Marie mumbled something in her sleep and shifted slightly, putting her arm across his chest, but then grew still.

Meanwhile, Grim eventually grew bored of watching the two sleepers in the room, and he dropped to the floor, landing on his feet, before walking back out of the room. Anticipating the two women's objection, he held up a hand. "I won't go too far." He told them. And with that, he walked back out into the street. It was slowly getting lighter outside, and already he saw a few early risers coming out to try to make an early profit. No doubt by petty theft and pickpocketing.

"You'd better not." Terra called after him, before checking in to make sure the others were still in their bunks. It wouldn't do to go loosing all of them before the mission was to start.

"So chatty." Sighed Victor in amusement, glancing down at her again. After a bit he eased out from under her, replacing himself with a pillow before straightening up and running his fingers through his hair.

But Grim defiantly ignored the knife-girl. He knew what he was doing. Yes, he might be a new hired hand, temporarily, but he wasn't going to them think that he was a tame dog to be ordered about and commanded around.
