This is a topic that has confused me for example: Watching a Horror Movie, scares me, But reading it from Book to RP, it isn't scary at all, sure it might give the reader that tingling feeling, or any other feeling of fear. But the question: Is Written Horror better than Screen Horror?

So you're scared of visual horror?

Rather than writing vs screen, I see it as either visual vs psychological. Visual horror never fails to bore me, so I'd say I'm more of psycho-horror fan.

As to which is a better kind of horror, I guess it really depends on individual preferences. Some people can be easily scared by vivid visual depictions, while some would have to feel it in their bones to actually be scared. (I'm the later type.)
