Alyssia paced up and down her chambers and then slipped on a dress that was laid out for her, she had died her hair a black colour before she left Terrasen, she then slipped out of her chambers and down to the Royal Dining Hall. Her guard following her every step down to the Royal Dining Hall, Jeez she didn't want or need Chaol Westfall to protect her she was quite adequately trained in the Art of killing.

Aery sighed. The clock bells were chiming, which meant one hour to dinner. "My maids are probably looking for me. Got to go put the hair extensions in, and that sort of thing." She hesitated, and then kissed Rowan again lightly. "Thank you so much, for everything, Rowan." Then she got to her feet and went to go submit herself to the maid's makeup skills.
Ame was looking through her wardrobe angrily. As Mage Chancellor, she had to wear an appropriately magic-looking outfit. However, the idea of magic to the people was a pretty young woman wearing form-fit, revealing robes, and Ame quite simply could not pull that off.
Finally in exasperation she used her powers to construct a gown fit for a young lady. Purple, obviously. Long, narrow skirt, for a mature air. Sweetheart neckline with glowing silver runes on it. elbow-length flutter sleeves, for her youth. Beads dangling from the sleeves and hem. A sash with more silver runes, and a bit of magic so that the dress would seem like it was constantly shedding dark-purple magic and silver sparkles everywhere she went. Ame admired her handiwork, then put the dress on. Left her hair in it's natural ringlets, held back out of her face by several pins with more runes on them. Mages were supposed to be eclectic, and she certainly proved that, and proved her own mental capacities went far beyond those of an average four-year-old.
Silly didn't want to go to the party, but she had to. After much consideration she settled on tight leggings and a knee-length tunic, slit up the sides so that she could still move freely. She was allowed to have weapons in the presence of the Queen, one of the few who were, and made the most of it; the tiny silver dagger necklace Aery had given to her, daggers on her belt and a short sword (which still looked like a broadsword in her tiny hands) Silver hairpins that were sharp enough to be used as weapons if need-be. Daggers, three inside each boot. Armed to the teeth, she finally nodded in approval at her own appearance and headed out into the hall to find Ame and Aery.

Alyssia seen them coming and greeted them as they came out " Hello Your Highness I hop tonight would be ever so adequate" She bowed slightly then smiled to Aery. Her first thoughts of Aery were 'Thank the gods that you became queen' and then walked with the queen " My queen wants to become a Royal Partner to Adarlans Empire and would give a fifty thousand gold tribute to maintain this partnership" She spoke softly noticing the small bump on Her tummy

Aery smiled as well, keeping her face blank, when inside she was panicking because the lady used such a different mouth-shape for her words than Aery was used to. Ame, having come out of her room, saw the problem and hastily poked into Aery's mind to tell her what had been said.
Trying not to let her relief show, Aery shook her head. "Tell your queen that she honors me beyond measure. But it is I who owe the fifty thousand gold pieces to her, as some small reparation for what my uncle did to her people, and that I would pay it more than gladly." Then she shifted uncomfortably as Alyssia's eyes took in the faint baby-bump.
Ame went to brush past the two women. Seeing her Aery motioned for her to stop. Silly came up too.
"Silenia, Amethystia, wait a moment, please. I present Lady Alyssia Icethorn of Terrasen, ambassador to Her Majesty Aelin Galathynius. Lady Alyssia, Captain Silenia Earthwatcher of the Adarlan royal guard and of the Adarlan Whitehawks." She named her own rather ironically-named spy organization. "And Lady Amethystia Starseer, the Chancellor of Mages for all of Adarlan and a council member of the Erilean Mages Society." Silly bowed and Ame curtsied deeply. In doing so, Silly pressed a tiny vial into Aery's hand and Ame pressed the thought of It will quite possibly restore your hearing. Silly spent a good amount of blood money on it, and got you-know-who to charm it, so it should restore whatever is wrong. Hiding her trembles, Aery clutched the vial tightly, and smiled pleasantly, if blandly, at the Terrasen ambassador.

"My queen insists you take the tribute if you can" alyssia smiled then quickly spied the Vial trading hands, but didn't show any sign that she'd seen it, She then looked to the people that had just been announced "My Queen understands that you still have them by your side" she said while looking around to see if any one was watching them, on her cloak was a picture of a white bird of prey. The sign was quite famous now and only a legend bore it with dignity

And of course all hopes of remaining calm were shattered when she saw the embroidered hawk. Only one person she knew of would willingly wear that symbol. "Aelin. But no..." She shook her head, smiling back at the ambassador. "My apologies for the lapse in concentration. They've been at my side since the very beginning. They claimed me, and I claimed them." Not exactly talking about the girls, but Celaena would understand what she was really referring to, herself being claimed by Celaena and Rowan. "As far as the compensation, I should hate for our enemies to think that I was bribed into an alliance, but it comes at a welcome time. Our treasury is down to coppers with the expenses of my uncle."

"Then the Adarlan little ripper should contemplate this offer" She added and beckoning her to walk with her " Shall we dine?" She asked as she entered the dining hall and sat down in a seat, where she took in her surroundings and seen guards, silently using her mouth to number them all Alyssia could take them down before they gave an alert to ring the bell

Aery froze, the hand not clutching the vial seizing up into a fist so hard that the nails dug into her palm. How would she know that name...unless... She forced the thought out of her head. "Consider it considered." she whispered. "And I accept this most generous offer. We shall iron out the agreements tomorrow. For now let us dine; let us eat and be merry." For tomorrow we might all be dead. But she wouldn't say it out loud.
Ame wiggled her fingers. I know who you are, "Lady Alyssia". Your eyes would give you away to Aery if she were not preoccupied. As would your constant references to hawks and little rippers. Whether it is your intention to make yourself known or not, either quit making such subtle hints entirely, or just outright tell her. She has too many other problems to worry about than to also unravel the mystery of your identity. And no, I won't tell her myself. That's up to you.

Rowan found the Royal Hall and seen his Queen Aery and immediately sensed another Fae presence in this room and looked the new person, Royal Faes could mask their power but not completely hide it and knew it was Celaena, He looked to Ame and mouthed the word ' Celaena? ' he was confused at this wasn't Celaena meant to be in Terrasen doing her own duties over there

Ame nodded, flicked a thought into his mind. Most definitely. Who else would have the "fairest eyes of legends old"? Who else would have "Eyes of blue, ringed with gold?" Aery is going to flip when she figures this out. Also. Ansel spelled a potion for her... The note says "To fix all of your problems"... I'm going to make Aery wait until after dinner to take it, because I don't know exactly what it is. There's something to reconstruct vanished flesh and some sort of hair-growth agent, which I have no idea why she put in there, and... Something else. Almost like a fertility charm but inside out. I can't explain it any better than that, but... Could you take a look before we let Aery drink it?

Due to being found out by Ame, Celaena disabled her Fae Concealment spell, revealing her true face to Aery "Miss me, daughter" she smiled, but It was worth it being found out by Ame, she was happy she was in the presence of Aery " I see you have did something quite substantial in your career" and then hugged Ame " I knew you would find Me out Ame." She ruffled Aerys hair and Ames hair quite happily

Aery's eyes went really wide and she stumbled, both hands clapped over her mouth. "Celaena. Oh my gods, it IS you. I thought it was. Oh gods I missed you." And she flung herself at Celaena, wrapping her arms around her neck. "Why aren't you in Terrasen? Is everything okay?!" She was crying again, her makeup running down her face in streams.

" Things were calm in Terrasen" She said happily and then looked to Ame and smiled, God Celaenas emotions were running wild but she was happy to be near Aery " Why didn't you figure out my hints, I made it easy" she looked to Rowan and smiled at him but he didn't return the smile , "and I've had that guy hunted down and killed for the publics sake " she added to reassure her

"I'm a little preoccupied. I don't know what I'm going to do about this... If the public realizes. My reputation would be discredited and I would be thrown out as a silly, naive girl trying to do a woman's job." She bit her lip to force herself to focus. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be harping on it, I know, just... It's been so hard without you to talk to about what I'm going to do. Also, since I can drop formal pretenses now." She turned to Ame. "Did Ansel really say that it would solve All my problems? Because... It would be like her to try to poison me. Also, Silly? Where did you get the blood money that you bought this with?"
Silly shoved Ame hard. "Ye weren't s'posed t' tell er tha twas from blood money!" To Aery, she spoke nervously. "Celaena gave me a contract for one o' her enemies in th' city, an' I did as I were bid, an' the reward fer me services were... 1000 gold? An' tha twas a couple months ago, an' I only just got the chance t' explain t' Ansel what I wanted to get fer ye, an' it took her about three weeks t' get the potion made up exactly right."
Ame giggled. "The potion's not a poison, that much I know. But.. Don't take it at dinner, because I can't figure out what exactly is in it and it would be bad if it made you have a mental breakdown or something in front of all your people."
Aery rolled her eyes at Celaena, like See what I've had to deal with? but she was so happy to have all her family back together that she started crying again. Freaking hell, she desperately needed to get herself back under control. But then, she'd not been under control for about three months.

Celaena took the vial and waved her nose over it and nodded to agree it wasn't a poison and gave it back to Aery, "It is safe to consume and what are we having to eat, I'm rather famished" Celaena asked Aery and began to get fidgety due to starvation and her stomach was thinner than usual and her facial features off colour " I heard Ame has learned Kemiya, the magic of creating and destroying dark magic artefacts and siphoning the power of dead witches to further enhance her magic and strength capabilities."

Aery finally realized how hungry her guest was. She never got hungry herself, anymore, and ate less and less at every meal. "Oh, gods. Sorry, Celaena. Dinner will be starting in like five minutes... We should go take our places now." She felt her hair and cursed. But at once Lilly came up with the crown. "I did no realize you'd fergotten it, m'lady, not 'till you was already out th' door." She stretched up on tiptoe and settled the tiara into Aery's head, then giggled, blushed, and hurried out to her place among the servants.
Aery groaned as she realized it was time. She hated public appearances. She led the others out onto the dais at the head of the hall and assumed her seat to much clapping. "Oh, for the gods' sake." she thought to herself. "Won't everyone just shut up?"
Not as long as they've got a thirteen-year-old queen. Ame thought into her head, quite smugly. The herald called out Celaena's pseudonym and a servant motioned her to the seat at Aery's right. Rowan to the seat on her left, and the other council members filed in around them. The first course was sent around just as soon as all the nobles were seated. Aery made sure to look hard at Celaena when their bowls were filled, for it was Celaena's favorite stew. Just as she'd planned, on the irrational hope that the ambassador shared Celaena's tastes.
Aery herself only took a little and barely ate any of it... She felt quite ill, like anything she ate might come up a second later. Nothing to do with the baby, Aery. You're just having a bad day and it'll only be worse if you don't eat anything... She plastered a smile onto her face, ate a few spoonfuls of soup, winced and forced it back down when it threatened to come up. She prayed Ansel's potion could help her, because she couldn't rule a kingdom when dying of starvation.
Ame, sitting on Celaena's other side, was all too happy to start chattering about Kemiya. "Well, I'm not very good at it, because I feel so... dirty... after using it. But it's so useful, some of the time at least."

"And what about Representational magic " Celaena picked up her spoon and dipped into the stew for a moment and it appeared a moment later with meat and gravy, she trailed it to her mouth, and let out a sound like she was enjoying the Stew " So how does Queen Arienna fare in these times" She looked to Rowan and smiled at for just a few months ago, she caught him with Her STUDENT and obviously she beat the living day lights out of him

Ame giggled at Celaena's question. "I'm as good as Ansel. Maybe even a bit better. I came up with a representational labyrinth that even she can't get out of. She knows she's in a representation still, but she can't make it do enough of a logical fallacy to actually break it. And I can break most of hers."
Silly nudged Rowan with an elbow. "Wedding or something?" she whispered. "Don't think I don't see you looking at her. You'll give it away to the common folk if you don't settle down." Her eyebrows rose. "Oh, what do you know? I'm actually talking like a noble."
Aery, watching Celaena's lips out of the corner of her eye, saw the way Celaena looked at Rowan and quickly looked down at her stew to hide her blush. "I'm doing alright. Nightmares as ever, really bad headaches during the day and I can't eat very much of anything or it all comes back up. But I'm alright. How are you?" She wanted to scream, I'm pregnant and I'm unmarried and soon the people will start asking questions! How do you think I'm doing?! but she held her tongue, knowing it was just hormones that made her want to be so foolish.

Celaena felt a tremendous respect flow over her and immediately shut the hell up to stop embarrassing her self furthermore, after a few more spoonfuls of stew it was finished and she reached for a table napkin and carefully wiped any excess stew that happened to fall off her spoon and onto her face, She felt a slight hole being filled in her tummy and bowed her head slightly at Aery,Ame and Silly " So Amethystia what other types of magic have you learned from Ansella"

Wordlessly Aery poured the rest of her stew into Celaena's bowl. "I'm not hungry. You go ahead and enjoy it."
Ame giggled. "All sorts. My favorites are the psychological magics, especially the representational psychological magics, the ones where you create a realistic seeming of something that's in someone's head. I'm really good at those, even better than I am at the purely representational ones."
