The Book will be my first RP on this website, and I would love to do it with someone who is pretty competent in what they write. It's a bit of a slice of life RP mixed in with a bit of fantasy and mystery elements as well. Since this is my first rather large RP, I would love to have a partner who is willing to give suggestions as to where they believe the plot should go, and who is willing to work with a fluid plot that has the possibility of going anywhere. There are a lot of feelings that I feel could be thrown into the mix, which would be great. Things ranging from bouts of romance, to sadness, to action, pretty much anything we can think of as a team. Let's discuss the basic plot.

STORY:
It begins in a city. Two rather unassuming people who have rather normal lives meet by chance. This meeting sets off a chain reaction that inevitably ends up with them finding a book in a library tucked into a small alcove in the town they call home. As they read the book, they discover a large number of the pages are missing, and, even stranger, they find an old, marked up map of the city in which they live. What is located here? What are the secrets that lie deep within the bowels of this large metropolis? There's only one way to know for sure: seek it out and discover it.

Obviously, the plot still needs to be fleshed out, which I would absolutely love to do with whatever partner I end up with. I am u for literally anything. This RP can have smut, gore, violence, whatever we decide to make it.

I am looking for someone who can role play a female character well. I ask for this because I always envisioned the plot centralizing around a male an a female, not of any particular race or upbringing, not even of any particular relationship to each other. I see them simply as silhouettes now, and I would love to see the two grow into fully fleshed out characters. I would just love for that basic silhouette that I have now to stay: Male and Female. I cant wait to see what we do with these characters, though!

I would love to have someone who is fairly detailed with their writing. You don't need to be rewriting War and Peace, a paragraph or two a post would be just fine. I just want someone who likes to write. I hope I am able to gain the interest of someone through this, because I would absolutely love to RP this story. I would love to see where it goes! I might be interested, depending on the following:

1. When you say fantasy, do you mean magic? If so, what kind of magic? If not, what do you consider fantasy and how will it involve the two main characters?

2. What age do you have in mind for our roles? Teens? Young adults?

3. You say you want a paragraph or two per post but I personally feel comfortable giving three or four. Is that okay with your or are you trying to stick around the Casual level?

1. I would love to have a type of magic, but I dont want the characters to be magical from the get go, if that makes sense. I view the characters as normal humans who are thrust into a sort of underworld in this city they thought they knew so well. The magic will come, but they will have to work towards it.

2. I envisioned young adults, but I am totally up for any age, really.

3. If you get the itch, a large post is fantastic! I was just writing that based off of how I write, which is 2-3 paragraphs per post. I'm somewhere between casual and advanced, I like to believe, so if you wanna write, then by god, you can write!

1. It would be kind of cool if they discovered the small town itself was some kind of portal to a fantasy realm. Or that it was once tied to some kind of magical place where runes were once mined, assuming it's a small town with old mines and stuff.

2. Young adults, like 20-23 ish?

3. Okay, I just wanted to check. Some people want to stick around a certain range and when I've done more, they've dropped out without trying to make things work over something that can be changed.

1. That is an amazing idea and I'm already in love with it. I want to add an element of darkness to the idea of magic, but we can discuss that later if you decide to do this RP with me!
