"I'm sure the TARDIS will be happy to see you once you go and see her when you're fully able to travel. Which reminds me." Caitlyn said and took the key and the paper from her pocket and put them in his jacket. "You really shouldn't leave these laying around Doctor." She said not at all certain what she would have done had her house mates saw that. She then looks at Jack a bit of a sympathetic look on her face. "I heard that hurts. I'm sorry you had to go through that." She said honestly. It was one of many horrible ways to die.

The Doctor looked surprised when she handed them too "I wondered where those had got to, didn't see I had dropped them, The mind does get fuzzy when ill I suppose." He mumbled. He was looking at Jack. "Ah suppose the lucky bit is it didn't really kill you truly." He yawned "I'm going to nap."
Jack was looking at him "I'm glad you decided to get some sleep." He replied. He knew his friend needed to get some sleep.

"Have good dreams." Caitlyn blessed with a smile cleaning up the mess she had made with the meal she cooked.
"Would you like to sleep on the couch or on a bed? I'm sure the guest bed you used the last time you were sick is still ready for use." Rose offers kindly as she had made sure it was clean. She hadn't been able to fight the hope that the Doctor would come back for her someday and her prayers had come true. She then smiles at Jack. "Make yourself comfortable and don't be afraid to ask for anything while you're here. Alright? You were after all cordially invited to Cat's birthday."

The Doctor was looking at Rose "Bed would be better, think couch would hurt my back after too long." He chuckled. He gets up and yawned a bit. He was rather tired and finding it hard to not fall asleep where he was , He gets up slowly and heads to the bedroom to lay down. He literally fell onto the bed and was out like a light, he breathed deeply and rolled on his side.
"MMM guess he'd be exhausted after being that sick," Jack exclaimed. He then looked at Rose and smiled, He was still eating "Ah aright." He nodded a bit. He didn't seem as unsure now.

Rose smiles and left to pull the blankets over the Doctor as well as leave Jack and Caitlyn alone. Now that would be a fascinating relationship bloom but then she was hit with the knowledge that Jack was just as immortal as the Doctor was biting her lip. She shook her head refusing to believe that this wouldn't work. So she decided from then on, not to think about it again. After all, can't jinx it that way can she? Caitlyn came out of the kitchen stopping in her steps when she found that she and Jack were alone uncertain of what she should do. She figured she felt about as lost as Alice in that wood of Directions to No Where.

Jack was looking at her once she walked back in, he was pleased that the Doctor was getting some rest. He knew that the man needed it. He was sure even time lords were meant to sleep like normal people.
"Its good hes getting sleep. He looked ready to pass out on the couch from exhaustion." He noticed she looked lost.
"Everything ok Rose.?" He asked her.

Caitlyn chuckles a bit. "I look like my cousin now eh? Don't know if I should be afraid or flattered that you think we look entirely alike." She teased stretching out as she sat down thinking about it for a moment. "No, I don't think anything's wrong. But if I do come up with something I'm sure I'll let you know...oh wait, I'm in a room by myself with a flirtatious captain where no one can bother us. There, I figured it out." She said having paused for dramatic effect before continuing with her sentience.

Jack just laughed and looked at her "Sorry," He smiled, He wondered if maybe he was a little tired too. He though looked at her and just nodded. "so take it you just met the Doctor? He's a lot more fun when hes not sick trust me." He knew that once the Doctor was better, he would be wanting to drag them all out travelling across space, He wondered if Caitlyn would come.
The Doctor was sleeping, he started to have bad dreams and he was sweating and crying.

Rose caressed his head making a soft shushing noise trying to sooth the Doctor's nightmare. "Don't worry about it. It's not real Doctor." She said softly.
"Well technically I kind of knew who he was when I took him to the hospital yesterday. But really the blue police box should have been my first hint when I found him laying on the ground unconscious. But I figured he'd be a little more fun when he got better. After all, I do have Rose who told me everything about her own adventures with him. I can't wait until he starts exploring space again. I hope he won't mind if I tag along an adventure or two. After all, I do have to have a least a few in the TARDIS after having been inside her." She said an excited glitter in her eyes. "My previous encounter with an alien species doesn't count." She said with a wave as if it were nothing that she had been almost been a play thing for an alien species.

JAck chuckled a bit "I'm sure he'd be happy to have you come along. He needs the company, Last time he was with more people he seemed happier, But I suppose long as he still has Rose he is happy." He knew that the Doctor needed his friends. "The TARDIS is big enough." He said thoughtfully. He also wondered what he was going to have planned for them.
The Doctor was sweating, he was dreaming of the time war and he kicked off all the covers. He awoke gasping and sweating. He was looking around where he was, he seemed to look like his nightmare was bothering him.

Rose put a hand onto the Doctor's shoulder. "There there. It was just a nightmare. Its all over now." She said looking at his face and guessing what his nightmare had been about. She hoped he still didn't beat himself up for surviving when everyone else had died. If he had died they never would have met, Jack would have died for real of starvation.
"I don't blame him after all they love each other." Caitlyn said with a smile a bit jealous of that. "And as long as Rose has the Doctor she's happy too."

The Doctor was looking at her "Of the time war ..." He knew she would have guessed that "I only survived that war, because I ended it, I destroyed my own planet and people Rose," He lived with so much regret about it all "It was either that or the rest of the universe would have been in trouble." he held onto her for awhile "I regret it and wish there had been another way."
"HHaha yeah seems like." Jack smiled. He wondered if the Doctor had ever said those words.

Rose softly placed a kiss onto his forehead. "I suppose everyone suffers through the 'what ifs' of life. Yet I'm glad that you're here Doctor. It brought me a whole lot of adventure and trouble, but I wouldn't trade it for the world." She said honestly with a smile.
"To be honest, I'm a bit jealous of them." Caitlyn admits not really sure why she said that, but she trusted Jack with the information she just gave him. Odd, but she supposed that after so many people telling her random things, she should let one of her own deepest feelings out.

Jack was looking at her "Yeah..... guess I am too, though I don't think I am over my attractions for him ." He admitted. He was looking around "I'm glad they are happy together though," He would never wish to tear them apart from each other. "But guess the Doctor is like that, most people he meets fall for him,"
The Doctor was looking at her, He hugged her gently. "I'm glad I am here too, I would have been so lonley without you and you did make me a better man, I was so angry and wanted revenge on the Daleks... ," He coughed a little and curled up near her.

Caitlyn laughs. "Aw bummer Jack. If you had tried to get the Doctor I'd kick your ass." She said with a smile but she was perfectly serious. If someone ever tried pushing Rose and the Doctor away from the other, she would go postal on them. "Well I didn't. But I suppose that's because I knew Rose was still pinning for him. I do my best to stay away from the taken ones cause once I know they are taken my admiration dims." She said crossing her legs. Rose was a bit surprised that she did have such a good influence on the Doctor. She wrapped her arms around him returning his hug. "Well I'm happy I provided you with such a good change in you. And I'm here." She could at least promise that much to the Doctor. For as long as she could get rid of his loneliness she wouldn't mind being by his side.

"I won't try take him from her, I may be a flirt, But I am not going to break up my two good friends, they changed my life in ways I am thankful for, The Doctor always does that," Jack looked at her "Sometimes he sees it as a bad thing in the end, I know he feels like he ruined mine with the immortal bit, But I was a coward and con man before I met him." He went on, He really did seem thankful for all the Doctor did.
He smiled looking at Caitlyn, he knew the Doctor was always lonely and was glad he had Rose right now.
The Doctor closed his eyes and lay against her, he was still rather tired. "Yeah you did. And when I am not so ill and tired, if you still want to come with me, We can all go somewhere, Think be nice to take your cousin along and have Jack back by our side don't you think? Only if your ok with it." He knew Jack was lonely and it would be wrong to leave him behind.

"Yeah I heard about your con business. But it's nice to know that you had a good side to you all along. Which is I'm sure the reason why they saved your butt from that exploding ship of yours." Caitlyn said honestly for Rose wouldn't risk her life for just anyone or just have anyone going along her and the Doctor. And in fact, she could tell as well that despite his being a flirt, he did have a goodness there. Rose smiles happily.
"I would love to have Caitlyn and Jack joining in once we go out to space again!" She said excitedly. Now not only did she get to once more travel in time and space but so did Caitlyn who had wanted to do so ever since hearing the adventures. "Besides Cat is the age I was when I started space exploration. It's her turn now to start somewhere." She said allowing him to rest against her if he wanted to sleep again. "And besides, you're the one who says who can enter the TARDIS or not. She and you are connected after all." She added on as an afterthought.

"I was worried you wouldn't want to share that experience with your cousin, " The Doctor was smiling. "I know having family around can be a bit annoying sometimes, Though I know Jack is lonely and will just go back to Cardiff by himself if we don't bring him along, I don't like the thought of him being lonely." He said quietly. He yawned and was starting to fall asleep.
"MMm yeah, I didn't think there was good in me anymore before that." JAck replied. He wondered how much Rose had spoke about and he was looking at her, he wondered if Rose had mentioned about him kissing the Doctor and her.

"Can't have that can we?" Rose asked softly in order not to rouse the sleepy Doctor. She didn't want Jack alone neither. He was a delight to be around and with Caitlyn around, Rose was pretty sure that the two of them would get together. She wanted to be around when that happened.
"Hmm. Perhaps, but I don't think so. If you really weren't good inside, I don't think my cousin would have wanted you to travel with her and the Doctor. And I can see it there. Maybe you just needed someone to show you that you still had it." She theorised stretching out.

The Doctor lay there and soon was sleeping again. He lay his head on Rose, he looked exhausted and pale. He was breathing heavily as he lay there. He still looked somewhat sick, but nowhere near as bad.
He snuggled up to her and slept.
Jack was looking at her "Yeah ...., Id lost 2 years of my memory, taken by the time agency... The Doctor didn't trust me when we met and I thought maybe there was a good reason not to, Maybe id done something bad. But you are right."
