Arabella heard someone next to her and she tilted her face in the persons direction, quickly figuring out the person was male when he spoke. She was about to reply when he yelled and she yelped, flinching back at the startling noise. Her sightless eyes widened and she gazed in what she hoped was his direction.

Realizing that he had probably scared the girl to death, Nahite focused his attention back to her. He noticed that she was flinching and her eyes were wide open glaring at him. "Oh my gosh I didn't mean to scare you! I'm so sorry!" He said, trying to gain her trust. "What's your name miss? Mine is Nahite." With a huge smile on his face, he had hoped she would be at ease.
Arabella blinked and slowly let her tensed shoulders relax. She was staring in his direction but if one looked close enough they could see that her eyes were unfocused, unseeing. "I-I'm Arabella." She said in a soft voice.

"Well it's nice to meet you Arabella! You look kind of lost, and you look kind of young. You probably shouldn't be out here in the open. C'mon, follow me into town." He said, realizing that she had relaxed a little.
the people inside the barn had rushed outside, and somehow ignored the village behind them to go save the cat-who turned out to be a girl. Ivy shrugged. Things could be weirder. Deciding the situation was under control Ivy turned around and headed back into town.
Arabella slowly picked herself up off the ground and stoo there hesitantly, cat ears flickering nervously as she stared sightlessly ahead.

"Here i'll help you. You looked like you were having trouble making your way around. Are you hurt?" Nahite asked Arabella.
Arabella shook her head. "N-No, I am not h-hurt." She said in a quiet voice.
"Well, you don't sound that sure" Kaleel said. "How about you tell us about you once we get back to the warehouse".
Arabella nodded at that but remained in the same place, having no clue where the warehouse or anywhere was for that matter. Of all the times her "sight" had to not work it had to be when she needed it.

"Hey Kaleel, you have my back pack right? Could you hand it to me for a second?" Nahite asked, hoping Kaleel had grabbed his stuff from the campsite. "You look upset about something Arabella." He said, glaring into her eyes. They had a slight cloudiness to them which made Nahite curious. "Can you see okay?"
"It's back in the warehouse" Kaleel said. "Do you want me to run and get it?" Kaleel asked.

"Nah that's okay. Help me bring Arabella back. I'm sure she could use some rest, and something to eat." Nahite replied. "Don't worry Arabella, you are in safe hands."
Arabella fidgetted, eyes casting downwards. "W-Well...I uh..c-can't see at all. I can a-at times, in h-here" She tapped a finger against her temple, cheeks turning pink. "B-But it doesnt a-always work, l-like now for instance." She said, her voice getting quieter with every stammered word she said.

"Like an inner sight? I think that is pretty cool!" Nahite exclaimed, smiling. He reached out and set his hand on Arabella's, "Take my hand and i'll guide you back to the warehouse. I have some supplies and tasty snacks if you are hungry." Nahite said in a very soothing, melodic voice.
Arabella gave a timid smile in the direction of his voice and shyly took his hand.

Nahite blushed, "I've never held a girls hand before", he thought to himself. "So Anabella, are you aware of what has happened?" he asked as they walked back to the warehouse.
When Ivy walked back into the town, it was a chaotic mess. Even by the standards of present day, it was tiny, but the few buildings that were there had been pillaged in hopes of hoarding supplies or similar intent, and anybody who had survived was obviously staying out of sight for the time being. The young girl made her way towards an abandoned house, but halfway there, Ivy saw someone moving out of the corner of her eye.
Arabella followed after him, trusting him to not let her fall or stumble as they walked across the ground. "Well, I remember hearing a loud explosion before I fell unconscious. What little I saw before my sight left was not a pretty sight." She answered.

Guy stayed away from all the commotion slamming his fist on the rocks in front of him. The other miners disliked him and wouldn't give him a pickax. His fist were bloody but he continued to slam his hands hard against the rock in front of him, as he was alive only to do so.
