She could have been a witch, if Keil had not bitten her. Since she was bitten, it took away her powers but it does make her more resistant to magic. I did not want to make her too powerful. Haha.

Your reaction if perfect though! This was a big part of my plot. I was afraid Adeline being red-headed would give it away, but it didn't ^.^

Well hell Devin wishes he would have known she was resistant before he got in front of her to protect her lol. That's good though that she isn't a witch because that would be another rough spot for them.

Oh my gosh I'm still all giddy over here!! I really had no clue, honestly my thoughts to the red head was. I guess Devin isn't the only one with a thing for red head.

I didn't want her to be over-powerful. I think adding magic would have been too much, so I decided to just make her a little resistant to it meaning she can break the hold magic has on her if she really wants too. I really want Avina and Devin to be on an even playing field.

It makes me happy that I caught you so off guard! It means I did a great job hiding it!!

I think they will be on an even playing field now, not to mention I think vampires should be weak to magic seeing that magic is what created them. So Avina being a little resistant to it works out perfectly.

You did do a perfect job hiding it! I'm not even sure how Devin is going to react to this news!

If we could find a trait of his that she would inherit rather than just the vampire part, I would totally say that we should! Kind of like they both got a piece of each other.

We may have to skip time where they are just sitting uncomfortably. Or Avina and Devin could start the fight inside.

Hmm we could have Avina pick up a trait from him that doesn't have to do with vampires. I'm not sure what we could do though. He is a little more controlled than must of his kind. Though that kind of comes from his past.

Start the fight inside? How could we make that happen?

Hmm... I am not sure what she could get from him. I keep trying to think of something that is more of a power trait rather then a personality trait. Though I am still fine with him adopting her slight resistance to magic due to become a werewolf from her bite. ^.^

Adeline could let the Marrok in pretty easily. Or she could go outside to join him and wait for night fall. It could give everyone a chance to talk until the sun goes down.
