then why go inside the actual games constrained by their graphics and mechanics at all. If we can just do whatever around a world that's still limited and completely oblivious to us why not just go directly to the "real" worlds? Right now this feels even more like useless padding that doesn't even count for a tutorial stage and it just means everything is our bitch in ways John Romero could only dream of.

It's obviously for Steamrolling, I'd say. But yes my cowboy hat goes to the 'real' alternate/parallel worlds, where we'd have oh challenges, and stuff.

Well, I had thought you would prefer it this way, but if you feel it'd be more interesting to be limited that way I can do that instead. I was mostly trying to streamline this prologue segment.

It would be entertaining, as you actually have... ya know a reason for visiting the game world, besides 'search for plot device'. Being affected by the game mechanics would make it entertaining, because you can't steamroll through it. And if we weren't affected by the game mechanics, yeah, it'd just feel like filler really, as we could easily breeze through the nonsense.

I can get speeding up through the tutorial stage. But even the Tutorial Stage should be Scaled to Power for the PCs, and such. Ya know?

It just feels like there's no real point otherwise, you know? In my opinion there's kind of little point right now and I'd be more interested in exploring an organic OoT Hyrule that actually reacts to this strange new arrivals n whatnot. But whatever, we stick to pixel-land because that's what we already went with. Right now the situation as I see it is: Yipee, we're in this videogame we know and love, except we don't share the artstyle, we are actually in the game so NPCs act like regular braindead NPCs so there's no one to really interact with beyond the standard party banter and we can just break the essential rules of the setting we go into willy-nilly, no fucks given. It just feels like a waste of a world.

Well, I actually could double back without us having to restart, because we have an entire half of the Crucible here in this world. It's got the energy to rework the worl, just expect a complete u-turn in how the guards behave.

Rattlesnake Jack wouldn't be bored, and he can have fun with the Police Force.

Quick Edit: Really Half of the MacGuffin/Plot Coupon is here Huh.

Half of the prologue device is here. This time around, rather than being the bulk of the RP, the internet is simply a prologue of sorts to explain why we changed and why we can gain new abilities through these artifacts.

Charlie said
Following Samus, "There are alot of spots to check, in Hyrule. We could just systematically go through every temple, The deku tree, dadongo cavern, and jabu stomach if he's still alive." He explains, Oreo following him close. "I don't believe splitting up was the best idea, but once we find the thing, we can find the others." he looks at the stairs, "huh, weird..."

This post must have been buried.

That's my mistake. I'll edit that right now.

EDIT: Done. Again, I apologize for that. I posted that near the end of my break and was a bit rushed to finish, and I'm also tired because I'm still getting used to working nights.

So... hoping that a Kakariko Town Clock Guard doesn't try and stop us... I'd hate to fling the poor guy into a building.

The Guard would haul us back to Castle Town. That means backtracking. I'd rather incapacitate the guard and get the MacGuffin ASAP.

Well as would I. Go forth and finish the Macguffin while Rattlesnake Jack messes with them!

I'm resisting the temptation to literally just rocket over there and beat you to the top. :P
