Samara may be look like a young Witch, but she has been around for a few centuries. Her kindness and compassion is one of the things that keeps the Witch Coven together; they may argue and fight with each other but she has always been the glue so to speak. The Young Witch has a kind heart, but she also knows when she needs to step up and protect herself and her own kind against evil...enemies ect. She doesn’t always like to get involved in war and fights...but she will do what must be done, if the situation demands it.

Bio: Samara grew up on the outskirts in Russia; ever since she was little she knew she was different...strange things happened around her...unexplained things. People forgot who she was, or recalled certain memories and events differently than she did growing up. It didn’t sit with her for a few years; it left her confused and scared of herself until she was at least 13 years old. It was then, that she discovered what she truly was….she had learned that she was a powerful Witch and that people like her burned at the stake after being questioned, tortured and bled..

In fear that Samara would end up like so many of her kind~ she fled from Russia, leaving her family and friends behind and ultimately she found her way to the Coven, she now calls her family. They took her in and helped her learn and harvest her magic, when she learned Control she realized that she and her Coven were destined for great things~however they all found themselves trapped in a war between their Kind and the Hybrids.

Samara had heard stories of the ruthless...powerful...strong...agile and fearful creatures, but never met one before until she found herself in the war. She fears the Hybrids but wouldn’t admit it...not to herself or to anybody else’s. It’s due to her Ego as a Witch and she doesn’t want to seem weak in front of the others for admitting that. Deep down, she doesn’t want this war to carry on and wishes that there would be some alternative for both of the sides.

Samara’s predecessor was named Serena Creighton~legend has it that Serena and Samara are Doppelgangers coming from similar backgrounds and families, as both of the families were poor. However they have different powers to each other. Serena got murdered about 5 centuries before Samara was even born and learned about her heritage. Serena’s necklace has been passed down over the centuries to each generation of Creighton witches...but it got lost and Samara does not have possession of that necklace.

Quick to attempt to befriend others, Daniel occupies a quirky role within the Coven, playing both the obligatory “funny guy” and yet also a bit of a sounding board for when people need someone they can go to in order to complain or seek advice. Although he is a fan of using very bad puns and an occasional joke to get others to open up to him, he has always known when to take matters seriously and provide real advice to those who ask for it. In addition, he has never shown much interest in taking a leading role in the Coven, as he feels he better serves in his current role.

Bio:

Daniel was born and raised along the coast of California, in the western United States, the second-born of four children to parents who had immigrated from Ireland. When Daniel's pyrokinesis began to develop, his parents remembered the old stories they had been told as children, and had quietly reach out to their former homeland for someone who could explain what was happening to their son. Fire would inexplicably break out near him, and no matter which way the wind was blowing, the fires would constantly lean towards him, as though attempting to seek him out. While they waited, Daniel's home was quickly fireproofed as best as his parents could manage. Daniel himself was cut off largely from the world around him, his mother home schooled him, his friends could only come over to his house, and he was told that he had a medical condition which would cause him to hallucinate if his blood pressure got too high from stress. Unfortunately, even with all of these precautions, an accident was inevitable.

At the age of 15, Daniel had every reason to believe that he was an ordinary teenager placed in some mildly unusual circumstances. So, like most other teenagers, he began sneaking out at night and exploring the beach alongside the small town in which he lived. He met others his own age, and though the interactions were a bit socially awkward at first, he soon learned that people open up to a person that makes them laugh. He met a girl, and though he plays it off more as a fling than anything else, his first experience with love was a rocky one. When they broke things off, it was hard on Daniel, and when he snuck out again later that night, he went to a pier that stretched out over the ocean. Even Daniel doesn't remember how the fire got started, the next thing he knew, the pier was quickly becoming enveloped in flames, the fires fed by the untrained magic he had unknowingly tapped into. His fear of being burnt alive only fed the fires more, but as the flames reached toward him, he subconsciously willed them back. By the time the Fire department arrived and put out the fire, Daniel had recovered enough to dive into the ocean, but the local news still told the story of the mysterious fire... and the ten foot circle of unburnt wood near the end of the pier.

Conspiracy theorists blamed everything from aliens to super mutants, but although Daniel was not specifically mentioned, it didn't take long for the Coven to discover the story and seek him out. When they sent a representative to collect Daniel, he at first denied them, unable to comprehend that he was really a witch, something out of the old legends. The representative agreed to give him some time to reconsider, but even Daniel began to realise that the Coven was his only hope for learning how to use these new abilities. Two weeks later, he said his good-byes to his family, and moved to one of the Coven safehouses.

The years passed quickly for Daniel, he learned not only how to control his power of pyrokinesis, but that he had developed two additional abilities as well. Although relatively new to the Coven, he was quick to make friends in his new world. When tensions mounted with the Hybrid Covens, Daniel felt it would be wise to split his focus between developing his powers, and learning how to fight with and without his powers. Although he as no personal reason to hate the Hybrids, he feels no need to show mercy to those who threaten the Coven.

Ronan is one of the youngest of his coven and born with a genetic defect. Ronan is therefore quiet and seemingly passive; ruthlessly controlling his emotions. Do not take this as submissive however, whilst it does seem to take a lot for him to react; when he does he can become controlled, efficient violence incarnate - ruthless in his destruction of his opponents. Ronan is especially protective of his twin sister and younger sister, the only two other than his parents who treat him normally and are are essentially berserk triggers.

Bio:
Ronan is the firstborn son to well respected members of the coven enforcers; the elite warriors of the pack. However he was also born with a genetic defect; he has the genetic weaknesses his werewolf ancestors had - weak to silver, wolf-bane and mercury and he also lacks the superhuman physical abilities of an hybrid - instead being only at peak human physically with enhanced senses. Because of this he is seen as lesser; a runt by most of his coven/pack despite his skill set. Although they couldn’t act upon this, besides showing their absolute contempt; he is an Omega in all but name. In response to this, Ronan doesn’t care much for the members of his pack and doesn’t have much loyalty to the coven - the only ones he cares about are his parents and sisters; a personal loyalty rather than pack. This means that as long as they remain loyal to the pack; so will he.

Because of his treatment; Ronan first tried to earn acceptance from the pack by becoming an enforcer like his parents - learning the art war. Ronan spent most of his early years studying fighting styles well suited to him; seeing as most hybrids rely on their superhuman abilities to win their battles, he wanted to instead focus on being skilled. Ronan also studied Eskrima and after decades of training is a master in the art. It was also at this point that he realized that his coven would never respect him, seeing only the limitations his defect gave him. Whilst he still trains himself religiously, Ronan no longer wants to be an enforcer and instead took to learning how to play the violin, practice parkour to relieve stress and also took up the art of meditation in order to better control his emotions.

Ronan prefers to stay out of coven politics and therefore has his own apartment away from the coven. He also spends most of his time away from them and has few, if any, friends among them. He only goes to coven meetings when summoned or his presence is absolutely required. He doesn’t care about the animosity between the Witches and Hybrids and wishes to remain out of plans to either deal with them or ally with them - he literally cares not.

Morgan is fresh to the coven, and has kept mostly to herself speaking seldom to anyone. With a keen eye she is able to read individuals quite clearly without conversation which she can utilise to find weakness or present necessary compassion when she sees fit. Though beloved to her, Morgan is wary of the witches of her Coven – paranoid of rejection or betrayal. Trust comes from a great deal of time and patience alongside Morgan, however, generally, Morgan places the Coven before herself yet only after analysing every detail of the situation, and not before. She often reads alone.


Bio:
Morgan was raised in the Moorlands of Scotland alone with her father, Allaster Clayton, a warlock. Their life was one of solitude; Morgan had never even seen another soul until she was forced to flee. She spent most of her time studying dead and ancient languages in the depths of her father’s library. When she was not doing this her father would teach her the basics of alchemy and apothecary, whilst also slowly training her how to control her unique powers. Her father had always boasted of the purer life free from the conflicts of the world – Morgan’s inherent distrust towards anyone was founded by his teachings. She was never taught about the wider world beyond the endless grass plains; her father assured her she would never need to.

Until, one autumn eve, her father returned from his foraging ravaged with a sudden, blinding desire that seemed to border the edges of madness to contact the deceased: Morgan knew not who. Powerful as Allaster was, he was not strong enough for the depths of the void to continue. And so Morgan, a mere child of 14, watched her father writhe in agony for hours until he finally died. To this day she knows not what had grieved him so to perform such a dangerous task. She fled, now with nothing left for her here.

She spent the remainder of her life in, unusually, London. She had wandered the plains of Scotland for weeks without seeing a sole, before stumbling upon the village of Aviemore. Taken in by strangers, she endeavored to go where more people than she had ever seen before resided: she went to London. She quickly grew accustom to the lifestyle and lived in a tiny, dingy room above a raucous bar – here she carried on her reading and practiced her magic, desperate not to let go of the roots her father had so dearly treasured. Then, one day, mingling with the common people, as she rarely did, she was consumed by a bout of rage induced by a drunk’s persistence in sleeping with her. She, unintentionally, drained the water from his brain. On the run once more, her Coven found her then.
