"I...I don't know. We have a week to figure it out, at least. Maybe...maybe we can contact them somehow, like a phone call or something. We can come up with some excuse why they shouldn't come. Like...I don't know. Is there anything that would make sense for us to be away for unavoidably? They know that our semester has ended, so I doubt we can use that as excuse. We...we can come up with something." Sam said, though he did not know exactly what to suggest.

"Say perhaps we are going out further into the state and explore, I don't know" she said shaking as the car continued to drive them to an unknown location. Stevie looked out the window "I don't recognize this place at all dear, where are they taking us" she said looking back at him

Sam and Stevie's captors ended up driving them quite a long distance from their camp, along roads Sam had never traveled before. They started out on mountainous backroads for hours, all the while their captors told them nothing about what was happening. Several times they stopped in out of the way places as if they were hiding. Several of the guards, as well as the woman leading them, made frantic-sounding phone calls just far enough away that they could not hear them clearly. Nevertheless, each time, they continued on as if nothing had went wrong. After a few hours on the interstate, they headed back onto the smaller roads and into the mountains.

By this point, Sam had not the slightest idea where they were, only that it took quite a long time for them to get there, even without considering the stops. In fact, it was already dark by the time they arrived at their destination. It looked as if they were heading down an abandoned dirt road in the middle of the forest until they reached a robust looking gate in a tall, electrified fence, complete with barbed wire on the top. There were armed guards on the inside, but even so, the driver in front had to verify them with what looked like a thumbprint scanner before the gates would open and allow them inside. They drove inside, at which point the road became far more even and well-maintained. It was dark, but with their night vision, Sam and Stevie could see well. From what Sam could see as they drove past, the compound, as the woman had described it, looked more like a mountain village built on the edge of a lake. All of the buildings looked like modern-style log cabins, and from what Sam could see, there were at least one or two dozen of them.. No one was outside as they passed by, though it was rather late. Eventually, they stopped by one of the cabins, then the woman leading the group came to the back of the van along with two armed guards and opened it up.

"Come, follow me and I will take you to the place you will be staying for the foreseeable future. Since you have showed no signs of turning, I will have you unbound as well." She ordered.

Stevie shifted in her seat as their captors continued to take them to places they obviously never been to. She wanted to cry feeling more and more fear and anxiety filled her body and she wished to be in her beloved's arms but she was unable to really move with her hands tied behind her back. Every time they made calls she struggled to hear what they were saying but sighed giving up after a while knowing that no matter how much she tried, she wouldn't be able to make out what they were saying over the phone. She knew it was dark as they finally arrived at their unknown destination. Stevie took a long look and noticed it seemed to be a village deep in the mountains. 'Hmm it looks nice, the buildings are modern-style log cabins from what I can tell since I seen pictures of them on the internet...the lakes look pretty I wonder how a body of water like that can be up in the mountains like this....perhaps a damn is holding it in place- her thoughts were interrupted when the door suddenly opened by the woman with two armed guards.

Stevie nodded when she heard her words and got out first as best and fast she could with her hands bound. She took the time to look around the village since she could see a lot more than what she could in the van.
