Oscar has been taking his men on a training trip. Despite Oscar demanding a lot from his men, he gave back as much as he could. One evening, some of his men feel uneasy and they report this to Oscar. He takes note of it but does not put much thought into it. That night, Oscar has a nightmare which he wakes up. Oscar sits in his tent with his heart racing, panting and feeling guilt. He is unsure why he feels guilty. Oscar then notices the stream of light camping though the slit in his tent. He got up, dress in his morning clothes and stepped out. Oscar can hear the bird chirping and the sun alright quite high despite being morning. He notices that none of his men are up yet. He shouts orders to wake up. Nothing. Oscar frowns. He tries again. Again, nothing. He search the first tent and what he finds shocks him. His men are dead in their beds. Each tent, that Oscar goes to, is the same. Oscar walks to the middle of the camp. His knees buckle beneath him and now Oscar is sitting on his feet. His eyes are fill of bewilderment.

Few days later, Oscar walks into a small farming town. He proceeds to find a tavern. He finds it, walks into it and sits at the table. He takes off his helmet and puts it on the table. Despite only being in his mid thirties, Oscar's face looks worse for wear. He asks the bartender for the strongest drink that he has. The bartender proceeds to do so. Once back at the table, the bartender asks "I haven't seen you around these parts. Do you need help?" Oscar replies in a monotone voice "Only if you can speak to the dead or know someone who can." The bartender is surprised then freaked out by Oscar. The bartender leaves him be.

"Oh hush there is only one girl that can speak to the dead or legend says so. She lives deep in the shadow forest they say and the forest no one has ever come out of" said an old voice. A very old man sat two seats beside the other.

"If you are truly despirte go in the forest and try to find her if not leave the legend be. " said the old man with pale eyes. So there was someone that could speak with the dead a girl but hell it was better then nothing.... Right.

Oscar says "That is so? Please tell me more." There is a glimmer of hope in his eyes. This is good news for Oscar although it just may be legends. Any thing is good enough for Oscar. He would even strip himself of all titles and become a hermit if he had to.

"Her horse comes to town every evening to grab a few things and leaves. There is also a ......wolf thing that comes as well every two weeks . it's unknown if they belong to the girl or not but they are ghosts since no one sees them but they can hear them pretty well" said the older male. "She said to communicate with spirit through her magic. Other then that nothing is known"

"Thank you, kind sir. Do you need anything in return?" Offers Oscar as he starts to drink and enjoy his berevage. Oscar feels little more at peace and his old self is came back a little. The guilt has burden him over the last few days. Oscar odten stays awake at night, pondering why he was spared.

"No I don't need anything really" said the old wise man. After an hour the sound of hooves clompef through the quite area when most where asleep. Nothing could be seen but it was horse hooves large ones. It headed to the market ready to get fee things.

"If you are correct, then this may que." Says Oscar. He finishes his drink in a few hasty gulp. He was much of a drinker so he pulled a face. He just needed it to ease the pain a little. He put the cup on the table, take out and dropped a few gold coins. More then needed. He stands up and exits the tavern, taking his helmet. Oscar looks for a sign post. He finds one and goes to the market place as indicated.

The sound of hooves kept on going as the stallion was grabbing things placing them in a basket

Oscar followed the sound of the hooves. He knows that he has no chance of catching up to a horse. He decide to follow the horse to lead him to the rumoured person.

The stallion headed into the forest but half way in the sound vanished leaving the other list in the dark realm of a forest.

Although Oscar can no longer hear the horse, it does not mean he can not find it. He slows down and puts his right hand on the hilt of his blade. He is ready if anything were to attack.

Just as the man came to a bridge he would see a massive grey stallion form shimmering between him and the bridge needed to keep going. The stallion had glowing feathers in its mane and it snorted deeply at him eyes narrowed.

Oscar knew the majestic creature in front of him could make quick work of him if not careful. Oscar takes his hand off his sword and with his other hand, rises them above his head. "I mean no harm. I want to speak to you master."

The stallion gave a deep roar like a whinny rearing up as three hounds came forward their fangs bared deeply at the male before lashing out with no mercy fangs bared and snapped at the knight sharply. unlike regular wolves their jaw streangh was beyond mortal feeling able to crush a thick post so a mortal mans skin was nothing to them. As they kept fighting a female voice cried out "Stop stop it right now" she yelled a female ran forward as the wolves whimpered and backed away from the male as the horse snorted. the female had a glowing white dress on.

"I am so sorry about them they do not like strangers at all, who are you?"

"I am Oscar and I am guilt-burden. I need closure for the deaths of my men. I refuse to go and tell their families until I know the full truth of thier deaths. I mean no harm." says Oscar, almost pleading. He wants her to believe his sincerity.

She looked at him slightly but she nodded her head "very well , I shall help" the horse have a whinny or protest but a glare from the female and it shits its mouth swiftly.

"Thank you. I will forever be in your debt. It might not mean much to you but to me, it means a lot. I owe their families this." Oscar said. Oscar is joyful that he can be at peace, knowing what happened to his men.

The female nodded "where is the base camp?" Asked looking at the othet

"It is about two or three days walk from here but on horse, we can get there this evening if we push." Oscar ponders. "I do not have a horse of my own but I am sure I can get one at the town."

"You can ride Redin if you like he is faster then a normal horse" looking at the spirit fire horse that was massive as it snorted
