Dragged Into the Darkness


While ghosts, vampires, and werewolves remain myths, tapping into the world's energy in order to use magic is a largely unknown, yet very real practice. Within the dwindling magical community, there are those who utilize magic for their own personal reasons, but there are also those who believe that the world's energy shouldn't be tampered with. These people formed a group of purists who wish to eradicate all who would use magic for any reason.

This is the story of Saria and Joshua. One a user of shadow magic being targeted by the purists her entire life, and the other a normal boy whose curiosity of Saria thrusts him deep into the quarrels of the magical community.

Gonna be a busy weekend for me so not sure when I'll get the next post. As for the roleplay I think maybe just this one other day then go on a timeskip to get things rolling.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Just enough exposition to get their friendship strengthened at least. What point in their relationship do you think would be a good time for the purists to attack? Before or after they'd start dating? Also, how much time do you want to pass? I was thinking until the end of the semester or year or something.

Also, a bit of a heads up. I'll be on significantly less from the 25th to about the 3rd of August. Visiting old friends and relatives, so I won't be able to actively work on posts

Now that I have started up again, I'm quickly realizing my own inexperience with dating in College has come back to bite me. Concentrated on work mostly and now my lack of experience has caused me to stall. :(

Mm, I see. Well, certainly take your time if you need to. It's understandable about work. About the whole "dating in college" thing; honestly, I'm just winging it myself as I also don't have much personal experience in this kind of situation Especially since I'm a male, how am I even doing this-

But yeah, I'm not going to judge or anything if things aren't really on-point or accurate, especially since Joshua doesn't seem to have much dating experience himself. No worries

Hey. How would you feel if we skipped ahead to when the purists attack? I have a feeling they'd probably have to rebuild their friendship anyway, and it might be easier for you to play. Just a suggestion. I'd really like this rp to continue, and you really seem to be struggling with this <_> So, whatever helps to speed it along is fine with me. I just want it to be enjoyable for both of us.

Just moved to Korea and knee deep in orientation. My brain power is seriously limited at the moment. Frankly might just be best to put this one on indefinite hold for now.
