Franklin Richards is bored. Really bored. To try and get over it he decides that, like a lot of people, that he wants to go watch a football game for entertainment. Not just any football game will do. He wants the so-called "Superhumans" to play football.
As he needs more people for the game, though. He talks to Nabu (not Doctor Fate, that's just a front for that universe) and they arrange to take anyone who wants to play from their two universes to a neutral universe for a game.
They've posted requests for football players in both universes. Now they just have to wait for responses.
