A Knight Tale

For years, the kingdom of Crescentia has lived in relative peace with little strife. Indeed, the most unsettling news brought about to the people’s awareness is minor skirmishes and the like from neighboring countries.

However, there are stirrings that threaten to overthrow the regime of peace and stability.

There are reports of a rouge knight attacking the borders and causing wide spread skirmishes until the Prince/Princess of Crescentia themselves decides to take action. In short time, the mystery knight is thus captured and tossed in jail, having being revealed of two things: a plan to assassinate the Prince/Princess and the promise of war soon coming to the kingdom.

Ordinarily, the punishment of such deeds would be carried out by public execution; however, the noble Prince/Princess tries a much different, more controversial method.

One day, in visiting the prisoner knight, the Prince/Princess offers to be both their friend and their mentor. At first hesitant and bitter, the knight soon finds comfort in the royal's actions, explaining that a conquering warlord not only vanquished their own kingdom, but also sent them to kill the Prince/Princess of Crescentia as well.

As time passes, the knight finds themselves opening up more and more to the Prince/Princess, even to the point of fondly having affections for the royal. Although they know it would be against all laws of the mortal world to do so, they soon yearn for the Prince/Princess and soon swear loyalty only to them.

Meanwhile, dark forces gather at the edge of Crescentia.

Requirements
So what am I looking for? I'm looking for people dedicated enough to stick by this idea and craft a story together. That being said, the role of the Prince/Princess and the Knight can be discussed, as I can use either. Only threads for this one too.

There will be romantic elements to the plotline. That being said, I am fine with either MxF and FxF.

I might consider doing this in a trio with one more person. If it comes down to having more than one partner, than the third character role will most likely be the adviser and close friend of the Prince/Princess.

Please try to post frequently. If not, I will assume you have lost interest and will discontinue our RP. I mean it too. At the very least, let me know if you can't post or if you've gotten bored.

Post at least 2-3 paragraphs minimum. I would like to keep this Casual style, so post all you can and I will try to do the same.
