The Pantless Games!

Oh I'm doing a HP RP with someone and it's been so long since I've written as an angsty Draco...I don't even own my HP book collection anymore because I kept lending them to friends. I feel so sad, maybe I should ask for the set for xmas and maybe this time I won't have a mix-match of hardcover and soft cover...Thankfully you're still the only uber active person around here...And I finally finished inking my stuff! Which means I'll scan it today and then color them in with pastels when those arrive and then I can have color and non-color to share. I think non-color still might be better since I'm shit when it comes to skin tone and shading and I'm so lazy I probably won't shade but who cares? XD

But since I'm done with those, I can do something with the cute scene from their first night at the Capital. Practice makes for less crap results!

Ahhh, that sounds fun c: I hope it stays active for you! There's really not much going on around here for me besides this RP, but I'm so into it that I don't care. I bumped my interest check last night and I've gotten a few PMs, one sounds pretty promising, so fingers crossed. I thought about joining another site alongside this one, but I'm still on the fence about it. Idk. I WANT TO SEE THESE DRAWINGS, WOMAN! You've been teasing me for like a month D;

I hope it's active too or at least not as slow as everyone else...but whatever. ^^;

Hopefully one of those PMers works out for you, most of them don't but hopefully they're not being a jerk with brainstorming and all, sometimes you can tell pretty quick who a good match may be and who...might not be. Noooo don't join another site. >____>

And yes, I'm a tease but I'm trying to downplay them as much as possible so...shhhhhhh.

I think one of them is definitely going to. The other two I'm not sure on, but we'll see! And I might D: I'd still be here for you and this because I love this RP, but the rest of my threads are like three or four weeks inactive and it's bumming me out :c

Maybe? D: That's what I'm hoping at least. I know one of them was busy with his job, and then another one had something personal going on. I think the rest of them are just flakes, tbh I: But I do have a lot more time to devote to this, which is pretty much where all of my inspiration has gone since we started, haha.

That really sucks. I hate when I feel like I've wasted my time with someone. Why start something you don't wanna finish or enjoy? Or if you need to walk away, some closure would be nice. Yeah this is the best thing I have going on right now, and I mean we have like over 1000 posts in the OOC and most of it IS plotting which is pretty neat. I haven't had such a fun THG RP before so I'm super enjoying it.

The worst is that one of them was like, hurr hurr I'm here to post like twice and then flaked. I'm afraid to unsub to some of these threads because they're bound to become active again the minute I do I: oh well. And same, this is the longest RP I have and most entertaining since we click IC and OOC.

I'm glad you came back at least. And yeah we click nicely together. I mean you'd think by 73 posts IC wise, our posts would suck and we'd be posting like Free RPers but nope, we're still awesome!

I'm glad I did too. Haha, right? I think our length has stayed pretty consistent, even after that huge post we did for the Reaping. I thought it might taper off after that, but it's stayed pretty good. I don't feel like I ramble too much either and I love all of your posts :3

Yeah, I don't think we've ever given anything less than like 6-7 paragraphs which I think is pretty good considering the roles we have under our belt. And I've had fun with posts, I've never thought 'oh I need to write more somehow' it kinda just happens and I've been pretty happy with my post as well as yours. :3 I don't ever get a panic of what to post with other RPs, we plan things out well but we don't nitpick and ruin cute moments either. ^^

Ooooh she'll look good in that. Were we gonna do the Mockingjay reveal during Katniss' interview? I feel like we may to. Probably Peeta wants to stir things up but necessarily for District 13 the way it was done in the books...but just to keep everyone on their toes and aware of things?

I just end up with long posts for this, haha. Like, it just happens, even when I think I don't have a lot to do say or do, I end up between 900-1000+ words and it's like, oh, guess I was wrong. I'm always excited to work on this RP though, I think because it's got structure but like you said we don't nitpick or plan too much where it's not fun.

I think that would be a good idea, but if we do the reveal then Katniss will definitely have to go last. I think our order before was Gale, Prim, Katniss, Haymitch, but that dress needs to be at the very end so there's a message being sent.

*nods* Short posts rarely happen since there's a lot to do, say, observe, FEEL, etc. I like that we plan but it's not overly detailed with who says what to who. Sometimes when i ask people to plan I'm looking for direction and order of events and some people really don't like planning even the basics and I can't see how people can 'wing' things all the time. And I saw the post, working on my reply~! <3

So we could do Prim, Gale, Haymitch, Katniss? Would that work then? we could do Gale and Prim together and Haymitch and Katniss together, like the new tributes interviewed together, and the returning victors together but I feel like that would get a bit messy and complicated with questions and everything. I think one person at a time makes sense.

And now a sudden bout of nauseousness has hit me...i'm gonna call my mom and see what i can take because I do not want to puke all over this keyboard...

Ugh, same. I hate being asked to wing things and it's like, I can't. I literally can't. You'll get a paragraph from me because I won't know what direction to write in or where we're supposed to end up.

I think doing them all separate would be best. And starting off with Prim is a good idea, as long as Katniss is last. I imagine the past victors should be saved for last anyway, and they'll have the harder hitting questions. Kind of like award shows where they save the biggest categories for the last twenty minutes so you have to watch the whole show. Plus, if Haymitch and Katniss were interviewed together it might take away from the Mockingjay reveal.

Oh no D; Feel better. If you have any ginger around, like tea or soda, drink that. Even a small handful of crystallized ginger or ginger candy works nicely.

Okay cool. I think Gale would love to watch and cheer for her. I think Peeta will have to coach them on the general things to stay away from and maybe ask Prim to mention seeing her sister back in the Games again. I think the point the last time, was for the group to pile on the guilt and leave the blood on Snow's hands so they wouldn't be as happy with the Quarter Quell. I know the preggers thing was used to sort of try and deter the Games.

Whatever it was, has passed thankfully. I do have some ginger ale but I may make some green tea. Or maybe fresh air would also help.

Right. I usually don't even get to a thread with those people who are like, let's jump right in!

I think Prim will definitely get a chance to talk about Katniss and their relationship. I think they'll be able to guilt people enough without anyone being pregnant but the obvious choice would be Katniss and Gale because Prim is sixteen and Haymitch is too old for Katniss. That might cause too much turmoil, idk. It's not off the table for me if you want to try it out, or discuss it more.

Yes, so much so that I'm halfway done with my post. Hopefully I can get it done soon so I can pretend to look busy decorating the house.

It's going to be pretty emotional then D; Poor babies. Haymitch will probably have to answer questions about Katniss too along with how it feels to be back and to be mentored by Peeta. I should start thinking of these questions in advance.
