I'm a fan of the Studio Ghibli movie "Arrietty"/"The Secret World of Arrietty". The first idea: > Two years after the events of the film, Arrietty's family has moved into a new home in a suburb. Their home is under the house where my character, Emile's, step mother grew up. When Arrietty is attacked by a gang of Borrowers, Emile intervenes. Emile patches Arrietty up, and the two become friends, eventually falling in love. The second: > Again, two years after the film, Arrietty's family has reestablished themselves in a new home. But now they have neighbors, including a young, male Borrower her age. However they are a bit naïve to the humans' new technologies, and when she is almost caught while borrowing, he begins teaching her how to survive in this new world.
