didn't know where the pain was coming from, "yah I can feel the pain." He was wondering what she wasn't telling him, but he would wait for right now let her tell him when she was ready. He grabbed the bandages knowing her healing process was slowed down he wrapped the wound up.

"Do you understand why?" Aura asked curiously. She wondered if he knew much about lycan customs. She knew a lot of hunters stuided up on the creatures they hunted. It wasn't uncommon. She herself had stuided both humans and vampires before.

Drake thought for a moment, there were two reasons why he would feel pain. The pack bond which he thought wasn't likely, since she had cut all ties to her pack then the mate bond. It clicked into place, "the mate bond that's why I healed so fast you gave your healing to me."

"Bingo you've fianlly gotten it." Aura said and avoided eye contact afraid of what he was going to say. She didn't know how ro say it so half of her was glad he'd finally gotten it and she hadn't said it. Although the other half of her was scared of what he'd think.

Drake smiled, he lifted her chin. "Just saying now part of me was always pulled toward you and I didn't know why I guess I figured it out then that's why I couldn't kill you no matter how much you wanted me to." It was true, no matter how much she wanted him to kill her he couldn't do it.

"You're okay with it?" Aura asked looking at him blushing a little bit. It wasn't like her to be so easily flustered but she was kinda embarassed by this. It awakened feelings that she hadn't felt in over a century. That fact alone scared the hell out of her.

Drake nodded to that, "I'm fine with it I don't mind it." He smiled a bit, he sighed this was new to him. He hadn't felt this feeling in his chest for anyone else at all. He guessed he never uncovered it because he was with the hunters for most of the time.

Aura nodded not really knowing what to say. "So what does this mean now? Is anything going to happen?" She asked and held her arm with her other hand hoping the wound would stop bleeding soon enough. She wasn't familiar with the effects.

Drake shrugged to that, "that's up to you I've had feelings for you but that's totally up to you if you want to be with a dhampir that is." He was rubbing the back of his neck slightly, he never had to worry about this before. A small sigh escaped his lips.

Drake nodded, he rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess I can take that risk since taking risks have gotten me this far in life in the very least." He wasn't good at this romantic stuff, give him a weapon and a target that had broken the law he would be able to pull it off without any hesitation.

"So is that a yes?" Aura asked slightly confused. She felt like this was going to be a lot harder than just snapping your fingers. Her heart was pounding like crazy. She hadn't felt like this since Micheal had said all this stuff to her and she had to figure out how to respond to it.

"Should I really leave all this blood in here?" Aura asked quietly before he could get down the hall. It'd be a bit horrific t walk in there and see blood everywhere. Plus if a vampire or hybrid came in they'd be able to tell right away where it was.

Drake sighed, he stopped. "You go ahead go to the living room I'll get this cleaned up." With that, he grabbed a towel and started to clean up the mess. His speed proved helpful, he was done in a few minutes. He rolled his shoulders before he went to the living room himself.
