Roseia woke up the next morning and made some breakfast from the slices of bread they had and a toaster she'd brought in recently. "Here" handing him his breakfast when he woke up and ate her in silence thinking carefully about what she was to do now. She'd hoped it wouldn't become as in depth as it had become which did annoy her to no end.

"Thanks," he muttered as he was handed the breakfast. A moment of pause before he looked up at her. "Roseia, are you ok? With all this I mean. I understand that you don't want to talk about it...but you need to be willing to do anything to solve this case. That includes making contact with your family if that need arises." He looked directly at her. "Isn't that what you're always telling me?"

Roseia paused "Well I'll have to be ok with it otherwise I'd be a hypocrite wouldn't I?" she sighed "just don't expect a warm welcome from my family they disapprove of me enough already" she shook her head before she sat down to eat her share of the breakfast and thought for a moment on what on earth she was to do if they did have to talk to her family.

"Heh. If that's the case, I won't mind giving them a stern lecture or two." Dennis began eating his meal as well, wondering if that time would come today or much later. "Concerning the case, I think it would be best to go over what we have so far. Right now, we have a missing children case connect somehow to that school from earlier. The old principle was also a neurologist and apparently helped to remove brain dead children."

"Also his daughter is somehow linked to it and his wife, they both know what's happening and it seems we're getting close to the reason or the person who's committing such an offence" she said to him. "There was also that information on the wife too which is valuable but then the paternity of the child and also the hole in her head seems to be linked as well"

"Heh, if it's a worse case scenario we can always just blame it on some religious nuts for their cult," Dennis said dryly. Reaching over, he took a sip of his coffee before closing his eyes. "I think we should visit the school again today. We know now that the children's spirits aren't a threat, as deranged as that sounds."

“The mother?”

Dennis frowned. Roseia was right. Something was missing from them. Something wrong. Quickly flipping through the paper files, he scanned through each of them to find any reference towards the girl’s mother. When he did, his eyes widened as he showed his partner a scrap of newspaper article.

“This is all I could find. It says she was a common user of…supposed dark magic. Married to a man of science. A lot of people…wanted her dead.”
