I hail from a distant land called GameFAQs, where I originally learned to RP. Most of the boards I RPed on have long since given way to inactivity however (for several years now, actually), so I am seeking new grounds on which to play. This looks like a pleasant place, and you all seem to get along well, which is something I'm not entirely used to, so I'd like to join you!

One quick question: what is this site's stance on faction and war RPs, IE two or more semi-strictly organized groups of users RPing against each other simultaneously?

As far as I know, there are many roleplays that do support situations or even plots that depend on opposing factions and warring. It is quite common here, ranging from urban to even medieval-esque settings. :P Needless to say, it's a widely-accepted plot drive. You'll definitely have no problem with that.
