You know, I just realized something. Who among our cast of characters knows that Sammy ran from the Battle of Adventbrook? There are some Sixth Divison members who were aware because Sammy received death threats and hate mail for awhile after the battle. Chances are they would have had to actually SEE her flying away on her shadow disc, because she wasn't there very long. Also, there was a lot of craziness going on with all the giant aliens and death. While her retreat was part of the news report that revealed that Kazara's secret identity was Sammy Raynor, I'm not sure how many folks outside the States would have heard about it. I mean, I think an alien assault on a Canadian city would draw a bit more attention than one psygen celebrity. But I know that's not necessarily true for everyone. I'm just curious because this could be a potentially important part of her character arc. Don't want to drop that plot bomb too soon.

Stabby was present and survived Adventbrook, so he might be aware. At the very least, when the fighting was done and everyone regrouped, he wouldn't have spoken with her nor seen her among the dead. Actually seeing her run - open for discussion.

The Poet may have seen something. And she would be the type to make Sammy know she knows - in a very intimidating, dark way.

Might just do that, color their reunion. Probably not in a negative way, though. While not a strategic withdrawal, getting the hell out of Dodge might have been the smartest course of action. I think we can work with this, actually, particularly as a motivator to get Samantha to reinvent herself. Maybe drag Dante back to sanity. Thoughts?

Dark and intimidating is the best lol. Sounds good to me, Palindromatic. Actually, Sigil, that sounds like a good idea. Sammy cares about Dante at least a little bit. She'd want to help him and that would also encourage her to get her act together. I like it. Yeah for plans and not working on a post...oh...wait lol. Kidding, kidding.

Works for me. I mean, again, I have to believe her fleeing Adventbrook would also be a part of the news special that revealed Kazara's actual identity is Samantha Raynor. However, due to all the aliens and madness, I'm not sure people would care much. Totally feasible for someone like Vorian, who doesn't seem like the type to miss important details, to know.

Vivek probably wouldn't know but he's sharp enough to be able to recognize her even with dyed hair and the extra weight. He'll probably be one of those people that insists on calling her by her old name though lol.

Lol, good to know. At some point over the course of the RP, once she gets her head on straight, Sammy will announce she's no longer going by Kazara. Her new "hero name" will be Torchlight. But that won't happen for a good long while. Man, she's going to have a hard time dealing with all these people calling her Samantha again lol.

I think Merle would be the only reason Vivek goes back since he thinks so highly of her and has worked with her before. She's gonna have to go to him though...

Sorry, you guys, I've gotten so busy lately. I'm still here, constantly checking, even if I don't reply right away. I've come to learn that I'm not the kind of person who can juggle school, work and general life simultaneously. I envy those people who can.

@Lexicon and @DJAtomika, I'll have the parts of the next posts PMed to you guys ASAP.

@YoshiSkittlez, by "I'll PM you shortly," I really meant a few days apparently. Haha, I'm so quirky. What will we ever do with me?
