Okay, so now there's Bad Cop and Bureaucratic Cop. Someone give the poor lady a Good Cop! Also, clark, in my post I may have made a little a few quite a few many a whole damn lot of assumptions about how the White Guard works. If you find something in it you don't like, or if you had something different in mind, just let me know and I'll make the necessary changes.

They were reasonable assumptions: more danger should equate to more pay. It's bold and insubordinate for a low-ranking member to basically threaten a client of abandoning their contract when that person doesn't actually have the authority to make that call, but it does make for some fun conflict. ^ _ ^

Hahaha, true. As an aside, I'm making a mental note to align the universe in the future to somehow let Marcel have a horse of his own. As well as bring in more characters with nice calves, as that seems to be the only thing Adele responds positively to.

Aww yiss. I'm just gonna say it, cause it might not have been clear 'cause I'm a bad writer, but Marcel's whole mental spiel on living in the woods may or may not have been genuine, he probably wouldn't go live on his own. Tried to play into his whole "finding his identity as a man" thing; probably have a few more of those fantastical episodes down the road. But the horse thing was genuine. Giff horse.

Just a heads up because I finally got a date for this- on March 9th I will be leaving with my family to go to England for 2 weeks- 1st week in Reading 2nd week in downtown London. I don't think the trip itself will mess too badly with my post schedule, but I won't really know for sure until we get over there. Wanted to say something now in case I somehow forgot. But if anyone is from/has been there and has any sort of recommendations of things to do/see, I'm all ears.

How's your job going, Hank? You feeling better, Commodore? How's the internet, Neon? I don't know what sites you ought to see in London, Churro, the only thing I remember were the street musicians, but not where :( Does anyone need me to do more in the IC? I've been snowed in for the past 3 days so I've got a little cabin fever.

I've been waiting around as well, but I daresay the time has given me ample thought towards my next post. I might get one out tonight despite catching some internet troubles mysellf. Also, that last post was an attempt at an intelligent Adele. Hopefully I didn't overdo it.

How's your job going, Hank?
The man in charge of evaluating the applicants for said promotion has been struck with illness for the past week, so I'm unfortunately left in limbo for a while longer. Things are good, though. Someone who works at the department in question told me that only two of the six applicants, myself and a coworker of mine, have any shot at getting the position, so my odds are good.
Also, that last post was an attempt at an intelligent Adele. Hopefully I didn't overdo it.
