Name: Kalleh-e Marg (Head of Death, real name is unknown)

Country of origin: Iran

Age: Unknown

Appearance:

Bio: Born and raised to a family of moderate wealth, he didn't grow up rich, but didn't starve either during his mortal life. Before the war, he was an acclaimed engineer and scientist who worked hard and researched his way to the top in Iran. In fact, he became head of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs in Iran's educational area. Once the paranormals attacked Iran, he was among the first to be slain. Once the war officially started, the paranormal forces resurrected him as a monstrous hybrid.

Personality: In life, he was brilliant but somewhat unpleasant to outsiders. During life, he respected and admired his colleagues with honor and decorum. After his death, he changed dramatically. Because of the horrors he experienced in the afterlife, he was driven insane after he was resurrected as a human-paranormal hybrid. Now that he leads the primary operations against ParaCom, he feels that his purpose is to take over humanity to make way for a new master race that blends the "best of the two worlds" with no "weaknesses of both" in his mind.

Mystical things RP:

My first CS is right here:

Name - Lawrence "Larry" Schmidt

Race - Human, though can be mistaken for other species

Personality - As a working member of Miami's Police Department, he has a strong sense of justice and sees the world as a chessboard. One of Larry's favored adages was, "Don't waste time on the pawns and go for the king!" Needless to say, he favors a swift and efficient plan. Larry also has a pithy, if not sharp, wit. This means an ironic statement or two might be uttered. Larry also notes that some tales of the supernatural are used to scare weary travelers and superstitious fools, meaning he takes them with a grain of salt. He sees all sentient/sapient beings as people rather than monsters.

Bio - Originally a purely a flesh and blood SWAT officer, he was first in the fray and last one out. However, an injury during his high adrenaline and high paced operations maimed him and though it did not kill him, the devastation he would face at his career being potentially ended was quite immense. He was very good at his job and Larry believed that inexplicable "acts" should not end his distinguished career as an assault officer. Fortunately, he saved enough money for treatment. His thrift and insurance combined made him able to try out experimental artificial limbs. After he returned to the force, his first words to his colleagues were, "Lo and behold! Your very real-life RoboCop!" Although the artificial limbs had their downsides and quirks, Larry considered them more annoyances and merely brushed them off, such as whirring and having to lubricate them for smoother actions.

Appearance - A picture says a thousand words.

Inventory - Concealed G17 pistol, Taser, Kevlar Vest, and other police equipment for undercover work

Age - 30

Second CS:

Name - Bahram Yazdizadeh

Race - Hybrid (half-human, but other half is unknown)

Personality - Bahram has trouble trusting others and looks out for number one. He is alienated as an immigrant and is dead serious. As his family isn't with him in Florida. he developed an "on the run" mindset as he is on his own. He does have a disdain for the feds though as he has heard horror stories of the United States government's past and activities. As he was part of the Iranian military at one point of his past, the US military doesn't scare him. He sees them as "hot of blood and dim of wit." He also has knowledge and skill with weaponry. He knew of the risks from not just crime in Miami, but also the less than friendly flora and fauna.

Bio - Adept at computer science and the technological field, Bahram Yazdizadeh once aspired to become Iran's Bill Gates. He worked with UNIX derived systems such as Linux for ideas on the next OS from an early age. However, the dreams had to be halted as Iran's compulsory military service came once he reached 18 years old. He was taught some tricks of the military as they trained him. Bahram was fortunately a quick learner and excelled, ending his service well, though many inquiries were made into his lineage as he had an air of otherworldly heritage. However, it was concluded that he was adopted rather than being a Djinn or a "bastard from a basket" child. Fortunately, he was allowed to leave the country and immigrate. He tried to take some family members with him, but it could not work out well due to financial problems. As a result, he immigrated to Florida, where one of his relatives is living abroad. The current goal is to get enough money so he can settle his family in California, which is said to be a safer haven for Iranians due to the Tehrangeles ethnic enclave.

Appearance - Red hair and green eyed, he stuck out from his peers even though such a combination exists in the Iranian genome. In fact, the red hair and green eyes were the reasons he was speculated to have otherworldly DNA in him according to local mullahs.

Inventory - PDA/Smartphone for hacking and utility, Makarov Pistol from relative in case of gator attacks, Khanjar dagger for close quarters also for gator attacks

Age - 25

Second CS became final draft and then used.

Name: Adam Johannson
Age: 29
Race: Human "cyborg" (see biography)
Apperance: Golem parts pattern
Human parts and previous appearance
Personality: The former paladin believed that his humanity is long gone. The experimental treatment mercifully did not destroy emotions. Now a mercenary, he goes for the greatest bidder and believes that the end justifies the means. However, he does have a dark and sardonic sense of humor as a result of his ordeal.
Biography: An otherwise normal crusader/Paladin, he got his golem-like prosthesis limbs after a battle gone HORRIBLY wrong. Feeling like he was no longer worthy of being a crusader, he left his old comrades. This took a toll on his magic abilities as he grew to disdain magic. Looking back, he would always justify his resignation with, "I should have died with honor protecting the innocents." His soul was also fractured due to such a traumatic process during the grafting of the limbs.
Theme Song: N/A
Alignment: Lawful Neutral at best, Lawful Evil at worst.
Racial Abilities: N/A
Skills: Very Strong, Very Durable, Melee prowess (Slow but packs a real punch)
Starting Spells:
Cleave---Beginner Tier, Physical Type, can attack multiple enemies in a 90-180 degree angle, but can only be melee range, costs only a minute 5 mana;
Rage---Moderate Tier, Physical Type, though needs a hefty 35 mana, the "spell" can boost speed by 25% in both movement and attacks;
Does your character use magic often?: No, as magic ability diminished after attacks (Starting at 50 MP)

From XCOM: The Shape of Things to Come
Name: Odysseus Earl Gray.

Gender: Male

Age: 35

Occupation: Ironically a Mechanical Engineer

Appearance: Fighting a Mectoid. Otherwise was a muscular, tall man and previously into heavy weapons.

Nationality: American

Trait: Augmented---MEC

Strengths: During the war, he learned more of technology within permission and reason. His strength is rather reasonable and is in tuned with technology. The expertise of explosives was also not lost. He was even very willing to collaborate with Dr. Shen, a man he admired during his tenure, thanks to his design creativeness.

Weaknesses: Due to his nature as an ex-MEC trooper, he is rather crude and clunky compared to the gene modded or psionic ex-troops. He often has a hard time with occasional clumsiness. Due to caloric reductions, he does not have much of an appetite and often has to force himself to eat and drink during social situations.

Personality: Reserved on his history, he prefers talking about the present and future. Sunk costs do not slow him down as he feels himself as too smart to fall for that fallacy. Having half the patience of a saint, he believed that good things came to those who wait. He never asked to be a MEC, but eventually took it as punishment for his rash decisions. He plans on meeting with what remained of the XCOM project to make it up and redeem himself in what he calls a second chance.

History: Before the aliens invaded, he was head of a moderately wealthy family consisting of a nuclear family back in San Francisco, California. Odysseus was also a veteran of the Afghanistan war, which would be interrupted by the invading aliens. An ex-demolitions expert in the United States Army, he was "drafted" to the XCOM project. Rather than complain about being chosen, he chose to roll with it. He did well up until lieutenant when facing a Sectopod. Rather than risk his entire team, he thought that if he's going down, he'd take the robot with him in a suicide bombing attack. Though he was oddly close to the Sectopod, he fired his rocket with both of them in the radius. The Machine was destroyed but he got severely injured after the collateral damage. His reasons for his actions would be to sacrifice himself for the good of humanity. To him, the needs of billions outweighed the needs of one. By chance, he managed to survive the fireworks display with his armor in the factor. Though he was willing to wait at least a week to recover, he now found out about the MEC trooper initiative. Though he though would rub salt in his wounds by making him a MEC when he was weak and sickly rather than being strong and healthy. Though he vocally objected internally and considered it a tactical waste of resources, the complaints fell on deaf ears. Ultimately, he thought that the MEC Trooper augmentations would give him a second chance boost for sure. After the war, he thought the Council of Nations would be making a ruinous decision. Why disband XCOM? What if an alien power vacuum was created? It was typical for humans to do this: Win a war but lose the peace. One of his quotes in support of his comrades was, "At least don't give the brave, hard-working, and enthusiastic XCOM veterans a mug of dog piss and call it beer." Somewhat pacifistic, he objects to extreme ideas and wants his cohorts to win the peace rather than squander it.

Kings and Queens of Heaven RP Name: Faridah al-Buladi Gender: Female Age: 22 Faction: Asasiyun Bio: The daughter in a Blacksmith family, she was one of her father’s few surviving children. Her father, Masoud, ensured that the family never starved despite modest riches. One day in his career, Masoud received a hefty order of armaments from a mysterious party. As he was offered plenty of money for the order, the smithy and the employees realized who they were dealing with. The Asasiyun have revealed themselves to the humble blacksmith! Flabbergasted by their appearance to the humble smith, he complied with their order, and asked them for payment to train his eldest daughter even though his pay would be reduced. A favor for a favor was the done deal. The Asasiyun got their weaponry while Masoud al-Buladi got education for his daughter. The sons were either dead, dying, or too young. Faridah eventually was accepted into the order, being trained and educated under the Asasiyun. Stunning her male colleagues, Faridah reached to the high ranks faster than expected. To her, the maxim was correct: Nothing was an absolute reality, everything is permitted. Personality: Proving herself as both pinnacle of the Asasiyun AND exception to the rule, she has a smart aleck demeanor until one earns her respect and trust. Faridah in battle tends to prefer planning rather than going head on. She thanks her father for sending her to the Asasiyun for training. As an adult with a no-nonsense demeanor, she is dedicated to the cause and its allies. Strengths: She is athletic and skilled in tasks requiring precision. For combat, she is skilled with throwing for range and combat with one handed weaponry. Her abilities include stealth, pickpocketing, and lock picking. Faridah is also very skilled as a side-line striker. Weaknesses: Averse to wanton slaughter, she has difficulty fighting multiple opponents. Also, Faridah has difficulty with two-handed weapons and armor, which would restrict movement. She would not fare as well as the heavier fighters during the front lines. Appearance (words or pictures, though a picture says a thousand words): [Out of uniform](https://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131121070039/arrow/images/0/01/Katrina_Law.png) [In uniform](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cbY9_qxRc5Y/Tq_hnsIttiI/AAAAAAAAASk/Wkz931VKk9o/s1600/Snapshot_088.png) Other: 6’2, 140 lbs, nicknamed or codenamed “Zarafah” (Giraffe) for her physique, though she doesn’t take it as a compliment.

Appearance:

Name: Ulysses Robert Carlson

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Specialty: Engineering and repairs, military combat if needed

Starting Sanity: 180/200

Psychological Record:

Positive traits - Realistic, rational, and no-nonsense.

Negative traits - Perfectionist, judgemental.

Background:

Before his tenure in the military, he was born in the year 2585 and raised on an unassuming colony. His family background was also very stable, with happily married parents when he and his trio of siblings were raised. Being the eldest, he assumed responsibility, knowing his parents could "croak" at any time. However, as soon as he came of age, he found out about the war. Knowing the war may come to the innocent home, Ulysses decided to enlist around the time he was a legal adult and when, in his words, "things hit the fan." The young man explicitly made it certain that he wanted to make sure whatever happened during the war STAYED in the war. Ulysses always believed that it was better to prevent than to cure. It was also better safe than sorry. Hoping that the family can take care of himself when he's absent, the eldest bid his goodbyes and made a promise to come back to the family in one piece whenever possible.

Eventually, he grew to become a decorated Alliance war hero with a distinct career, Ulysses boasts of experience spanning about decade of his entire life. Considered a "technopath" among his colleagues, Ulysses displayed an impeccable affinity for technology and good great pride when it came to repairing allied equipment. Though he showed an aptitude for demolition and combat, those two fields were not the main details he talks about, seeing them as side duties. Nevertheless, he was considered to be the reliable one in the unit for getting repairs or demolitions finished. A jack of all trades in his field makes him a solid choice for field operations. His latest job involves investigation of the Providence. Knowing that trouble may arise, Ulysses equipped his tools.

TLDR: "Country boy" with decorated military experience and abilities.

Equipment: Short barrel shotgun that can use a variety of ammunition (shells, slugs, darts, etc.) and a repair tool; uses medium armor for balance between protection and mobility.

Other: He is not abrasive, but does defend his career as a combat engineer. Ulysses once responded on possible PTSD, "If I had any mental illness during my career, I'd be shipped home without any possibility of return."

NOTE: From "Destiny of Man".
