[hider=Snemon (snake demon)]

I have seen enough, too, to know that it is not always the youngest and best who are spared to those that love them; but this should give us comfort rather than sorrow, for Heaven is just, and such things teach us impressively that there is a far brighter world than this, and that the passage to it is speedy.

In Depth Appearance
He stands at approximately six feet and two inches, with a slim and lithe build. Despite his appearance, he is actually quite muscled, with what little muscle such a thin body like his could actually acquire, at any rate. His eyes are normally a pale red, but can often change to a vile yellow color, with the irises becoming slits down the center of the eye. It seems to change both at will, and when he lets loose. His skin is without flaws and is as pale as the snow, two more things about him that will never change.
Scars, Tattoos, Piercings
He has no alterations to his body, aside from his mark that covers his left shoulder.

When he is thinking, he tends to sway from side to side.
he whistles only during gardening.
In his time in his own realm, he made knots of himself and tried to untie himself, sometimes subconsciously.

Personality
♦ Humorous ♦ Patient ♦ Twisted ♦ mindful ♦
Unlike many demons, the Snake Demon takes his time, and picks out contracts that he believes will keep him in the human realm for a long time. He also enjoys laughter and the wonders of human humor. Laughing at death and pain gives him a chuckle for old time's sake every now and then, but smiles at actual funny humor. He does tend to remain quiet unless spoken to, though. The only time he normally breaks his silence is for a matter worth discussing, or a joke that he learned of recently. As human as he seems, he is still a demon, and does in fact take pleasure at the suffering of others, even if it doesn't cause him to laugh. The faces that contort in pain, the screams and pleas of mercy. he enjoys them all with what would almost seem like lust. Blood spouting everywhere, pumping out in waves in sync with a dying, beating heart.
Place of origin
Though a demon now, in the earliest days of man, he was once, albeit as brief as can be, a human. He was offered as a sacrifice to one of his tribe's deities, and returned to the human realm in the form of a demonic snake, the very same form that the god took when she herself visited the humans.
History
Only as an infant was the Demon ever a human. It was in the earliest stages of mankind, and he was sacrificed to a god so the tribe would be allowed to exist for another five years. He knew that he was human once, but he doesn't care about it at all. He did not know those people, and did not care when he slaughtered them all in his first return to the human realm.
Since then, he took contracts for any willing soul who wanted him for whatever purpose, and would take their souls in the end. There was little interesting about it, if he was being honest, but the world always looked different every time he took a new contract.
