The orange-yellow glowing dim light creeped through the cracks in dark stone walls, almost appearing as lava that was just waiting to consume your body. The small amount of light what just enough to see the boundaries that contained you, but limited your knowledge of what or who was in the stone-walled cage you were in. Your mind played tricks on you, a creak here, a whisper there.. You couldn't take it. "Help! Help! Where am I?" You stood and ran to a wall, only to be greeted by a hiss and a hand against your chest. You froze, you should've sat still, you shouldn't have moved. You shivered just as a dulling pain hit your chest, the hand on your chest was so cold, almost lifeless feeling against your chest. You couldn't make your legs work. You felt the hand move, and the dim light faded out until you stood, wondering where the hand went. Should you dare feel around in hopes of finding something? Anything to get you out of here! Oh how funny it is to watch the new ones come in. You were no exception. You're smart, I'll give you that. Standing still instead of fleeing was in your best interest. I'd hate to have to come pick your pretty boy body off the floor like most of the other who dare to run from Her. You stood still. You're hands by your side. I could tell you longed for human interaction. For someone to stand by you and say it's just a dream.
