Shikaru came into it after everyone was on their second round of posts, so... I dunno. Plus she isn't really involved with what's going on with the kid right now, right? Technically her turn should be after nrtashi since the GM posted, then Lord Santa posted, then BytheSpleen, then me, and then nrtashi. Unless Shikaru has to wait for the GM to post twice before they can go... *shrug*

Yo! Sorry for the absence :) Meh iz back after the weekend. I have a troublesome short film composition gig going on that required my attention on Saturday and Sundays are just generally a total day off for me :D

Is "Avveel" pronounced "Ah-veeel" or "Ah-vehl"? I'm suddenly coming to terms with the fact that I've probably been mispronouncing it in my head the whole and it's resulted in me getting the tune for "The Farmer in the Dell" stuck in my head every time I read the title.

Ha! Can't say I've had the pleasure of hearing the tune but I am sure you are havin a good time singing it ;)

Avveel is pronounced as it is written following Finnish pronouciation. Ah-vehl would probably be the closest you get following English traditions.

So in other words, I'm going to keep getting this song stuck in my head. It's not really a song you sing unless you're 5 years old. It's one of those songs that apply to only two situations-- preschool or a horror film.

And for those wondering Säätur's name. The double 'ä' is pronounced the same way as 'a' in the word 'man' or like 'a' in the word 'fat' but just longer. :)

As you noticed now, I gave "hidden" info to @BytheSpleen's Lyra. If you want spoilers there is nothing I can do to stop you from reading it but I encourage you not to do that. Some excitement even if it is a little thing ;)
