"I don't give a damn anymore, Isaac. He already knows much about my personal details and more things I'd rather keep under wraps. Even if we remove his bugs, it's not going to change anything," Hayley replied, still seething with burning fury. She grabbed her can of beer and, in a fit of anger, tossed it against the plasma screen TV as hard as she could, not caring about the damage she had caused to the poor electronic item. "I'm going home to exhume every inch of my place, but if you want to stay longer to dig out some information, go ahead and don't let me stop you," she said to him, not wanting her anger to obstruct his quest for answers. "I just don't want to deal with this gold-coated dick anymore." The blonde left hastily after saying that, her body shaking from the sheer amount of rage she was withholding.

Isaac watches Hayley leave for a few moments, only to get up and follow her. As he leaves, Sean reappears and says, "If it's any consolation, I only bugged the kitchen, where you guys spent most of your time. I only know as much about her as you do." Isaac turns to him, giving him as cold of a glare as he can muster, and says, "No, it's not a consolation. you shouldn't have done it in the first place." Turning around, he walks to the elevator and takes it down, only to break out into a run once the doors open again. After leaving the building, he looks around and sees the tell-tale blonde hair topping Hayley's head as she walks away, which he runs after. Once he catches up, he gently places his hand on her shoulder and says, "Hey. Although you can take care of yourself, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I let you walk home alone?"

Hayley didn't expect Isaac to actually run after her and let go of his chance to find out more about himself, so she stopped on reflex when she felt his hand touching her shoulder, causing her to turn to her side. Mustering a small smile despite her boiling temper, the blonde sighed and muttered, "I just want to go home... My mouth feels cold." She glanced down to see wispy and faint black mist from her mouth. In hopes that she could calm herself down, she began taking deep breaths and gently blowing out the black mist like a cold breath of air, finding a tiny measure of amusement in the stream of black mist. Her eyes slowly turned from their black-and-gold coloration to her normal white-and-steely-blue coloration.

Isaac can't help but smile, watching Hayley breathe out wisps of shadow like a child in the middle of winter, watching their breath steam out of their nose and mouth. Once she seemed to calm down enough, he wraps his arms around her and says, "That's more like it. I've always thought your eyes looked better like this." Chuckling, he pecks her nose before stepping beside her. Taking her hand, he walks with his girlfriend down the street toward their home, feeling his mood lighten just by being with her.

"Huh? My what?" Hayley slurred, unaware that her eyes had changed color in her fit of anger, but her question was promptly forgotten when Isaac reached for her hand and she soon followed him like a curious kitten back home. Once they were safe inside, Hayley began the extensive work on finding every single bug Sean had left in her place. "How did he get those in anyway?! As far as I know, I didn't leave the door-" Pausing abruptly, she recalled the one night when she had tried to keep Isaac away from the fighting ring and slapped her own forehead, realizing that he could had entered during that period. "Chalk that one up my not-so-great list," she muttered.

"I wouldn't worry about it," Isaac says, crushing the bugs he and Vincent found in his hand. "It was a long time ago and I don't think he's gonna try again any time soon, especially after seeing the angry you." Chuckling lightly, he walks over to her and helps her find the rest of the bugs before destroying them. "Pretty sure that's it," he says as he walks back into the kitchen. "You hungry? I could cook up an easy dinner, if you want."

As much as she would like to have a bite out of Isaac's delicious dinner, Hayley didn't feel hungry anymore, partly because of her still simmering anger and partly because of the food provided for them at the deli. "I don't feel like eating anything after all this shit. To be honest, I'm surprised he hasn't tried to flip me over, seeing that he's been saying multiple times about how he could slap my ass back and forth." A brief moment later and she slowly chuckled, realizing how her words had come out. "Gee, I do need a break... He's driving me up the wall in multiple ways, none of which are good."

Isaac looks back at Hayley and shuts the fridge before walking up to her and pulling her into a loving hug. "It's alright, Hayley. There's always that person who just annoys the hell out of you. For me, it's Vincent. You, it's Sean, Arlia, and pretty much anyone else you don't like. Let's just spend the rest of the day relaxing. Maybe watch some movies or take a nap or something. How's that sound?"

"A movie would be nice... Any good action movie going on or something? Heck, I'd watch a kid's show just to get that jackass off my head," Hayley replied with a murmur as she was pulled into a calming hug, courtesy of Isaac. "How are we going to watch movies, though? I don't think I have a TV or anything like that. I could be wrong, given that I've been out for a period of time..." Giving him a curious look, Hayley was wondering what Isaac himself had in mind for their relaxation activity, somewhat glad that he was trying his best to put her mind at ease.

Isaac chuckles bashfully and says, "Oh, I was thinking you had a TV in your room, which is why I suggested it. As it stands right now, we don't really have the money to go out and watch a movie, either..." After thinking for a few moments, he then suggests, "How about you and I just head to one of our rooms and relax for awhile? Today was pretty stressful after meeting Sean, so I think some time spent unwinding could be good for us. What do you think?"

Hayley nodded quietly and replied, sounding very winded, "Yeah... That would be a great idea, Isaac. At this point, I'd rather rest and let my head cool down. It feels like it's going to burn out anytime soon." Groaning as she rubbed the bridge of her nose, she uncertainly looked at both of their rooms, wondering whose room the pair would eventually decide to use. "I'm fine if you want to relax in my room, but you get the final call in any case," she said, almost timidly at that, to him.

Isaac thinks for a moment, ignoring Vincent's cries of approval and his urging to take it farther once they were in there. Deciding it would be better for Hayley, since it would hopefully make her less nervous, he says, "Alright, let's head to your room, then." Smiling softly, he takes her hand and walks the short distance to her room, his heart pounding in his chest as he realizes that it was the first time, that he could remember, being in a woman's room. Once in there, he lets Hayley sit down on her bed, but remains standing, unsure of whether or not to sit on the floor or try his luck sitting next to her on the bed.

Hayley calmed down once she once again returned to the familiar comfort of her bed, then took notice of Isaac's tense and fidgety body language. Chuckling softly, she scooted to the side and patted the unoccupied side of the bed. "Sit down. I'm not gonna make ya sit on the damn floor!" she said to him with a bemused grin. While this was the first time she let a man into her bedroom who wasn't connected by blood, she realized that she wasn't as apprehensive and as nervous of his presence as she thought she would. "I guess we're both just that nervous, huh? Who knew?" she shyly murmured as she looked down at the floor.

Isaac chuckles and sits down next to Hayley, albeit somewhat hesitantly, his nervousness making him act somewhat like a rabbit about ready to take off. It's funny, Vincent says. Considering all of the people we've killed, you'd think you'd be a cold, hardened badass who wasn't swayed by anything. Yet, here you are, almost shaking like a leaf just because you're in Hayley's room! You're an embarrassment! However, the close proximity of his girlfriend quickly pushes his nerves to the wayside, letting him calm down. Looking around, he points out the obvious and says, "So...this is your room, huh? It's nice."

The blonde only shrugged in response, nonchalantly replying as she looked at her own room, containing only the bare bones of necessary bedroom requirement, "Meh, it's pretty barren, if you ask me." Despite being content to survive with what she had, she would be a hypocrite if she said that she wouldn't want a bigger and more comfy bedroom for herself. "Y'know, as much as I hate that bastard, his house really did make my place look like a dumpster, but I guess that's what he can afford with all the money he seems to be swimming in so happily..." Shaking her head, she turned back to Isaac and smiled, asking, "So... What do you want to talk about? We've got lots of topics we can cover tonight."

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind having that kind of cash, either," Isaac says with a chuckle, taking Hayley's hand as the last traces of his nerves disappear completely. Hearing her ask what they should talk about, Isaac suddenly finds his mind going blank, except for Vincent giving some suggestions, none of which Isaac felt were necessarily healthy for a relationship as young as theirs. Eventually, Isaac turns to Hayley and asks, "What do you think Arlia and the Medici's are up to? We haven't heard anything from them in awhile, so I'm kinda concerned."

"Probably staying back in the shadows and scheme like the mafia bastards they are. That, and I bet Arlia's busy training herself so she could claim your head, or your body, whichever one she prefers..." Hayley shuddered as she imagine the auburn-haired woman having Isaac at her beck and call. "They may have the manpower, but they're not stupid enough to pursue us so mindlessly. They'd most likely ambush us when we least expect it, so we both have to stay sharp," the blonde said to him, remembering the extent of the injuries she inflicted on her when she did get her hands on her, the thought making her grit her teeth angrily.

"Trust me, I've had my guard up since day one," Isaac says. Then, sighing, he lays back onto Hayley's bed and stares up at the ceiling as he adds, "It's just so tiring, you know? All this constant looking over my shoulder for the knife that'll stab me in the back, running from unseen enemies...I can't wait for the day where we can just live out our lives without having to worry about all that, even if I can't find my lost memories. I'd honestly give up that chance for a life of peace without a second thought."

Giving Isaac a sympathetic gaze, Hayley nodded and replied in agreement, "That would be nice. We don't have to worry about killing or being killed. It'd be a nice change for both of us." Looking up at the ceiling, she sighed and decided to ask the question that had been nagging her for a short moment. "Why did you not stay and find out more about your memories with Sean? You had that chance... Why did you give it up just for me?"

Isaac looks at Hayley and sits up. Wrapping his arm around her shoulders and taking her hand in his other, he says, "I figured you needed me to calm you down more than I needed to talk to Sean. I wouldn't have been able to sit there with a clear conscience while you were upset. Besides, surely that's not the only chance I'll get." Smiling, he touches his forehead to hers and adds, "I just gotta be patient and everything will come to me when it does. Until then, I'm happy living with a foggy mind as long as I'm with you."
