"Yeah, it's fine. Maybe we can-" He noticed something. "Wait. There's more." He examined the walls, finding a small latch behind one of the crystals. He pulled on it and the back wall slid open to reveal a tunnel.

"I guess the last group didn't find everything."

Saria sniffed the air and the scent of the magic was stronger. She remained crouched and ran down the tunnel, hoping he'd keep up and keep her in the light.

Andrew kept close to Saria. The tunnel was not too long, and it led to a room with an idol on it. It was made of clay, shaped like a dragon, and had jewels set into its eyes. "Well, this has magic to do... something."

"Interesting. Not sure why it is hidden down here. Maybe it was secreted away to protect it from whatever wrecked the city" Andrew said. They left the tunnel and were back out into the sunlight.

"Hold on. Let me change a bit. I AM part-elf, you know. Elves love their pleasures." He took off his cloak and boots, removed his socks took off his shirt, but kept his pants and undergarments on. Andrew lay down on the sand, his sword and other equipment lying by his side. "Ahhh, much better."

Saria hadn't seen a bit, but she knew he was probably in a good way, now. She chuckle softly and almost wished she could do as he did, but a woman cannot go without a shirt.

"You can't see me, can you? I'm not vain, but people have said I am quite nice for the ladies to look at." He was slightly odd for a human, due to being part elf. The differences were subtle, but shone clearly when one knew what to look for. His ears were somewhat pointed, his hair unusually bright and pure of color, and he had very little hair on his chest or arms. Still, it was clear that Andrew was broader-shouldered and less gracefully built than just about any elf. His eyes, though, were a shade of emerald green which no human naturally had.

She chuckled. "I have no clue. I've...always been blind. I've never seen anything, really. Just the Magical auras..." she ran a hand along her Chestnut skin, on her face, then tugged a teal lock of hair. She was a slender thing, being petite and tiny. but she had power in her, as shown by the muscles she had.

"You say you have no true form? Or, rather, you said you cannot assume your true form? Do you know what it is? Or what it looks like" Andrew was curious about Saria now, or at least, he wanted to know more about her species. His knowledge of shape-shifters was all too limited.

She smiled gently. "My mother told me. I am...girlish. Tall. About ten feet, to be exact. I am slender and slight, with long white hair and pale skin. My eyes are a soft Periwinkle blue. I have white feathered wings and a long tail, white with blue fur on the tip."

"Wings and a tail? You're a bird?" He asked, curious. "A ten-foot tall bird with feathers and pale skin? Interesting." Andrew had heard of strange creatures before. He knew about dragons, gryphons, hydras, hippogriffs, sea serpents, sirrushes, shedus, sphinxes, chimeras, manticores and dozens of beings, but nothing like that.

She smiled. "My body and mind are stuck at 23, but I've lived for a loooong time. I kinda got cursed." She just smiled a little, remembering what was needed to break it.
