The races:

Precursors (thought to be extinct, and are worshipped as deities by Dwarves and Merfolk)
According to the collective legend, the Precursors formed the other races from different materials:
Men- Dust
Elves- Plants
Dwarves- Stone
Merfolk- Ice and water
Dragons- Fire
Precursors created certain creatures, but others were created by the other races through magic or other means.
Technology = medieval; Clothing = mix of modern and medieval
Mercenary guilds- Major crime syndicates in the region. Responsible for assassinations, thefts, murders, kidnappings, ransoms, and other crimes.
Dragonslayers- Underground group devoted to killing dragons... and any dragon hybrids.
Draconium- Ore eaten by dragons to strengthen their scales, while remaining lightweight. Can be smelted into Draconite metal, which can be used to make weapons and armor. Typically dark grey in color, but can come in other forms
- Red: Known for its sheer durability and heat resistance.
- White: Known for cold resistance, as well as boosting properties of white magic.
- Blue: Known for its ability to adapt to different environments, and a good, all-around type of Draconite.
- Green: Known for its ability to bend and reflect light to match the wearer’s background.
- Black: Known for boosting black magic, further boosted at night.
- Platinum: Extremely rare, even more so than gold. Boosts healing abilities.
- Gold: The purest known Draconite, it amplifies light, allowing the wearer to use pseudo-magic.

Name: Blaze Keyes
Age: 18
Appearance: Blaze, as his name implies, has dark red hair (like Pyrrha in RWBY or Starfire in Teen Titans) and bright green eyes. He wears black, armored boots and black pants, a dark red shirt and a black, hooded cloak. He has silver armor plates on his shins, upper arms (plates resemble Hayabusa shoulders from Halo 3), and on his forearms. Although not very tall, he has very broad shoulders. In addition to this, he has red and gold dragon wings sprouting from his back, and on each side of his spine is a shallow depression where he can tuck them in. He has a quiver of arrows on his lower back, below his wings, and a scar on his left jaw.
Personality: Usually somewhat quiet, preferring to keep to himself. However, he has a strong sense of justice and right and wrong. He is respectful of most creatures (with the exception of the undead), especially dragons. He tends to avoid people because of his heritage, and the fact that he is hunted because of who he is.
Biography: Blaze’s past is one that very few know about. His father was a dragon that fell in love with a human woman. He assumed human form, and the two married. However, they had to travel around because his father was hunted. However, in a final fight, his father died protecting his family, allowing them to escape. But they could never stay in one place for too long. Despite this, Blaze received a good education, as well as learning how to fight and hunt, as well as control his abilities. However, he decided on his last birthday that he’d strike out on his own, making sure that his mother wasn’t in any danger. Since then, he’s been wandering the continent.
Abilities/Powers: Enhanced strength/speed/endurance/senses/agility, flight, firebreathing, hand-to-hand and close-quarters combat, archery
Weapons: Multipurpose blades (function as swords and blade tonfa; forged from Platinum Draconite and silver), dagger (forged from Platinum Draconite and silver), bow and arrow (arrowheads are forged from Platinum Draconite and silver)
